Matt and John are the dopest guys around. Every time I come in they help me pick out what I’m looking for. On one occasion I described what I was looking for and when Matt wasn’t even on the clock, he helped me out and got exactly what I was looking for on the first try! This place not only has a great selection of graphic novels but great customer service as well. Live long and prosper 🖖🏻

This comic book store is one of my son's favorites. The workers in there are very knowledgeable and really help you, especially for people new to comic books. They pointed out which volumes to start with and give a lot of suggestions. They also have a lot of knowledge about comic history. There is a large selection. They also have Funko pops and other cool items

The Mindless Demon

I haven't been here since the pandemic hit, but it was a great place to go. Good staff, hella comics and DeX-Starr (the kitty) was such a friendly little lad!! Edit: I finally had the chance to go back yesterday and it was just as good as I remembered it to be!! The staff was friendly/helpful, there was a wide variety of comics and figures for collectors and they also had a little spot where you could pick up snacks and drinks at the front. Sadly, I didn't see DeX-Starr when I went and I hope the little critter is doing ok. He's a really friendly little guy :)

Didnt have what I wanted but was an okay experience. Girl I checked out with (braided brown/black hair & glasses) was a bit too serious. Seemed like she didn't even wanted to be there. Guys in front of me were trying to have a conversation with her but she was just bland. Im sure this place has a lot to offer if you're looking for comics, figures & some collectibles.

my go-to place to shop for the latest and great place with friendly staff. the new guy working there isnt customer service friendly so hes probably not a good fit for the bay ridge location.

A top notch experience that I plan to have again very, very soon. This was absolutely nothing like stopping into a local GameStop, or the common retail store that has eyes immediately peering through your existence at every turn, simply because you're a black man browsing the items for sale. I wasn't pressured, or honestly even paid any attention to until I approached the register area with my haul of PoP! collectibles. I had to make a coupe trips because I bought 10. I am not only completely satisfied with the retail experience here, the cashier was friendly and polite. He conducted the transaction, thanked me and I went to browse a bit more, he went back to his cell phone. I didn't feel rushed out, or constantly watched as is the case most of the time for me. The only other place like this would have to be Bulletproof Comics, but that store is far from this neighborhood (Bay Ridge). I would recommend this location to anyone who enjoys comic books, collectibles, action figures, or statues.

Very nice and clean. The first half of the store feels like a candy store. Overall, I think this is a great place that I will love to visit again.

They try to have their stock of trading cards updated when they can, it's not always perfect. My biggest reason for returning to this store is customer loyalty, if you spend your money there they remember it. They're good peoples, they're knowledged in their niche, and despite that they're still kickin. If I had one hope is that they get more serious with TCG and sell singles (cards) and hosted card events (sanctioned).

Friendly neighborhood shop. Good selection of trade paperbacks, new releases and old issues. Right next to the Alpine Theatre so there's also a good selection of tasty treats. Cool shop cat too!

Great place for comics and figurines. Also a quick stop for some snacks. They don't have a table dedicated for playing cards, which would've been absolutely perfect since they also sell cards. Great looking store.

There is something about a comic book store that just feels so positive and neighborly, even though I'm not really into comics. It just feels like a unique and interesting small business to have in the neighborhood. This place seems to have a big selection of comics, and does have a huge selection of graphic novels which i do sometimes read. I've found quite a few interesting titles here. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The comic shop I always went to after a movie at the Alpine. This neighborhood was always a go to of mine in my earlier college days with the pool hall being nearby. They always have an abundant amount of the new weekly comics and a great amount of collectible figures!

Been a while since I visited a comic book store. Was very happy to hear two guys arguing over some super hero origin story :-) I hope things go well for this store, it's actually been here for dinner time. Nice collection, I might look for a Japanese super hero series to get into.

Nice bright little shop! They have a decent amount of merch, a huge collection of graphic novels and compilation books, and a good spread of new releases including some indie publishers. They don't have many back issues to speak of, it was hard finding even 2 or 3 issues back, but there is a small collection of old runs.

This is a good comic book stop for all ur needs!! Anything from anime, to marvel and DC. They have funko pops and vintage statues of classic characters. If they don't have what you are looking for just ask and they might be able to order it!

Good experience! Staff are really cool guys and they have some awesome stuff there, even though they are rip offs (there stuff costs a lot of money), the store is still cool. Their pens costs $4.00 which is expensive but writes cool. I love their stuff there.

Went by yesterday to introduce my gf and some friends to MTG, and John and Ming were awesome and helpful AF about helping us find the right starter sets for us. The location is really chill, and the rumors about the shop's cat aren't exagerrated at all.

Friendly staff especially Matt who has answered all my MTG question over and over. Also the fellow MTG players that's meet up Friday nights to play were very helpful and as a beginner made me feel very welcome. Will continue purchasing cards there for Now on. Highly recommend

The staff is chill, and they have a wide range of comics and other memorabilia. A good place to grab cheaper candy for the movie theatre next store, and kill time looking at some comics while you wait for your movie to start. I belive they hold Magic the Gathering events once a month, if I'm not mistaken.

Go here if you want comics and a cat to pet. They have candy cause they're next door to a movie theatre. The clerk seemed disinterested and judgemental over my comic selection, that was odd. Go here if you know what you want just don't expect a very helpful staff. Maybe it was the day I went or something, shop here and reserve judgement for yourself.

I would like to say a few words about Galaxy comics inc, I give a good score because there is a very large selection of pankapop comics for different ages (from 5+ to 18+), old thin books for a dollar two and sweets are greeted at the entrance.
