Avantpop Books has a high quality selection of uniquely curated books. They also have a lot of local art for sale, stickers and other items that make for great gifts. In addition to being a bookstore, they often host late night events around themes, such as horror books, music, cultivation, LGBTQ+, labor history and more with food trucks, artists, tarot readers and much more based on each theme. The owners are wonderful people and care a lot about the local Las Vegas community.

I know the owners Shwa and Sugar because they worked on a couple of videos to promote my web series. As a bookworm, I absolutely love their store! You can find books here that you can't anywhere else. I was happy to find a special edition copy of Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons), which is one of my favorite novels ever, at one of their events. I also got a good bargain on the other books I purchased that night, so it pays to go to their events! The vibe is fun, funky, and eclectic at their shop - you never know who you'll meet or what you'll find. Highly recommended if you love and support indie bookstores! 🥰🙏👽📚🐛

I love this store! Great selection of sci-fi, local writers, and artists, and all around great vibes. It helps that the owners are super rad and fun to talk to. I could easily spend hours amidst those shelves.
