Store no longer appears to have this name nor do they host game nights or other events. Prices are higher than other local shops or online. Displaces are clean. Staff smoke cigarettes in the back with the door open which is very off putting as my son has asthma. The staff I talked to were friendly and would look up things they did not know for certain. Clean displaces and some rare items.

Went here on a recommendation from our Uber driver. Decent game store with a huge focus on card and strategy games, as well as collectibles. Not as many used video games as we had hoped for though; lots of reproduction cartridges and missing boxes. Overall worth checking out, the staff are super friendly and willing to answer any questions.

Great game shop. They have a great selection and helpful staff. My son was able to sell his Magic the Gathering cards. And I've bought several Settlers of Catan expansion pack here. My nephew buys all his playstation games here. And the statue and memorabilia selection is awesome.

A few years ago I came to this place and the guy there helping me was kind of rude and was making fun of me for not being able to count my money really well, (I got it wrong the first two times counting) but I came back here yesterday for some Pokémon cards and sleeves, the guy helping me was SUPER Freindly and understanding with my lack of knowledge when it comes to the TCG. I realize that the first time I went there was not a fair representation of this store and its employees. This place has Great Service and Friendly staff.

If you are an old school gamer, then this is the place. Old school meaning anything PS3/Xbox 360 and older. They also are a trading card game shop. They have everything from Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, to Digimon. I went there for card sleeves and a box for my cards. They have a lot of options. There are board games too. Some that you find anywhere else. They also have game/hero paraphernalia. It's like the old comic book stores of old but now in a gamer style.

THIS PLACE IS SO FUN I SWEAR Came here for a wii ac adapter and they have vintage consoles for sale, games, models, dice, Fandom merchandise, etc. Staff was super cool and very nice! Incredibly helpful and I recommend this place

This is the place to be for collectibles. My daughter I and shop here when we're in town and the employees are extremely friendly and respectful. They are very kind and this place is always stocked with something nice. I've never had a bad experience here since stopping by occasionally for a few years. Wii Play Games West has an atmosphere and look that I love every single time I go in. Everyone is very friendly and helpful for any question you have, whether it be card games, video games, or board games. I have not had a single bad experience in the time I have gone there, from Magic the Gathering pre-releases to casual Yu-Gi-Oh play with friends. This is the place to go to trade in cards, the staff was happy to help and checked my cards one at a time to ensure they had the right pricing. After giving me in store credit for some cards I had, I bought the playmat and cards in the picture. The staff helped me find a card not on shelves if I just mentioned it and was very patient with me. Their customer service is fantastic. All in all I would recommend this store to new players and old players of any games, and those who are looking to learn a game!

I like the chain as a whole. The prices are great and the inventory is unmatched. However due to one particular employee that works there, I will no longer be shopping there. As I became a semi-regular customer I noticed that one individual that works there always has a very poor attitude and sometimes even gave me the wrong inventory because he just couldn't be bothered to care. What makes this worse is the fact that after asking several of my friends that also shop there, I found that this individual is genuinely rude to everyone. It's a shame because everyone else who works there has been extremely polite and pleasant to shop from. I think it'll just be more peaceful if me and my friends just shop at some of the other gaming stores like, Little shop of magic, Darkside games, or Action comics.

Sometimes they can put the wrong disc in a case for a game you intended to buy. Just call ahead and be sure to bring the disc and case in question with your receipt, they'll fix the issue.

A gamer’s paradise, for a variety of types of games. The store is amazing, clean, and complete with so much you’d want and need for many trading card, video, and board games. What impresses me most are the positive attitudes and helpfulness of the staff in addition to a great inventory in-store with some excellent pricing and quality.

Spot on customer service. There's much more than video games here so prepare yourself. There are card based games, board games and table top as well. They sell figures, pops, busts and statues and really good prices.

Awesome store, very good selection of mini figurines for dungeon and dragons. Also very good board game selection. Amazing and helpful staff for both myself and my husband. He loved the magic the gathering section and was able to find some cards he's been looking for, for awhile. Lots to choose from, it's roughly same price we would have paid for games online from Amazon (if we were able to find them on Amazon to begin with, several games we purchased are only from other sellers, without prime shipping.) Will definitely be back again to continue to build out my family's dnd minis, books (so many dnd campaign books!), board games, and accessories for our various games.

