What a fantastic book store. So much to look at, could easily spend half a day here. I wanted a good book to read so I picked out 6 titles, sat in their cafe with a nice cup of coffee and picked out one. I love coming here.

Great selection, helpful staff, clean space. Books and magazines for people of all ages. Decent sized section for games and a large selection for children’s books. Employees recommended books are available. Always a lovely clearance section. Public restrooms are available as well as a lovely bakery/coffee shop. Free escalator rides!

The Grand Rapids Barnes and Noble reminds me a little of the grand old bookstores of Ann Arbor, such as Borders, or even the old Barnes & Noble in East Lansing. There is a fine selection of books and all sorts of Japanese toys and puzzles. I really like their selection of journals and Lamy pens. Highly recommended if you are in Grand Rapids. Be sure to have a warm brownie and read awhile.

A fantastic bookstore and the best Barnes and Noble I've been to in Michigan. 2 floors, packed with books and a very friendly staff. A great selection of magazines and large selection of clearance and reduced priced books. The 2nd floor has lots of books as well as LEGO and other children's books and toys.

Many of these books, a majority I would say, are from this store location. I enjoy the shopping experience here as much as any, if not more than other bookstores. The layout is nice and open, fulfilled, organized and multileveled. I have been able to find everything I have needed and more in this store, all while search other places as well. 5 stars for me on this one, hope every has a pleasurable time searching for knowledge at this here place.

It was one of the first places I went besides work to get used to not being at home when things opened back up. So I'm here not quite every weekend. I always enjoy it. There's a large selection and the underpaid staff have always been generally cheery and helpful.

It’s not only got books, but is the perfect place to read a book and sip some coffee or tea in the café section! Barnes and Noble not only has books, they have a ton of great game options! I wouldn’t necessarily suggest buying games from them though, unless no other places sell them for as cheap. This certain one was in the Woodland Mall. I love this book store pretty much always, but one thing I have mentioned to the employees is that Everytime I come here, the bathrooms are so neglected. Being a high traffic store alone from being in the Mall, you guys should seriously keep up at least once an hour on this. It bothers me to go into a public bathroom as it is, and even more so when the floors look like this in almost all the stalls. I seem to go here once a year between Nov and Christmas and it's the same every yr now for the last three... please step up the cleanliness of your facility bathrooms. Ty I will he back to ck again...

This is a rather large Barnes and Noble inside Woodland Mall. It has 2 levels. You can pretty much find any book you're looking for here. There are also places available to read books and just take it easy if you'd like.

I came here during a business trip with no idea what I wanted to read. One of the amazing employees suggested this book, said that she was completely consumed in the book within the first couple pages. I didnt have as much time to read on my trip as I had thought so the book just sat for the last two months. I just finished the entire book in 3 days because it was AMAZING! I don't know the woman's name who recommended it, but I want to thank her! I will be going to get The Letter Keeper now!

Really nice to see a Barnes & Noble again. Plus it was a two story one with an escalator and an elevator. Really amazing section for manga and graphic novels. Only odd thing was there was no pet section, there was a sign but no books, which isn't a problem for everyone but I was hoping to get a few books on raising snakes.

If I could leave more stars I would. Robin and her co workers just made my day that was collapsing so so much better. After driving 30 minutes for one of their toys i pulled in to the parking lot to my toddler falling asleep and he is not absolutely not someone you wake up. I called inside to see if they could find the time to run it out to me. I was told no problem and after they couldn't find it for 15 minutes she even gave me a discount for my wait. It helped this mom out so much to leave with what I drove all the way for with my son still sleeping in the back! Thank you so much I can not express how much this helped me.

It's a huge bookstore. My biggest complaint is the general lack of hardcover books in YA. I didn't ask about it though and I suspect they'd be able to order it if I wanted. Anyway, the store is huge, I wish there were better signs guiding you places but there's tons of book and gift and toy options plus a cafe. If it weren't the pandemic, I would've bought a coffee and plopped down to read.

I've always enjoyed visiting this location. Spacious store with plenty of chairs to sit and read a book while sipping on a hot beverage, or cold if you prefer, from the Starbucks located on the main floor. They have a large variety of books, magazines, and games to choose from. The store also acts as a nice area to study in as it is relatively quiet and they have multiple tables to set your computer on. Great place to sit and relax while waiting for dinner reservations to nearby restaurants.

The book store was great,so was the staff in the actual book store. However, the man serving/making our coffee was rude and off putting. It was not just to us! We watched as he treated a young lady in the same fashion. Needless to say we won't be getting coffee again.

This store was very accommodating. We had a school field trip here with about 75 kids and they were amazing. I learned a lot and have come to really appreciate this store more. The employees also mentioned how much they love working there and have a low turnaround. Great place to buy books, games, and apparently vinyl records.

As always, Barnes & Noble is a delight. This location has two floors and some pretty tall escalators between them, with an elevator option for those who need it. The selection is pretty much the same as always, but the layout is quite pleasant and everyone is nice. They didn't have the series I wanted so I ended up spending $150 on random books- it's basically a money trap to walk in.

