One of the best comic book stores I've been to. They have a good amount of back issues available. Not only that, but they even organize their bargain sections which I rarely see. I bought a bunch of stuff when I went and I hope to do the same again next time I visit.

Pulp Fiction is great for superhero comics. You'd have to be stupid not to carry them because then you'd be out of business. But P.F. also carries plenty of manga, independent comics and a GREAT selection of used books! ALL of my purchasing is from the used section. I've been treated well and will continue to shop there till I move or they do.

Their manga and light novel prices are great! Used ones are half off the retail publisher price and new ones are 20% off. I've looked around many places and they are the best. Other stores try to charge almost full retail price for used ones and at most give you a dollar off new ones. With the new book prices they even beat Amazon. I only wish they had a larger selection

Been coming here for years. Good selection and they have purchased a lot my comics but for such a bare bottom price I always felt a bit gouged for a giant stack of choice main stream titles and I get like a dollar or more if lucky. Comics are awkwardly priced in the bargain bins which always leads to some bickering over price and I accidentally paid like 26 for a random cover that I didnt notice till I got home. The owner was nice enough to make an exception and has known me for years but it makes buying less than inviting. I still love the place but got to be honest about the used comics.

This is a fantastic comic book shop! A large selection of graphic novels and they're always on sale! You can get your weekly comics and they have some cool toys and stuff. You can always find something good for super cheap in their second hand graphic novel section. The only reason this isnt my main shop is because it's a little far but if my main shop is missing anything, they're where I go next! The staff is always super nice when i call to ask them to hold a book for me.

The amount of comics, mangas, and similar reading material is astounding. By far the biggest collection in the city. However, they do lack some things that other places provide, such as a plastic cover with cardboard for single issues. However, the positives vastly outweigh this with a store wide discount on all graphic novels ($8 off a $24 book in my case) and the fact that they buy comics. Overall this is a great place for both new and returning readers and I would highly recommend checking it out.

The deals in this place are so good I don't know how they stay in business. Something like 40% off graphic novels and 10-25% off depending on how many books you have in your pull list. On top of that they have other deals on new comics too. Not just that but the staff was really great too! I was helped by a guy named Ryan and he couldn't have been nicer or more patient. Keep up the good work guys! They have a good selection of mana too.

My comic Togo place here. Very comfy to shop, and the collection is amazing here. Price is very reason with big discount on Marcel & DC paperback. Worth to mention that they have a nice selection of used it new Manga. Time flies when you shop in there, come check it out soon!

I have been buying comics weekly for 10 years now and Pulp Fiction in Culver City is quite possibly my favorite comic shop I have ever regularly shopped at. They offer great deals on new books, as well as pull list subscriptions and their all day every day deals on trades (40% off Marvel and DC). Staff is super friendly, even on a busy Wednesday, as well as knowledgeable and always willing to talk about the world of comics. My favorite thing about the shop is they are always well stocked. I can show up a day or two after new books have been released and expect to find plenty of remaining copies of new books.

Pulp Fiction is bigger than I thought it would be. I came here this weekend to sell some old comics. Didn't really get too much from them though. Just $4 but I didn't really bring a ton of comics in. It was more of a great opportunity to check out the store and see what they had. There was a young gentleman working at the store when I was here over the weekend. He seemed pretty nice and laid back. The store had more than just comics. They also had hardcover and paperback books. And you can also sell your books here in addition to your comics. They had the old stuff and the new stuff. As well as things that weren't what you'd think when you think of comics like Star Wars, Dr. Who, Adventure Time, Regular Show, even My Little Pony. Also, Pulp Fiction sells toys like Marvel Figures and those cute Funko Pop toys. It's a pretty cool store. Parking: I didn't check to see if there was parking in the back, or if you could park in the neighborhood since we found parking right in front. It's was metered parking but free on Sundays.

The best comic book store I've been to in Los Angeles. Friendly and knowledgeable staff can talk to you about comics at any level. Great prices across the board - discounts on all trades, as well as featured new titles; cheap used books and back issues. Author and artist signings. Gaming space. Metered parking in front, plenty of free parking on the side streets. Love to pick up my pull list here, then go to Tanner's down the block to read with a cup of coffee.

As a woman who got into comics in her 20's let me tell you: not all comics shops are fun, accepting places. THIS ONE IS! The staff & owner are all wonderful and the store is great--huge selection of mainstream and indy comics across genres, as well as a manga section, lots of bargain boxes of back issues and a ton of figures/collectables. Every question or concern I've ever had in more than a year and a half of mainting a pull list here has been handled quickly and easily, and they've been great about tracking down issues that I missed (through my mistakes not theirs!). Bonus: sometimes there is a really awesome dog (belongs to owner) dressed in superhero costumes.

I feel like Culver City has a wealth of comic book shops and this large spot is especially great if you love trades like me. I rarely follow comics from issue to issue and prefer to binge a series all at once. This place not only has every trade paperback you can think of, most of them are on sale, often a steal. They also offer regular current comics, as well as a children's section, toy collectibles, and a good manga section. Often I come in knowing just what I want but just as often I find something I've never heard of before and love.

they were very helpful and are very covid safe. they put a sign up at front door when too many people are inside and remove it when somebody is leaving. otherwise grate comics and a super wide selection totally recommend