Shop here often. Never had a bad visit until just recently. I had just got payed and had some extra money so I decided to visit and possibly buy a few cards. I spotted 2 out that I was interested in. The clerk said I'm not looking up any cards after 6. Well my only day off and I couldn't get there until after 6. Plus it was only 2 cards. 2!! Even if I'm not buying them because of price I will always buy something for the effort. Guess this business doesn't like money. Or perhaps my money. I get it if I walk in 2 minutes before closing. We still had a good 45 minutes though. New edit: I've upped my review from 2 stars to 4. I guess guy was just having a rough day. I get it we all have those. Been in there a couple times since and had good experiences. I think this virus is having an effect on everyone shops and patrons alike. Just keep positive people 🙂

I started miniature painting a little over a year ago during the pandemic and this is the first local store I went to for paints, minis, and hobby supplies. For miniature hobbying alone, they have a good selection of Reaper, Citadel, Army Painter, and Vallejo Game paints along with tools, accessories,, and basing materials. They also have a good selection of Games Workshop, Wizkids, Reaper, and other miniatures. Of course, outside of miniature hobbying, they have lots of Boardgames, card games like Magic, video games, some action figures, and all sorts of random geek stuff. One important thing to note is that I've always experienced friendly service. They also gave a website that keeps track of their in-atore stock. (If you are shopping for specific Citadel paints however, they seem to have items in stock that may not be on the website, so I would call about those to check stock.) I really appreciate this store and it is worth a look if any of this interests you.

Pokémon cards are great! One of the only shops that carry singles for sale. It’s a good place to shop for a deck etc. They also have an extensive And impressive board game and Funko pop selection and a massive selection of video games. Cons : No matter how much the purchase, it’s .50 charge for all credit card purchases and you must show ID. I am aware merchant processing gets higher transaction percentages with credit. But half a dollar is way too much. You may want to think about changing merchant processing services that can offer you lower rates. .50 cents seems like your paying for the charge, plus making money on the deal and it’s unfair to customers. Pricing out mostly on point, other than certain Pokémon boxes And sets that are being sold double the retail price. Celebrations bought at game stop (45) at your shop (79). However, I think the cards are falling in price again so it’s leveling out. Pros! What I said above, but also my son, left his tiny book of Pokémon cards at the shop one day. The employees were nice enough to actually look up my account, find my phone number, call me, hold it behind the counter, and gave it back to us. It made his day and you guys are amazing for that. They even flipped through every page to ensure the cards were still in tact and accounted for . It was very sweet and I’ll never forget it. Phone service could be a little more customer service oriented however, as I couldn’t get even a ballpark price on the phone for a game system . I understand you need to see it. You guys just didn’t have to contradict me and be smart about the process. Have a fantastic day. I will for sure shop here again and I hope this helps people that are interested in checking them out .

This is the place to go if you are into old school video games, anime, Pokémon, yu gi oh, or D&D. They have a huge inventory, fair pricing, and the staff have a lot of knowledge about their inventory and gaming in general. They also buy used gear for resale but have a discerning eye. Definitely a throwback to the service and stock that gaming stores had back in the 90s. Love this place.

Super helpful and frirendly! I really appreciate the attentiveness of the staff whenever you need some help or have questions. The game selection was wild, saw some titles I didn't think I'd see again, and I took a look at their section for customizing figures. I personally don't play DND, but I do Gunpla and it's a small, but good selection at a local store for some beginner friendly products!

I discovered this spot a couple months back when my step son wanted to get into Pokémon. They’ve got a great selection of cards, including Magic as well. Any accessories or supplies for keeping your cards on top shape. And that’s just the card section! The bird games, novelty toys, and video game section are all awesome, and the staff is nothing but helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you guys!

Super friendly gaming store to cater to the variety of different types of gamers out there. They have video games, to board games to card games and collectible items. Prices sometimes skew on the higher side but the staff is nice and ultra knowledgeable about everything in the store. If you have any gaming related needs, this is a store people should check out. They also do trades and credit like GameSpot. Recommended for all people who enjoy a variety of games. Store size will surprise you.

They have a plethora of vintage games, card, and table top games. Prices are on par with most of other game stores and ebay. Large selection of card and table top games and accessories. The selection of "board" games is excellent and well stocked. Good select of fandom collectables and merch. One down side might be that the staff in different sections don't seem able to help you across stores.

Very cool shop. I was in the area for travel, and wanted to look through some old cards (Pokemon) to find a fill a few holes in my collection. They were very accommodating, even though a tournament was going on at the time, and set me up at a table to sort through their inventory. Multiple times they checked in and made sure I didn't t have any other questions. I ended up finding a good number of cards I was looking for, and chatting with the staff was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended, this place was absolutely worth the trip.

I had been recommended to come this location for an expansive board game selection and I was not disappointed. The sales associate Ryan was very helpful in narrowing down something that fit what I was looking for. While browsing I saw awesome posters, chess sets, action figures and video games. The store was vast and varied, I LOVE IT!!!! The selections on their games, both tabletop and digital, as well as their figure collection was great. Picked up a figure I have been scouring for as well as an expansion from a game I didn't know existed, SCORE!!! This is a wonderful place! They sell a lot of great collectibles, memorabilia, board games (a great collection), movie posters, pop dolls, old video games, pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and magic cards. They know their stuff on everything especially the cards. Seriously there isn't anything they don't know. If you need help with deck building this is the place to be. The other store is on Desert Inn and Nelis. It is also fantastic.

