I travel around for work, and I've probably visited around 50 comic shops over the past couple years. The Comic Signal is one of my favorites. They have a large selection of new books, and an ample amount of reasonably priced back stock. The owner, Don, is an awesome guy, and the staff is always willing to help you find what you are looking for. The shop itself has a great layout, with plenty of room and accessible inventory that isn't jammed into long boxes. Anytime I'm in the area, I always make it a point to visit The Comic Signal!

Was greeted soon upon entry by some of the friendliest staff I've come across. There is a HUGE selection of comics, from New and coming out now to some classics from several different decades. One of the best comic stores I've ever ever been in. Will definitely be coming back.

Great combination of friendly local comic book sure and tabletop gaming store. Very friendly and service oriented owner and staff. I ordered a game that I knew would take a bit to get in and was kept updated along the way until the game arrived. Very happy with the service. Beside the normal selection of comics, collectibles, TPBs, borderlands and TCGs, they have a nice selection of comic books targeted at younger audiences. My 6 year old daughter picked up a few items and saw lots of stuff she wants to return for.

Nice small family on comic shop right off of Plainfield. Lots of selection, including board games and TCG. Great staff willing to help you find things and if they don't have it they will order it. 6 or so tables set up for table top gaming, not a huge space but passable. Good atmosphere.

Don, the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Him and his wife run this amazing comic book store and have introduced me to so many graphic novels and Comics. I drive an extra 30 minutes sometimes to make sure that I buy my comics from the store. Do yourself a favor, stop in and talk to the owner sometime and you will see why this is the best comic store in West Michigan. Highly recommend!!!!

Great selection of comics. They have games, t-shirts and other odds and ends. They often have guests selling their wares. They have holiday parties for kids. My children got to see santa and get their faces painted there yesterday. The owners are really just the nicest people. They know the customers by name and go out of their way to get them what they need. Great place. Highly recommended.

I cant speak highly enough about this place. The owners, Don and Sherrie, are both such friendly people, they really make each visit a delight. Every time I come in they have my pull list at the counter by the time I've finished browsing, and I've always been given such a warm genuine hello. Aside from the amazing owners they have a great selection available that is really well organized. 7/5 stars

Don't know much about comics but they had comics start and for at least 50 cents and going up which was the price range I was looking for. The people are friendly the place was great clean and organized and helpful. I will be back. Seem to have several events throughout the year.

The owner/staff here is great and knowledgeable. I still drive 20+ minutes here as often as I can to pick up my put list even though I have a shop right around the corner of my house. They also sell stuff from local artists here and run tons of events for board games.

I love The Comic Signal. It is where I buy all my comics. The owners are friendly and don't try to play the salesman like so many other shops I've been to. On top of the latest and greatest comics or graphic novels, this place has got cool shirts, hoodies, and mad comic book/nerd accessories for reasonable prices. Honestly.... I love this place. I could live there if Don would let me. My kids and wife would miss me but I think I could make a convincing argument to make it my home. I'm just kidding or course. This IS a great store though. Don is super smart about comic history as well as past, present, and future story lines. He loves comics and it shows. I love that its family run. After my first visit I figured that because I lived in Hudsonville the distance wouldn't be worth my time. Not so. I was hooked day one. As the designated meeting place for our local science fiction club today, we were able to partake in the abundance of free comic books, take pictures with Starman, Catwoman and Speed Racer (complete with cool car).
