This shop is great! I've been here several times and there's always a great selection of comics and trades. The racks are set up in such a way that you can see all the titles really well, which I really like. They are a little light on toys and statues. Tons of back issues in long boxes in the center of the store. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are in town!

It was very cool of the owner to notice my daughter trying to take a picture of Thanos through the shop window, he actually brought him outside so she could pose with him! Made this 13 year olds whole day!

This comic book store is the bee's knees. They have a nice selection of comics as well as manga. I wish they carried Dragon Ball Z/Super T-shirts and hoodies though. The employees are polite and very knowledgeable and I sometimes just drop in to have a conversation with them about upcoming comics, movies and T.V. shows. I definitely recommend this place if you have never been there.

My partner and I were very happy with our time in the shop. Good selection of stuff, the guy working was super nice and gave a good reccomendation of a book. We bought a couple of things we are super happy with. We will be returning next time we are in Indy.

Always a fun place to visit. Had a special order requested more then a year ago, but no callback. Understanding they had implemented a new Point Of Sale system, didn't have my order. But with good customer support, helped me find a decent to adequate replacement. Would suggest you visit!

The store selection is great. Nice stock of back issues that I really need to delve into. You'll always see me here on Wednesdays (usually)!

I love walking through this place, and I'm not even a comic person. Big selection of stories. Wonderful artwork, and very friendly staff. Sometimes I pick up some Star Wars or Indiana Jones (been light on that lately, but that's not their fault by any means) and I'm never disappointed. The staff always chats about what I'm getting and makes me feel welcome. Good spot.

I didn't buy anything, but was getting Christmas ideas for a 10-year-old girl. The staff member was very helpful (offered help but didn't hover). The most striking thing, though, was the gender power balance in their collection. I can bring my 10-year-old daughter here and she'll have good choices wherever she looks in the store. She could put any of their posters on her wall and I wouldn't cringe at the way women are represented. Kudos to the staff for making a female comic-newbie want to spend more time here.

I've been coming to this comic book shop since 2008. The owner is friendly and is happy to answer questions. They have a great selection of comics (both new and back issues) graphic novels, toys and collectibles. I try to stop by at least once per month to pick up something for my son, usually trade paperbacks of Jeff Smith's Bone series. My 6-year old loves them. It's within walking distance from my office and it's nice to walk to when it's pleasant outside.

Great selection in a very convenient location directly off monument circle. Friendly staff and commonly hosting cosplay visitors. You never know who's going to be standing just outside the door. They're also the best in the city for free comic book day.

The guy at the counter was knowledgeable and nice. The place was clean, organized, and definitely showed some care. I recommend a stop in here if you love comics! It's pretty close to monument circle so it's an easy walk.

Fairly new place. Been there for finding some action figures. It had some good Marvel Legends but no new waves. Even for comics I couldn't find what I was searching for the omnibus versions of Darth vader. The feedback was well received and the manager promptly responsed they'll stock some new waves in near future.

Awesome place with an amazingly helpful staff🤗🤗 After my family lost our home as child 😢 I stopped collecting comics because I lost some truly rare ones💔and desided to move on.but with introduction on the MCU that passion was sparked once again. I told one staff member I've been gone so long that you all should say welcome back (lol)😅🤣🤭🙂 and they did, needless to say I'm here to stay until the wheels fall off 😂. Thx down town comics for warm reception!!

Recently visited Downtown Comics for the first time. I am a bit of a "n00b" in the comic world, and felt slightly intimidated walking in. The girl working behind the counter (manager, owner, employee? idk) was very helpful. She asked me about my interests in novels, movies, etc. and was able to make some solid recommendations. I am completely satisfied and plan on returning. I would also highly recommend this establishment to anyone who might need help Christmas Shopping. The staff is very welcoming and willing to help an outsider.

Sadly, its not worth a special trip if you don't live right downtown. New comics are stocked but not a big selection of collectibles or Funko and the owner prices items above retail when you know he buys below it. One seemingly disinterested younger staff member. They should probably close it and beef up their other locations. I think its hurting their branding trying to afford a spot downtown.

Was staying in Downtown Indy. Checked it out. Smallish store. Fair amount of Back Issues for it's size. I'd say 90% of the back issues is newer & probably unsold monthly stock that has built up or transferred from their other store when this store's stock gets low per staff. They apparently have another store that is for the more serious "hunter" but they do carry probably every title that is published monthly so I started it a 3 star rating for that in itself. They did have a few "wall" books too. Lots of TPB. Most books are cover price. Wish I had had time to go to the other store. But it closes early for a LCS....I think it operates on "downtown hours" because my guess is most buyers are either working downtown or like me, staying downtown and found it. Staff was ultra friendly. I'd stop there again but only if I was staying downtown. I was able to buy the entire 5 part Lady Bullseye from DD & a couple of nice copies of AH WW books all for cover.

I always wondered how this place managed to afford leasing this space right off the circle, but when I went in for the first time during lunch hour on a Tuesday, there were a dozen people in the shop and there was a line at the register three people deep. They had what I was looking for and seemed to have a pretty good selection. The employees were very nice and very helpful.