Just went to sell off a pokemon card to them and they were willing to work with what I wanted and were super nice and kind. I strongly recommend them if you like card games, old school video games, and board games. They also carry models and now legos.

We’ve had excellent customer service every time we’ve gone to Wii Play Games and today was no exception, in fact it was even better because today I brought all 4 of my very excited to leave the house children and the employees patiently answered ALL of their questions (and there were a lot lol). From older video game consoles to a wide variety of trading cards and comic book store apparel and feel from cool purses my wife loved to awesome magic the gathering cards I like. Been coming here for a few years now! Close to my place and always has something cool and geeky. Dragonball, Star Wars, Pokemon, Yugioh, etc they have it all. My most recent visit was epic, they had a Shining Tyranitar card that I've been wanting since I was a kid looking through Beckett magazines (circa 2003). A whole lot of nerdy goodness going on here. They have so much more than Wii games: board games, card games, D&D supplies, t-shirts and other accessories. Every time we go, there seems to be a group of people playing card games at some tables in the back. It's a really fun store. You should check it out.

Great spot for those who play RPGs too.. they also buy used gaming consoles, games, and merch... but very picky on the buy backs and offer very little ended up selling down the street from them for better prices.. very disappointing plus felt like they didn't want me or my kids business.. after that experience.. me and my kids dont go to that spot anymore..

The employees were awesome, I was selling an old game console that the pawn shops wouldn't think about taking and they gave me a fair price for it. When we discovered that one of the controllers had an issue with part of the joystick, they took it in anyways and did not lower the offer. Thank you guys. I wish the offer was a little higher on the games I sold them, but I guess that's what happens when they have plenty of the same ones. I sold them anyway. I looked around the store and it was like their competitor on steroids. Very impressive selection of everything vintage and new.

Had a little bit of a mix up with the Hidden Fates ETB I ordered, Brian was super cool about everything. Every single person at this location was amazing. I was greeted by practically everyone in the store, and asked if there was anything they could help me find multiple times. Superior customer service! You can tell they have a good group of people who work together and have a passion. Sandra was super friendly and cordial and she was actually the one who grabbed my ETB out of the display case. I owe her lunch, I have been missing one card and one card only for a while and that was SV49 Charizard, and I freaking pulled it! Could not have been happier. It’s going to be my go to place from now on. Surprised I had never been before yesterday. Thank you Sandra!!!

The staff are super helpful. Always asking if you need anything, and willing to search the computers if it's in stock. Great stock of minis, but could use more of the base classes. No monks! And a great selection of paints both Vallejo and Citadel. My only real complaint is the lack of brushes. The ones they had were battered and just unusable. Had to go elsewhere for that. They also have a great gaming area! Sorry to throw that in last, but it's kind of not that important as I do my games at home.

Awesome! Great detail to arrangements/ sections. If you are into collectors games for all the different systems throughout the ages, you will walk in and be in paradise. All games in great condition, original retro systems too. Perpherals are there as well, you will not be without options. Staff is insightful, corteous, and overall very helpful. Great atmosphere, I hope they stay around forever.

I'm still a bit young, and I haven't been to much stores in my life, but so far, this has got to be my favorite store of all time! I was only looking for Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, and did get a few sets that I LOVED, but there was a huge variety of products being sold, like thousands of Funko Pops, and many video games, board games, and card games. I was amazed at how big this store really was, and I gotta say, I'm definitely coming back for more than just Yu-Gi-Oh!

My husband and i came into the store a few days ago and we were greeted by a lovely young lady, I believe her name was Sandra and another gentleman who I believe his name was Ryan. We were in the area looking for accessories for our dungeons and dragons group back home! Let me just say! They have an awesome selection of figures, books, dice, and spellbook cards for D&D! Sandra was incredibly knowledgeable when it was about D&D and any other questions she wasn't able to answer she would know another co-worker who would and they did! Their staff is great,they know their stuff and made us feel like we could come back and would remember us as customers! Needless to say they also let us know about their other location as well! We do plan on visiting the other location on our next trip to Vegas! Thank you Wii Play games you made us feel comfortable with who we are as geeks!!

Recently got back into MTG. To me a good selection available for a new standard player like me pickup up commons and uncommons. 3 for $10 booster packs. Very friendly and greeted by staff. Don't know too much about the rest of the store, but they seem to have a side selection of board games and retro console games. Didn't see much of a MTG Friday night there but was informed that it was unusually slow that particular night. I'll try next time, but definitely worth a second visit.

