The place was cool and I would definitely recommend it for comics. For books it felt like a disorganized mess - we could not figure out if they were ever actually organized. It made it difficult to look for genres or even authors. Some people might enjoy this but I found it confusing. Also, used and new books were intermingled and there seemed to be a lot of full priced new books. I don't blame them for stocking their shelves, it just took away from the used book store experience I was expecting.

This place is amazing! Strolled in the other day during lunch and definitely needed way more time to look around so, returned today with the kiddos. We found some fantastic gems! Totally worth the drive! Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

This is a destination book store if ever there was one! I love this place and can't wait for another opportunity to visit Minneapolis for this place. If you are a horror fan make sure you have lots of money to spend - you will spend it all and happily. P.s. make a t-shirt :)

New and old books. Comics, mainly trades. Section for kids. Couple of nice guys run the place on a weekday. Prices are affordable. Collectibles. Park not perfect but pretty easy to find a spot. Not sure if the door is wheelchair accessible. Isle are narrow. Neatly stacked and sort shelves. Definitely recommend.

Dream is right!!! This place is a marvel - so many great reads under one roof. Especially appreciated the magnificently curated horror selection with reprints and rarities I’ve never seen elsewhere. I absolutely Love this store!! Everyone there is amazing. I was able to buy dust jacket covers for all my books here instead of waiting for them to be shipped to me. The staff even took the time to show me how to apply them. They have a amazing selection of books and comics, and a great friendly atmosphere. I could hang out in this store all day.

I love this local books and comics store! They have such a variety to choose from, with knowledgeable staff that can help you find any adventures you're looking for. There's posters and collectables, as well as great finds in the discount sections (: I usually come here once every couple weeks and I wouldn't go anywhere else. This store has been family owned for decades and they hold yearly events as well. Check them out when you get a chance!

We came here as out of towners on a pilgrimage to one of the best genre book stores around and were not disappointed! Great selection from sci-fi to fantasy, pulps, and comics, with some really great ephemera too. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair. I just wish we lived locally!

Love this place. I used to live nearby and I visit whenever I'm in the area. Great selection of new releases for fantasy, horror, sci-fi and graphic novels as well as used books. They have some toys/memorabilia as well. It's a bit disorganized with some boxes of books always sitting in the aisles, but that's part of the charm in my opinion.
