Best experience of 2022. The store was busy and all the team members were working with customers and keeping the merch on the shelf. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Most of all the experience was so great cause those who work there know about the stories all the merchandise is about. It was so easy to ask questions and get guidance on the purchases. My kid felt like she was in Marvel vs DC Heaven. We got posters for movies that haven't even came put yet and she was excited. We asked the guy to allow us to keep the cardboard cases as we were driving back to Chicago from Houston and he was so nice about it. We spent way more than planned but my 15yr old was happy and so worth it.

Bedrock City Comic’s is a great place to feed your inner nerd. The employees at Bedrock are super nice and very helpful. A great atmosphere to lose yourself for hours. I spent a lot of money on items that reminded me of my childhood collecting comics. I am glad I do not stay close to this Bedrock location. I probably would go broke. Lol

Love coming to this place! We always spend money when we come in. The vibe is always welcoming and laid back. The girl who helped us is always very nice. Her hair is amazingly purple and her makeup was beautifully done! She's very sweet. Will definitely be coming in and this place is highly recommended by me, my husband and kids!

I this place is amazing! They have a tremendous selection of comics, graphic novels, toys, apparel, statues, games, and models. Perfect for gifts or enthusiasts. The staff is very knowledgeable and are fans themselves. They are set apart from other stores in the area because of their organization, cleanliness, and the store is well lit. I don't discourage against visiting other stores because every store has something different, but this is the cleanest and best organized.

The staff is friendly and there are lots of comics amongst other things like SIDESHOW 1/6 Scale Action Figures, Hot Toyz, Mezco, Marvel Select,NECA and many more. It's right at the corner of Westheimer and Voss/Hilcroft. They have lots of Deadpool items which I collect.

This place is dangerous if you're a Pop Culture junkie like me. My first visit I walked out with $100+ in amazing merchandise. The staff is awesome, always ready to help find you what you need, or let you know when they'll be ordering it next. They have an amazing selection of comics, collectibles and clothing. Perfect place to find geeky gifts, or spend an afternoon browsing. The store is clean and usually pretty quiet. I avoid going in close to gifting holidays, because it gets a little hectic. But I make up for it the rest of the year. One of my favorite hangouts!

This store is huge comparing to the one just outside of downtown. I didn’t manage to find anything I wanted (Hot Toys), but if you just want to shop about I’m sure you’ll find something to bring home. Everyone that worked there were very polite and asked me if I needed any help. All in all a great place for a comic book or superhero fan!

Ive been to the westheimer store before and their employees are always nice and super helpful. However, I have to give a special shout out to Connor who helped me pick out all my christmas gifts for my family. He took the time to listen as I tried to figure out what gifts to get he was very involved with the process without being intrusive. He also asked other employees for feedback and didnt pressure me to buy anything I was uncomfortable. Overall, he's a solid dude.

Very standard prices. Nothing scadaliysly overpriced, but don't expect too many bargains. There are 10 dollar t shirts and the like, but the price is correct for the market and quality. You will notice all the item worth more will be accordingly priced. There is a large amount of pop figures, however. Great stop for any collector.

I know I'm super late on saying this but, LOVE THE NEW LOCATION! I haven't been to this one in ages since I started going to the 1960 location but wow! Its beautiful and I spent so much more money than I probably should have buuuut it was worth it! The staff is super cool and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves "nerdy" stuff!

Staff is helpful and friendly. Lots of local events tend to happen here so it's a good place to keep your eye on. They tend to have good sales so another thing to look out for. Parking is easy and you don't have to pay for it. Located near a pizzeria so you can garb some food after picking up some comics or a table top game.

I have been a loyal customer for many, many years. I enjoy browsing, touching, and reading the information on their toy cards, boxes, or metal cases. However the main store puts a lot of their merchandise behind the counter away from potential customers and buyers. I am not sure why they do this but it bothers me than in order to possibly buy a toy behind the counter you must first ask for it and explore it while someone is looking at you. It's not conducive to buying their toys or even requesting one to look at while at the store. I like the store but this aspect is troubling.

great comic store! doesn't have that dark and claustrophobic feel that a lot of comic stores have so that was nice. a lot of graphic novels if you're in to that. no restroom even for customers. employees check on you a lot, which I assume is to keep theft down, but was still annoying. had a good selection of pop culture swag (tv/movie stuff star wars, star trek, lotr ect and some decent anime stuff for at least the big names) tabletop games is smaller and tucked away in a corner, and it was obvious that they are more into comics and merch but still had the staples (dnd and mtg of course, a few shelves of boardgames)

Also Funco Pops available. Friendly and helpful staff that not only know what information about what you are looking for, but have informed recommendations about other things you might want to read. Reasonably priced.

They'll call their other stores and have it shipped or on hold for you at the other location; which ever is more convenient for you. Bedrock has set the bar way too high for other comic book shops. The comics are very organized, the staff is really friendly (and knowledgeable), and everything seems to be priced pretty fairly. On a really positive note it seems like they re-bag and board every comic they get so they all look super clean and consistent.

It's a decent store with a pretty nice staff. I was given a little attitude when I asked for help, but the store was also very busy and I only saw 2 people working, so I suppose the guy I asked for help was a bit stressed, no biggie, I understand these things. Lots of stuff to look at, and a great many books to choose from. Not the cleanest store, but again, it was busy. Not as many gaming things as I had hoped for but it IS a comic shop, so I guess I can't expect toooooo much in terms of gaming. Overall I had a good time there and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Pretty spacious, which is handy for keeping 6 feet apart. Tons to read, whether you're looking to see the latest and greatest or catch up on some classics. Managed to find a decent sized Blade Runner poster for $10, as well as catch up on my comic collection. They make it very tempting to buy figures. Some of the statues are mislabeled, such as Jyn Erso being mistaken for Leia (Boushh Disguise) but ultimately not worth taking a star away.

This is my favorite comic book place tea shop in the Houston area. They have a few locations which I enjoy they also have the most variety as far as figures, clothing and pop figures. They do not have a lot of manga which is said however if you were looking for something I want them to order it for you all you have to do is ask. They also offer an in-store credit, just ask the management and see what you can do. When it comes to comic day it is the best place in Houston to go to they have all sorts of artist signing their books it's great.

Today I had bought 2 Gundam model kits, but ended up not being what I needed, so i had to go back and exchange them the very same day. Even though they didn't really know much about them, the staff there were as helpful as they could be, and even recommended that if I needed anything from the other store in Clearlake to just call them up and ask. I am lucky enough to live within 15-20 minutes of 4 comic stores, with BRC being one of the furthest away, the closest being less than a mile away from my home. I almost always choose BRC over the others, they have a huge selection so there is a good chance I'm going to get what I want when I visit the store. Occasionally, I'll have to go to the smaller, mom and pop stores to find a certain popular comic, but for the most part, BRC has me covered. The employees are friendly and helpful, and I love the ease of calling in to the store, asking them to place a comic in my box, and then going to pick up my subscriptions whenever I'm in the area. This is a great store for someone like me, who has only been reading and collecting comics for about 3 months now.