I was searching for a collection of different books with no luck, after turning down help from one girl I realized I did need help, Megan asked if I needed help, and showed zero irritation with my lack of knowledge about authors for the books I needed and helped me pick out each individual book I had on my list. She was extremely sweet and helpful, as has every employee I've encountered here. I always have a pleasant experience. Great selection and if you read a lot, the membership is definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go to read, has a great atmosphere, large variety of books. The Starbucks isn't actually owned by Starbucks is owned by the Barnes & Noble so do not go there with a Starbucks gift card expecting to be able to use it. Overall though it's a great place to go, if you're having issues go to the lifestyle section, if you want to learn a new skill they have just about everything there. Happy reading y'all

Well the mall bathrooms are closed, but not Barnes and Noble's bathrooms! Saved a life, and always a great shopping experience. The paper towel dispensers released a ridiculous amount of paper towel. It really helps with avoiding touching anything. So good on you for thinking ahead.

The movies are still VERY overpriced as they are at every Barns and Noble, but if you dig around there are some great deals on movies to be found. I found Stargate Atlantis on sale for 50% off, and a collection of 40 John Wane movies for $5! So deals are there you just need to dig.

This store is well kept and set up in a way that's easy to locate the book/music/movie you need. The staff are helpful (albeit difficult to find someone free to help at peak times). I'm knocking a star off mostly due to bias. I'm not a fan of bookstores becoming hybrid mall kiosks with a large selection of toys/gadgets. The sterile, well lit appearance lends itself to in-and-out buying more than browsing for an extended time for a new book.

I can get "lost" for hours in an plain Jane bookstore. Books are awesome! And then there's Barnes & Noble. B&N has soooooo much more! There's neat games to check out, puzzles, figurines, journals, calendars, stationary, music, movies and TV media, SOCKS. They've got all the cool stuff! Not that most of us need any more STUFF mind you. 😉 My point is that I love this store. I love all bookstores. I recommend you go here. Maybe get some more stuff.

I always come here at least once or twice a week, and everyone is so kind. Very prompt and fun book jokes :) I'm sad I usually have to order books to fill in the holes of a series I buy because I'm the impatient fast reader who devours books for breakfast LOL, but the fast ordering and shipment to my house makes up for this with how timely everything is :) all my books arrive in pristine condition and within two or three days since I have the membership card (and that alone pays itself off with just one trip LOL)

The employee upstairs in the kids section was very kind, she briefly stopped next to me to ask if I needed any help. She was unobtrusive, yet there if I needed assistance. This is my favourite Barnes & Noble in the area. It's two storeys, with kids stuff on the bottom and serious reads up above. Thus, you'll certainly find a quiet space for reading if you want to page through before you purchase. They have a good selection of non-fiction, including Politics, History and Current Events, my personal go-to. There is also a good variety of the romance, horror, sci-fi and other novels you crave. Classics are available dirt cheap. If you like manga or graphic novels, they have plenty. If you can't find what you want, the Information Desk can usually help you order it or find it online. Sometimes there is a brief wait but usually you'll be helped right away. Staff are polite and efficient. You can enter through the outside door if you prefer not to get caught in the mall crush, or just as easily head out into the mall to do your shopping.

The Barnes and Noble store I went to is located at Rivertown crossings mall. This particular store was so amazing from the secound you walked up to the doors with its clean crisp and bold signage to when your checking out at the register with Associates greeting you with a smile to thank you for shopping there today and being extremely helpful with any last minute questions or concerns you might have. The atmosphere is inviting with a this is my own home type off feel where you can literally curl up get comfy and read a book. I personally love the fact that its stores are always in stock and updated with the latest releases and upcoming arrivals and with multiple ways they use to inform you of them is secound to none!! Lastly topping this place off is a fully stocked and ready for your order Starbucks for your convenience lmao to give you that extra something or that last little something to make the day go anyway youd like it. With of course a well versed and kind staff and a delicious menu. I highly recommend Barnes and Nobles book store to anyone looking for a quick buy and leave, wanting to meet for coffee with a old friend, or just looking to relax and read a little and then go to explore the rest of the mall...oh ya this particular bookstore allows you to allows do that Christmas shopping if need be lmao!! So please come check it out you be disappointed especially not with the prices but come see for yourself. I give this place a 5 out of 5 stars

I went to Barnes and Noble to look for books regarding the Keto diet. Upon getting off the escalator I was immediately asked by a friendly associate if I needed help finding anything. She showed me two areas; cookbooks and health related books. The Keto books were mixed in with Paleo diet books. There were at a dozen books regarding the Keto diet. A great selection. Overall it was a nice experience. I ran out of time and I am looking forward to going back and exploring more.

Thank God one of Barnes and Noble last stores is a good one. This location is in the Woodland Mall and is very big full of thousands and thousands of books, music, and more.
