Such an amazing shop with a variety of things to buy. Found a cool journal to buy for my sibling! There’s devotionals, jewelry, pamphlets to hand out, instruments, wallets, keychains, and more! This place is just Wonderful! All things Christian and spiritual related can be found here..books, music, jewelry, teeshirts, gift items etc. There are three levels -- all items are of high quality and are beautifully displayed throughout the store. It's a very Zen shopping experience (it was my first visit, I spent quiet a while there). I highly recommend New Life and will be returning soon. 😇🥰

This place was a lot bigger inside than I expected! As you'd think, they have a lot of Bibles, but also a lot of gifts and some Church goods as well as a selection of books that trends pretty evangelical, but they did have a few Catholic books including some good ones by Fr. Thomas Dubay. They carry a lot of Crossways titles. A number of books by NT Wright. They can put names on Bible covers and they also sell Church goods like candlesticks, crosses, clergy shirts.

New Life might be the ONLY legit Christian store in NY.. Amazing place with knowledgeable staff. What's great about this place is they don't push the most expensive product your way. They take time to hear about your needs, and then they recommend books that they think are best for your situation! They take time in getting to know each person, and they are equipped and willing to help! They have so many deals as well, especially with their weekly email specials (make sure you sign up!!!). Their prices are super competitive, and there are people there to talk to - sure does BEAT online shopping!!! And the products in store feels endless. They are always in stock and there are so many options to choose from (books, bibles, cups/mugs, gifts, pens, chocolate, house supplies, church supplies, clothes, etc). My only complaint would be the lighting because it's a little dark on the inside, but the manager told me last time I was there that the lighting would be updated soon. Once that happens, this store has no flaws of any kind! I can not wait to check it out once that has been fixed!!! 100% recommend this place to anyone.

This store is a gem within NYC. The owner Rich and the manager Jim are very friendly and helpful. The staff is extremely knowledgeable regarding the products they offer and they are always ready and excited to help you with your purchasing needs. The prices are very competitive and usually beat the best prices I find online. Many times they have special sales going on at prices you won't find anywhere else and that has led me to get books that were incredible. They have a wide selection of products and I have made a lot of people happy from the gifts I've bought for church gatherings, family members, and friends from various backgrounds and religions.

I have been going to New Life Book store for a super long time. There used to be another Book store called Christian Publications in Manhattan that rivaled New Life, but New Life would have Gospel recording artists come and Minister in their lower level and it was fantastic. But more importantly the supply of bibles and other materials are still in abundance at New Life. I like being able to flip through a book instead of looking on line. In any event. I love New Life and their wonderful staff. Amen.

This is my favorite store to go to when I need a Bible or a gift. But on my last visit I noticed how expensive everything was marked. While I understand that due to this lockdown there's not much revenue coming in I feel it's unfair to pass the loss on to the customers by inflating the prices.

I want one person that shops at this store to tell me that they go in for one specific purchase in mind make the purchase and then exit "safely" I'm pretty certain it cannot happen. There is sooooo much stuff, valuable information, a wealth of christian knowledge beautifal home decor in this store it is impossible to leave with only one item. I love the atmosphere the people are so kind, loving and more impotantly patient. But wait it gets better THEY ARE YOUNG PEOPLE!! I LOVE IT! The owner is a walking bible, and book. He recommends new books that he's enjoyed reading (which are most of the books in the store) I must say I love this Christian Store my husband sometimes forgets to tell me he's going...(hmmmm I wonder why), but when I get the opportunity to go I enjoy my time there. No online purchase can ever take the place of the experience that you have actually shopping in this store.

Today was my first visit to this wonderful establishment. I dislike having to wait around for places like amazon to deliver my books (because I am always eager to read and learn from my new books) but because amazon always had all the books I wanted I settled for the wait. But with the New Christian Life Store, I think I will never have to wait for a book again. Everytime I go here I feel like there isn't much customer service. It's a pretty big place with a lot of products, so one can be in there for an eternity looking for something that's in plain sight. They need more guidance within the shop, but the staff that were there were really kind.

Unlike most retail spots. These guys have saintly patince. There is a guy there is smooth handwriting and he stitched a name in a costume bible. He didn’t just stand behind the desk either. My guy went around and even helped me pick a bible. The place is great. I hope and pray more and more stores pop up like this.

I have been looking for a Christian bookstore for a verrrryyyyyyy long time over a year to meet my needs until my little cousin happened to text me one day bragging about how beautiful this bookstore was!!! but now that is all over!! Now i have a place where they literally have everything!! Any bible translation that you need they have, whether your a student in seminary school they have what you need, whether your a teacher or a pastor or preacher they have a WHOLE section on commentaries and theology books that you can choose from!!! I can literally be there for hours...as a matter of fact im thinking on going back soon and i live in the bronx but do not mind taking a trip there again. AMAAZZIINNGG!!
