Fantastic little shop stuffed with comics, a few books, and the odd collectible. The owner, Chris, is pretty knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!

I've worked with Chris, the owner. He's very fair and honest. The problem is that he is such a strict grader that he ends up undervaluing comic books, especially old ones. That's great if you're buying (which I have benefitted from) but not so good if you're selling and he undervalues what your stuff is worth. Chris will give you a fair offer based on what HE thinks your stuff is worth, but you should take your stuff to at least one other dealer to see if they would value your stuff higher. But then, you should do that anyway. If you have something good, get more than one offer!

Lots of great back issues of comics, magazines, and books.

There were boards on all the windows of this place when I visited, so I thought it was an abandoned storefront, but there was a sign on the plywood covering the door saying "open." Even though I was sure I would be killed and eaten as soon as I stepped inside, it turned out to be a comic book store, and a pretty good one at that! The place is so stuffed with comic books that you might feel a bit claustrophobic, but the people working there were friendly and they even had some original 30 year old weekly Shonens from Japan. Overall this place is great. I didn't even know comic stores like this one still existed. Support this store if you can, they deserve it.

I have been going there for years. Just stopped by with my boys, 9 and 11. They were just as impressed as I always am. Nostalgia Zone is the best comic shop I have ever set foot in. Well organized, friendly, fairly priced and stocked with an overwhelming variety of comic books.

This is the kind of Comic book shop you want. Dusty shelves, piles of comics, twists and turns. Areas where that one Comic you've been looking for might just be. Selection varies, they get new product in all the time, and product goes out all the time. Such is the ways of a CBS.
I enjoy my visit, I was there for a couple hours. I think my only issue, and your's will be pricing. If you're looking for deals on some comics, you might not find it, they use various sources which arguably price up issues. I'm not talking Hulk 161 here, bit early 90's stuff that was produced in glut that prices have not gotten higher, but either are just at or well under book pricing (new). They have a free membership that saves you 10% and a reward system I'm not entirely sure about either, and deals via email on occasion, that comes with a list of what's new in store. That's a cool feature.
I don't agree with organization, some of it is alphabetical backwards, and that can play tricks on where yr looking or going. Eventually you'll find what you're looking for, if it's there.
All in all it has the hallmarks of a decent in product shop, but be wary on what you might be spending. Support the locals, keep comics alive, read, read read!

This place was a fun visit. There is something for everyone here and the prices a great. If you sign up on there website you can get a discount on products in the store. There were 10 boxes of $.25 comics so I was able to dumpster dive as well as pick up some back issues I needed. The place is a little disorganized, but if you can get beyond that, its a gem. Well worth checking out!

A treasure trove of vintage collectibles for old timers like myself. The guys behind the counter have a lifetime of knowledge and experience for you to rely upon. Become a member and you can find bargains in every corner. You can't miss. This is one of a handful of essential stores in the Twin Cities area...perhaps the most essential.

It was a really fun walking into this shop. Wall to wall books and a lot of cheap discount comics that I always enjoy looking through. The man running the place was super nice and helpful with looking up some books I was trying to get my hands on. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in that area again

This place is dope! I found some comics I've been looking for in great condition for a great price and they gave me a membership discount my first time there. The person working there was also super patient, helpful, and nice. I will be back there often!
