enjoyed my visit when picking up gear. staff helpful and attentive. current protocols followed. fyi ... google maps has the bookstore located in the building next to the one it is actually in. also on google maps the picture of the front of the store is incorrect : it is not "balle".

Everyone here was very helpful and kind when we came in. My wife and I are from San Antonio, TX and they made us feel right at home w/ their hospitality. I want to point out that the lady that greeted us at the door, went out of her way to help us find our way around campus. We left the store and sat underneath the tree to figure out where to go when she came out w/ a map and walked over to help us. That was beyond nice and so sweet of her. I wish I got her name because that really meant a lot to us. Thank you again for making our experience so memorable!

The staff is friendly and it's quite convenient (not as cheap as just renting books on Amazon though). Also has a good selection of University apparel! Be aware that phone data doesn't work well when you're inside.

Lots of variety, huge place - you can even get tech support for your Macs! People are friendly and are willing to help. Sometimes hard to find/under-staffed.

This place has all sorts of goods that you can buy from a university store. Starting from clothing items like tshirts, jackets, hats to notebooks, phone chargers, water bottles -- everything is available with multiple designs and colors. Things are well made and are on the expensive side.

Hard to find, no students even seem to know where it is located. Parking lot is close, but how do you actually get to the darn thing? Once you locate this mystical place it is a treasure trove.

Good places for college students to get their supplies! Even clothes/bag/shoes and decorations for dorm. The only bad thing is the waiting line, because it tend to be long. Lots of tourists visit to get UH Merch. Lol

The UH book store is pretty big, and has most essentials for class and college living. That being said, if you can't afford the apparel don't worry. Walmart has cuter, cheaper stuff.

Convenient for campus living, they have some cute boutique items in the back. Textbooks are generally more expensive than online (although they're available in-store year-round). I find it's easiest to use the UHM bookstore textbook page to compare prices, then reserve and pick up any books I need.

You can literally buy anything here. Food, clothes, laptops, books, utensils, bags, hydroflasks you name it. Just be aware that the price are expensive, but that's any university bookstore. There's usually always a line to checkout, and they dont have plastics bags. So bring your own or buy one. 10/10 use every semester lol.

Good shop for some Hawai'i gear. Money supports the school directly. Just make sure your security tags get removed - I now own a pair of socks I cannot wear. Looks like I get to go back, probably not good for my wallet.

Prices are higher than other stores, for office supplies and most of the textbooks. The exception I found is the more specialized tools/ supplies I need, especially for art supplies. Significantly cheaper than any other art/craft store on the island, and comparable or better than ordering online. A 30x40 canvas is $30, and the cheapest I found at the other local stores is $70. Unfortunately, they consistently run out of these supplies that are required for classes, and are difficult to find, and take 2+ weeks to reorder.

Great university! I love how easy it is to get scholarship and research funding in here. My professors and advisors were very nice and helpful. There are a lot of free giveaways too, every time they have events. The only thing though is that I don't think student involvement is a big thing here. They have RIOs, but their requirements for a student organization is very lenient. Students for the most part are not as proactive when it comes to involvement in student organizations. I guess everyone is busy studying, but still, in my previous university, students in general were more active in terms of student organizations and community service. But overall, great school! I love that this campus offers a ton of services to help students in their college life-- Free Counseling, Legal services, Campus Security escort service every night, Campus Security trainings (life-saving, emergency training for calamities or for situations involving violence, etc.), great perks during Finals Week, movie nights on Fridays, etc. I feel like a lot of things are free here!

There is a university in the forest, so it looks good for research.

The general public can enter and shop. Of course, you can buy goods with the UH logo that you can't buy in Japan, and you can buy everything from T-shirts to mugs. UH goods are sometimes sold at Donki and souvenir shops in Waikiki, but if you're looking for an assortment of goods, you can't go wrong. If you have time, you can enjoy a little campus life at Starbucks on campus. It's a university, so the closing time is earlier than usual. We recommend going around noon if possible.

I went to buy a T-shirt with the university logo. As of January 2022, you will need to disclose your vaccination certificate and sign a declaration when entering the store.

I didn't understand the parking system, and when I returned, there was a yellow envelope. Some have $40 bills! When I asked a passing student, he told me to go to the secretariat in the basement of the building in front of me. Fill in the identification and remorse in English, and it is free because it is the first offense. I'm glad I apologized honestly. No backlash!! ️

There are a lot of goods from the University of Hawaii. The price is high, but it's worth going.

Although it is a store for university students, it also has a wide variety of university goods and souvenirs. What's more, it's cheaper than nearby souvenir shops. For students, backpacks, water bottles (including HydroFlask, which is currently a hot topic), rare stationery, and even iPads are cheap.

The University of Hawaii limited items are very rich and fun. From around Ala Moana (near target), it's THEbus number 13.

I went with my 6th grade son on a rental bicycle. It's a university on a hill, so it's tiring, but it's refreshing (laughs). However, hoodies and T-shirts are also sold at Walmart in Ala Moana and at airport stores. I think there was a slight price difference.
