I like how the store is set up with lots of places to sit 🪑 down, read a book 📖, grab a cup of coffee ☕, grab lunch or breakfast, or combine a few of the activities. The books are all new 🆕 and there is a section for kids. Other items, such as stuffed animals are for sale. Great window seating. Wifi available. Cat 🐈 Alley Cafe is located here. The coffee and muffins are good! They also sell sandwiches 🥪, cookies and brownies. They have espresso and lattes. I recommend a visit.

The staff is great and the book selection is good. You will definitely find unexpected gems. However, the cafe has some issues. We've tried it a few times and had mixed results on drinks and mostly subpar baked goods.

Its a very nice environment cozy store front with plenty of seats to enjoy a fresh cup coffee from the café in the store with a book from the neetly laid out shelves. the employees are kind and willing to help with anything you need. The store is also incredibly local friendly with plenty of 603 products.

I stopped in to Bookery for the first time yesterday during the taco tour. I had NO idea a new bookshop opened! It is beautiful!! I was just there for a quick visit, but I absolutely loved it. The layout was great, the selection of books and bookish items was lovely, and the staff was so kind. I can't wait to stop in again!

Books, coffee, adorable setting = ♥️! I just love this place so much. It’s not very big so curating the collection is important, and they do an excellent job. So fun to browse the featured selections, hang out at a cafe table with a coffee, pick up some writing supplies and start the next great American novel (or journal to your heart’s content if you prefer).

Such a great place! From first walking in I felt so welcome, the choices of books and items felt like they were made for me! Really friendly staff, great cold brew at the cafe in the back, and great atmosphere overall. It’s the perfect place to sit with your coffee and just be present in the moment. Love it!

Nice bookstore with large children's sections which my granddaughter loved. There is also a cafe inside. Unfortunately the cafe had a delayed opening and by the time it opened our granddaughter had already used up all her toddler patience!

Had a wonderful time at the Bookery today. We always enjoy our time their. Not only do they have a great selection of books, but the employees are welcoming and helpful, and their Cafe has a nice concise choice of beer, tea, and coffee as well as soups and snacks. Today we were their for a children's book debut and were able to meet the author and have her autograph a book for my boyfriend's daughter. Highly recommend!

The Bookery was a great place to hang out while I was waiting for my flight. I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious. There were plenty of good and recently released books. Not a lot of comfortable seating though (since most of the building is filled with books, for obvious reasons). They take advantage of the first in the nation primary and have all the candidates books on display. Marianne Williamson happened to be there while I was there and the place was packed. I can’t imagine they would have the room for a more popular candidate (especially considering Williamson wasn’t even a candidate at the time). So if you’re coming to hear someone talk, come early.

Just as cute as it sounds! The selection for each genre is certainly limited compared to larger chain stores, or even libraries in larger cities/towns, but I believe there is something to be said for the selection being deliberate. There was a definite balance of classics, modern hits, and what seemed to be the curator's choice of most promising new release. I personally picked my purchase from the shelf of staff recommendations (each had a blurb of what made the book particularly exciting to that staff member) and it was definitely the right move! I am LOVING The Blacktongue Thief! I snagged a tasty latte from the cafe at the back of the store and took a seat by the big windows at the front to start my book. A very pleasant way to start an afternoon. The parking situation is the same as the rest of businesses on the strip, which is to say metered out front and on immediate side streets during standard business hours, and often a bit busy and at times stressful, but nothing unmanageable.

I LOVE independent bookstores! Even with a smaller selection, they always manage to have more interesting things, and this place was no exception! Two D&D puzzles, two Harry Potter pencil bags, a Mandolorian T-shirt and two books later (plus some coffee), we were happy campers! Thanks for an awesome experience!

This is one of the best independent book stores I've ever been to. The selection of books and products is fun and extensive. Plus they can special order any book you want. The environment is warm and the team is always thinking of fun new ways to create inclusive events and promotions to make everyone feel welcome. On top of that they have some seriously great coffee. The Bookery never disappoints!!

It's an adorable little bookstore with a decent selection and it has a cafe inside where you can get coffee and other things. Since it's small it doesn't have everything, but the staff are very helpful and they are more than happy to order a book for you if you need it. There's also a Staff's Pick section with books that the staff recommend, and each book has a little handwritten note underneath it that explains why the staff likes that book. I think that's a really nice touch and a great way to get people into new books. It's a great local business to support.

Love the store & all the books & such, but very disappointed in the Peanut Butter Bomb. Barely tastes like peanut butter & the chocolate cake part of it was very dry & lacking flavor as well... No thank you, especially for the price!

The cutest place with the nicest staff. It has a very open layout, which is great for reading, getting work done, or socializing. It's a nice mix of some quiet spots, and some louder ones! The book selection is not the largest, but this is in no way a negative. The books they do have seem to be carefully handpicked and are very diverse. Also, the cafe in the back is ahhhhmazing; I always get a hazelnut cappuccino, and it's worth every penny (not too expensive, either!).

