Need to save the Book stores. This is still one of the best places to spend time. Browse and consider your interests. In a digital world this is one of the final hold outs of the tangible world. I try to stop in whenever I'm at the mall and pick up something. Its good for the soul and good for the world to have books stores. Especially one like this. Friendly folks, no end to the menagerie of items for sale in addition to books.

One of the last great remaining book stores. This place makes you want to pick up a book again and broaden your horizons. Don't let this beautiful Art/ skill disappear. I highly recommend this store !!!

Between my regular tome-haunt and Books-A-Million, I much prefer the latter. Alas, there aren't any BAM in my part of the country....so anytime I travel and have the opportunity, I spend hours at BAM, easy. My favorite book store; great, friendly, knowledgeable customer service, tons of books, a large discount section with every topic... and cool toys, even for a big boy like me.

Needed out and almost had a heart attack with their selection of pop culture goodies. From Funko pops to literature, they had everything. Almost like Lunchbox on steroids (another great store). Apparently lucked out and got a new rare Little Mermaid Funko pop that's already blowing up on ebay and other shopping sites. Not on Amazon when I checked, but honestly, I'm terrible online shopper.

Well organized indoor play area for children, bouncing equipment for toddlers and older children. Also have rooms for birthday parties. Prices are reasonable. My only criticism is that it is quite dark inside. They also have arcade games

Was surprised we didn’t have a Barnes and noble in katy but this store has about just as many books as them. It doesn’t have the same atmosphere as B&N due to being at katy mills which is why they get a 4 -

Cute bookstore but is limited on what it carries. Most of my favorite authors are not carried in store. The employees are always very kind and willing to order for delivery to my house, but I wish they had in stock so I could just purchase in-store.

I needed to get a book for my kid's school assignment and only have a cpuple minutes before my shift at work. I called the store and they pulled it n held it for me until I got there so I could buy fast and go. Super helpful and super nice!!!

It's not a complete road trip unless I get to stop at a book store. Stopped on 5/11. This one is always a favorite stop when going to and from Houston. (We don't have BAM in Austin - can you do something about that?) The store is conveniently located just inside the #2 mall entrance, with a food court near by. Always a clean and neat store, lots of bargain books to explore and magazines that go across 2 + walls in the back of the store! Had friendly check out. Over hearing banter between employees while I shopped, it sounds like a great place to work.

I love this book store. The location is great as it’s off i10 in the Katy Mills Mall. The store has a great selection for my whole family which includes tons of manga which have been hard to find lately. The staff are very helpful and spend time figuring out what book we are looking for when we don’t even know the name. The managers are knowledgeable and helpful also. They also have great sales like buy 2 get 1 free plus they give coupons on the receipts and have a loyalty program. With the sales I spend less at BAM than I do at my local used bookstore. They can get fairly busy on weekends and the line can be a bit long but it goes fast usually

What a hidden gem of a book store! My husband and I drove all the way to Katy Mills from Tomball because we do not like the malls in our area. We stopped in Books-A-Million because neither of us can ever pass up a book store. They had a wonderful clearance section with wonderful deals, and their book selection was great! I was very impressed. They also have great novelty items revolving around the literature that fills their shelves. We will make the drive again just to go to this store. A Plus and well done!!

More than a bookstore. To me this is the only reason I visit Katy Mills. Tons of books of different genres, especially kids book selections, school study books, toys, stuffed animals (great things to have as the bookstore is very cool!)

The place inside is very spacious, filled to the brim with a high variety of books there was some good stuff in there I found and some very nice books the place was wonderful inside and there was also a yogurt cafe next to it if I remember correctly where you can sit down, enjoy the food and read a book it was a very nice place and the employees there were friendly and nice. :)

Love this book store. It is a great place to come and get lost for an hour or so. There is so much there. It makes gift giving so easy. I was there shopping for a birthday gift. The book I wanted is hard to find. It wasn't there, but I found a devotional journal very close to it. Went home happy.

The only thing keeping me from dropping 5 stars is they didn't have my book in stock. Great store. Will definitely go back.