I purchased a game controller. It did not work right out of the package. I called they said bring it back so they could fix or replace it. Sure enough they checked it was not working and replaced it on the spot. However, they checked it out to make sure it worked fine before I left the store. This place is top-notch. The selection of classic games is one of the best I've ever seen at a retail shop, and much more convenient than relying on eBay when you never know quite what will arrive in the mail. I sometimes go long periods without visiting, and every time I come back, the board and card game selection has expanded noticeably. Recently, I moved my weekly D&D group here - I DM for a handful of middle-schoolers - and the place has served all of our needs. Guaranteed space, plenty of mini-figures and dice sets and all other paraphernalia, and enough other gaming and anime merch to blow the kids' minds. Reasonable prices, snacks, outside food allowed, free table space, and extremely helpful and friendly staff make Wii Play my top choice in Vegas.

Found this place by accident on an anime run for my daughter looking for cool stuff. This place had everything. Decent prices as well. They did have some giant wall sculptures that were very pricey but to be expected because they were very detailed. Awesome spot for anime heads and comic lovers.

Best video game store in Vegas. They have everything here spanning all of gaming history including consoles and games. They also have disc resurfacing so don't toss your favorite game because it is scratched. Have it resurfaced. They also have figurines, miniatures, posters, etc. Lastly they do trade ins. The only downfall is the fee if you pay with credit. It is 2020 price it into your games. Nobody likes transactional fees.

So I'm traveling from chicago, and despite the numerous stores we have for collectibles and trading card games, nothing compares to the size of this place, their selection is amazing, and one of the staff members overheard I was a collector and with the utmost integrity immediately interrupted my conversation to let me know the games I was looking at where reprints and showed me where the collectors items were I don't feel like every store would have made sure to let me know so quickly and effectively I was looking at the wrong thing, and I can think of a few stores by me that would have sold me the reproduction carts knowing full well it's not what I wanted Forgive me for being old-fashioned but that alone made it a five star experience for me even if they didn't have Pokemon cards where no one else does, and even if the store wasn't four times the size of its competitors ❤️

Wii Play Games West is a great store for all of your gaming needs! I love their selection of board and card games as well as vintage video games, Pokémon cards, and dice and minis for games like D&D. I only come here when I need a game so badly ill pay extra for it, sometimes I buy games from here and come home and look up how much the games worth I found out I spent double price, they got some 3ds' that are worth 80 at gamestop that were selling for 120, if your ok with that then its a great store, sometimes there price for some 5 dollar games reviewed by the avgn were 30 dollars then they change it after I go into the store and say right next to the owner, yea they jack up the prices of AVGN reviewed games, they also sell reproduction clay fighter sculpturs cuts for like 40 dollars. but overall they are helpful, and they do want you to leave happy. they also got the hugest selection ive seen and theres a lot of stuff that isnt price gouged, but you gotta double check the price on amazon (+ shipping)

This place is fantastic! I picked up a SNES system, three games, two controllers and a conversion box so that I can hook it into my HDMI port. All of that cost less than $300. I WILL be returning for more games and to possibly get myself an N64. Everything in this store makes you feel like a kid again and I love it.

I take my three boys here once a month to look at YuGiOh cards and various other gaming desires. They do hold YuGiOh tournaments at this location, which is something my two oldest boys are training to start doing on Sundays. The staff is super friendly, never a disappointment in customer service. You can tell they have the customer's genuine interests at heart. Great place to purchase Collectables that are "New/Newer" for todays 12 to 22 year old kids into modern gamers items. Really not a variety of "Old School or Vintage", 1970's to 1990's, collectables that I saw at this location. I'm definitely an old school, native born, Vegas girl. Traded in my N64 and some gamecube games. I had about 10 "A" games. They even took the other crappy games. I traded for a xbox one s. I thought I was getting a new one because they were charging it as it were new. $249 for used no games. That's alright it works great and they do way better work then Gamestop. I also got some games. For being used they were in excellent condition. I really think they clean their stuff they get in. Unlike Gamestop where they just dust it off and put it on the shelf. Wish they had more variety of newer systems. Xbox One and PS4. I would definitely go there more often. It's out of the way, but I think it's worth it. Friendly staff. Good service.

Fret no more, finally someone with a business oriented mind used it to create a whole stick accumulation of everything in the nerdom! Anime statues, dice, cards, consoles, and board games, there's just no way you can see it all. Nestled between Nellis and Desert Inn, it is a haven for just about anything you can think of. I never knew there was a Deck of cards that were ScFi themed for Firefly! Employees are helpful. Prices are what I'd expect for a successful game and card shop to have, however most prices are market-based and I'm completely comfortable with that! Excited to continue buying MTG cards from them and maybe entering into the Standard or Tournament.

Wii play is a regular visit for me. Wii Play offers a good community and environment for many different tcg's and other types of games. If you play heroclix, or is interested in heroclix, I highly recommend going on a Tuesday night since the community that they have there is one of the most chill and friendliest I've seen in years.