An incredible place! Not only is their social media presence top notch, but they are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They now have a conference room that you can rent for $30 an hour that is clean, managed, and comfortable. It was worth the price just to get out and work for an hour or two. Highly recommended

Great place that is working hard to build strong local connections. The staff is fantastic, and the space is surprisingly versatile! One employee was saying that they've hosted everything from birthday parties to wedding showers, not to mention readings and other literary events. The bathroom also smelled a bit like bacon, which is always a good thing.

The Bookery is such a wonderful place to find a specific book or just to stumble upon one you didn’t even know you needed. I have been there a few times, and every time, the experience has been very positive. The space is cheerful and bright, and the ambiance is inviting. The staff are really friendly but never pushy. They seem to actually enjoy their jobs (and I hope they do!).

Personality and Charm The playlist isn't generic. Each of the booksellers contributed their favorites; so as you browse, you're getting to know the staff. Dolly Parton mixed in, was a super fun treat! Speaking of which! The staff picks, and themed tables have so many unique titles. It was difficult to choose just one. The cafe in the back has satisfying to-go salads (like Chicken and Anti-Pasto). If the conference room isn't being used, you can grab a coffee and snack, to read in the back room. Really a lovely spot. Walking distance from most of the hotels.

I was hoping for something like Gibson's in Concord, but the Bookery fell short. I went to meet a business connection for coffee but the tables are small and right in the middle of the main aisle to the coffee counter so it felt like elbows and backpacks were constantly swinging at my head. It would probably be nice if they changed the layout, but I don't see myself going back any time soon. For what it's worth, the menu looked intetesting, but I didn't get the feeling a sandwich order would be welcome so I settled for a $3 cup of mediocre tea. On the plus side, the meeting space is nice. I've been there for other events and the conference room comfortably fits a good sized crowd.

Its a great place to enjoy great food and share conversation with friend's, family and read a great book, plus has wifi. The Cook's give you just the right amount of food for a delightful meal and great BEER, never asked for wine choice, and the staff are very polite, i give it 8 Stars.

KID FRIENDLY! I love that about this place, I've got to say there are very few places for mamas out there. I don't have to go in, get a coffee or tea and rush out because my kids are past bored already. I can actually sit, relax and ENJOY! Plus my kids LOVE going here. We will easily spend 2-3 hours and feel like we've relaxed, read and played in a safe place.

Pleasant indie bookstore, much needed in the Manchester area. One of the few locations that stays open late until 9pm. Has a decent variety of books from various Authors and Genres, plus has plenty of events that are enjoyable to attend. They use a local specialty coffee company: Flight Coffee Co. For their cafe and they have pretty solid pastries and food menu. There's something for everyone here.

What a fantastic addition to downtown Manchester! We visit Bookery whenever we can and are never disappointed by the team, food, or selection of books there. Everyone on staff seems genuinely enthusiastic to be there and all are quite clearly avid readers (who are more than willing to trade notes or pass along tips about great reads you may have missed!). The mood is always really lovely there, and the kids reading room is not to be missed. This spot has quickly become a family favorite for us. My three kids range in age from 6-10 years old --one of them a bookworm, the other two love the games and shorter reads at Bookery. It's nice to have a place to go where all of us are in heaven. Thank you, Bookery Team, you are so welcome and appreciated in this community! Keep up the great work!

What a great addition to downtown Manchester! The staff are friendly and helpful, a nice diverse book selection, and awesome cafe in the back! Try the donuts, lots of different icing/sauce choices and they are a great shareable snack while you read. They have something for everyone, dedicated children's area, seating by the windows so you can people watch, and they have a varied schedule of live events. Check it out!

I asked the cashier if he would mind recommending something and he took the time to look up some titles based on a description of what I generally like to read. He guided me towards an amazing dystopian society story I've never heard of. I'm so glad he took the time to find the perfect book for me! 10/10 would spend a lazy Sunday here

Never underestimate the importance of having a local book store. They're as important as public libraries. In particular, the Bookery has a great staff of people who really understand what they are doing and love books. Automatically that qualifies them as good people. The fact that they serve food is an added bonus! A staple of Elm Street.

First I have to be honest that price-wise Amazon is still a LOT cheaper but what I love about this place is how it brought me back to when I first fell in love with books and reading. The ambience is cozy and does not feel commercial at all (the delicious donuts are a must try). The selection of books and other merchandise are also nice. Really great to have an independent book store downtown. I usually go to Gibson's in Concord because they are right near my work. But from now on, I will stop into Bookery to support my neighborhood bookstore! It's really bright and clean inside, has a great kids area (coloring pages!!), has coffee and food, and lots of wonderful books.

We ate at the cafe part. We had a large party and the tables are just scattered around the bookstore, so unfortunately we couldn't all sit together. We ordered on a little kiosk and it was a little confusing because there was no receipt, but they called me by name fairly quickly. I had the chicken salad sandwich on cibatta bread and it was very good. My husband had a BLT. He said he wished it were toasted. He also had wanted a regular water bottle, but we didn't see that on the menu. We both had root beer.

Definitely more expensive than a chain bookstore, but the atmosphere and products (in my opinion) is more interesting. The food is very good. Love their displays and always want to leave with more books.

Although it was small, limiting the selections, the great customer service is really the best of this place.
