We absolutely love this shop! A favorite when we lived in town, and a must-stop-spot everytime we come back to visit. Great selection and extremely friendly staff who are always willing to look up or even order a book for you if it's not in stock. Highly recommend!

Y'all. This place has IN STORE BOOK CLUBS. I'm being exposed to new wonderful reads I wouldn't have picked up on my own, meeting neat people, and having great nerdy discussions. The staff is super helpful, and quick to order anything they don't have in store. I'm happy to give my money to a local bookstore instead of a big box.

WE LOVE TOWNE BOOK CENTER! Where else can you go to encourage your child to read and explore her favorite stories ... AND meet her favorite characters! The staff is wonderful!!! They are truly knowledgable and full of recommendations. They take their time with the kids and help encourage them to explore new titles and characters. And the staff simply engages with all the children are in the shop ... something that we are grateful for because it helps build confidence and it builds excitement to come back and keep reading!

Besides the selection of books, they have great gifts. Not your ordinary type but unique things, for that hard to buy for person. They make great stocking stuffers too. Lots of puzzles and calendars as well. The staff is extra helpful. If they don't have your book, they'll get it.

Great indie book store! Staff were super knowledgeable about not only inventory but publishing companies as well. I came away with several great books recommended to me by the staff based on books that I like. It was really nice to be able to actually discuss books with people, rather than have a person just point me in a random direction.

Love them. Great selection and will order you anything they don't have and it gets there super fast. They've been very conscientious during COVID and I appreciate their dedication to customer safety and strict mask policy. They have a huge selection of middle reader books and kids' graphic novels.

My favorite book store in the area! Great location and best selection of books you will find in the area.They even have an LGBT section and a very large selection of sociology + political science books which you just don't find anywhere. They have awesome events that draw people into the store, they really are staying on top of it and keeping up with the modernization of reading. They also have awesome book-related merchandise like t-shirts, pins, tote bags, and nick-knacks that I can never seem to leave the store without buying. The employees are super nice and helpful. Great store! I highly recommend!

Very nice indie bookstore. Visited for a signing and enjoyed it immensely. Staff was helpful and courteous. Store was well-stocked and features a nice wine bar. Plenty of parking on site and close to a varied selection of restaurants, for refueling after an afternoon hidden in the stacks.

Adorable little shop, doesn't have the amount of books Barnes and Noble has however they give you the option to order it and pick up later. The sections are well organized and staff is very helpful. I bought a Bob Ross bobble head and a small read. There are seats to sit and read briefly before buying and they do have little events held on certain days.

Visited Towne Book Center for a book signing and had a great experience. Store is well organized and clean. Staff were great. Independent bookstore is always more expensive than buying online, but you get what you pay for. Great children's area. Awesome location surrounded by a bunch of shopping and restaurants.

decent selection. public restroom very clean. large, open space. ability to roam around and handle books, open to a page in my hands and make my choices. I'm willing to pay a few extra $$ i might have saved on amazon p., for the in person experience.

This book store is a bibliophile's dream come true. The staff is knowledgeable and full of suggestions. They load the shelves with recommendations of books they loved. They have group nights, from book reviews to writing groups. To top it all off, you can buy a glass of wine while you stalk the shelves for your next great read.

A great selection of books. The layout of the kids selection was a bit confusing to me, but there was a wide variety. All employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. I hadn't been to the wine bar part this last visit, but I'm looking forward it the next time!

I needed to get a book for my daughter for school. I called ahead and they held it for me. I had never been there before. I love it! The staff was very knowledgable. I watched one of the workers interacting with a young girl, offering suggestions for further reading. The staff member was as excited as the young girl about all the new titles coming out. With all the large chain bookstores going out of business, it was wonderful to know that local bookstores are still around! I will definitely be back!

Great selection, great staff. I don't know what to say about the wine bar that replaced the tea and coffee bar. The tea and coffee were great, but I don't drink wine, so I can't speak to that. In any case, the book selection and the helpful staff add up to a great independent bookstore. They have a lot of great events, and they take care of their customers. If you don't know where to find it in the big outdoor mall where it's located, look for the Collegeville Wegmans, and it's one of the most visible landmarks on the opposite end of the parking lot.

It's a real bookstore with a curated section and everything. Places like this are hard to find and almost unheard of in an outdoor mall setting. If you are in the providence town center Check this place Out!

One of the few real book stores left. The wine bar is a serious added bonus but I'd come here regardless! The staff are always very friendly and I enjoy their write-ups about their favorites scattered around the store.

Happy to see independent books stores open on and thriving. They're keeping things interesting by now serving food and coffee along with wine (from local vineyards) while you peruse books. They have book clubs and promotions, and frequently host events. Good thing for the community, keep up the good work!

I was very interested in joining the book club. At my first visit the woman at the counter seemed annoyed when I asked her for the book club books. This was after I searched the entire bookstore for the book. After all that, she didn't offer me the book club discount! The second time I went in to get the book club book I had terrible customer service. Just dismissed my questions. I'm not going to join the book club now.

Very clean. Polite people. They've a Covid-19 policy of giving you a nice canvas shopping bag for the books you want to purchase. Great selection of young people novels. Magazines were removed due to Covid-19.

After a few minutes walking around on my own a staff member always approaches me to ask if they cam help me. They are always friendly. If they can't find the book you need they will order it and have it in a couple of days. I just ordered a book from their online store it was convenient and simple, plus they had exactly what I was looking for. Plus it is a local businesses, why not shop small?

I love this book corner its the cutest place i've been small set up but enough books to relax and have a evening to yourself. they have seatings so you can sit and read. Children s books and toys are brilliant and the staff is very polite they do not bother you even if you are just there to read. their door says come sit read that a strong marketing punchline.

The Trappe Book Center goes above and beyond for their customers. When I contacted them about throwing a surprise party for my wife at the bookstore, they loved the idea and did everything in their power to make the afternoon a smashing success. P.K., Sarah, & Sue were terrific; they made sure everything we needed was in place and took care of all they promised. If I hadn't already done so, I'd gladly throw another surprise party for my wife there again - she loves the store (and books) and now it has an even fonder memory for her. Thank you TBC for making her day!

My nephews played and read books and had a blast. I would have liked the wine bar. But Red Robin texts you when your table is ready, so you can browse books while waiting. It's a win win

It's a nice little bookstore. They don't have the stock of one of the mega bookstores but they can get you whatever you're looking for. I have not tried any of their beverages but it's a pretty nice setup.