I love the fact that they have more options here than Barnes n Noble when it comes to mangas and that says a lot. I really recommend this place especially if there's a specific manga your looking for. Also there membership is pretty useful if you visit the bookstore a lot or even order online.

They have t-shirts, comics, and a large aisle of graphic novels and manga. Also there's a frozen yogurt eatery inside this location which is kinda neat. This place is one I recommend anyone to visit.

I like the fact that kids can hunker down and study a great variety of books on a nice floor. The place is more teenager and family oriented with a touch of free serious material, but do not expect too much. So, if you take your kids there, they will have good time. If you are looking for professional material, this place is not your best bet.

Love this place! Been coming here for years and I've never been disappointed. Their fiction section is awesome and their manga selection seems to grow every time I go there. I also love that little t-shirt display they have in the back. I can't tell you how much I've spent there, but every dollar was worth it.

Like a Barns and Nobles. Lots of books. They didn't really have a section for African American literature for kids. You would think a section would be created for black history month, but No. You have to search for whatever you are looking for. But my son luckily found the book he wanted.

Great selection of books. Started coming here because there was no B&N close by. Now, it's become the first bookstore I go to when looking for new books to read. Definitely live up to their name! Only downside is they don't offer many older books from what I've seen. Been looking for more Anne Mccaffrey books for a while but I didn't see any at their store.

I adore this bookstore. The variety and expansiveness for a mall bookstore is amazing. I never walk out of there empty-handed. Friendly staff who know what they're doing if you need them but don't hound you about sales and push products. I always feel relaxed there. Love that there is a fro-yo shop attached to go chill out and read at when I'm done. Overall, nice place to spend a Sunday morning.

They have a wide variety of books which you can choose from to purchase. They have them very neatly divided by genre and have quite a variety of other products related to some of the top-selling titles. I definitely recommend it to check it out if you're in need of some books or gifts. They got from magazines to manga, kids books to horror, and cooking books to some nice romance. Staff was nice and helpful!

This place is amazing! It has an outstanding amount of books, comics, gifts and everything else in between. They have great deals on used books and other sales as well. There's also a yogurt shop in the bookstore. I highly recommend coming here to buy your next gift. They have a really great Rewards program as well, ask about it at the register.

We went for a book signing cookbook and the process took about 4 hours but the place was so organized it really made a difference. There was about 700 copies sold and the staff was on top of everything. Plus the actual book store has a little shop with snacks and drinks! Great book options as well!

Always a good place to go for books and gifts. Unfortunately they do not enforce any kind of social distancing. There are 6ft apart stickers on the floor for the check out but that's it. They do not limit or control the amount of people that are in the store at one time.

I’ve been coming to this Books-A-Million since the mall opened in 1999. I actually worked here and helped set the store up when the mall was first built, seems like so long ago now. But, I love this book store, staff is always on hand to help look up and find an author or book title, and they nearly always have what I’m looking for. If you’ve never tried Yogurt Mountain, a self serve yogurt shop in the back of the store, then you’re truly missing out... it’s really good, and priced by the weight.

I visited the store and came out with two books. I loved the range of categories available. The store arrangement was also nice. However, I was miffed by the lack of prices on the books or other means of checking. I got to know the price at checkout. Not nice! In summary, it was a good experience and would visit again.

In the last few years they've started stocking a lot of their space with extra items so it can be hard to walk through when it's busy, but overall I really like the place.

Typical retail bookstore. How they are able to stay in business with Amazon is a good question since their prices are much higher. Even Ebay has the same books for less than Amazon depending upon the condition. However, big store and a lot of books if you are impulse buying.

This was my first time in the store. It has a large selection of books foot what ever genre you may be looking for. My only issue was organization. Isles were labeled but it wasn't clear where to look for a certain author without having to look for 10-15 minutes.

The prices are good but I dont always find what I want here. I dont buy a.lot of books any more due to my e-reader but for certain applications I prefer hard copy(cook books crafting and pattern books) especially if illustrations are important.

Lots of cool things here this is not only a book store it is so much more: they have a variety of games, puzzles, & toys they even sell Neca items. The items here are alittle more expensive they also sell funko pops for you collector's out there and they do have their own exclusives from funko. There is alot to look at here not only in the book section but just on general.. Happy shopping
