Longtime shopper at Goddess Isis Books! I lived for years in the area. No store quite has the selection of herbs, incense, statues, tarot, and other resources for a wide range of spiritual and self-empowerment needs. Every time I visit, they've refreshed the layout and it's always an improvement! The best constantly gets better! There's a good selection of tarot books on the wall next to the tarot and oracle decks now. You can also look at samples from the decks available. I've moved to NJ and still order books from this store for my book club. They've thrown in a little thank you gift, too! Always pleased by the service. Everyone is extremely kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. This shop has an excellent track record for psychic readers and events. Goddess Isis is a treat for the area. Note: I am the author of the tea reading book featured in these photos. Goddess Isis supports a handful of local authors-- another reason to shop here. I also use the White Sage Tarot, shown in the pics, for my tarot reading business.

I’m reading some of these one star reviews and I have to comment. Fist and foremost, always keep in mind we are separate spiritual beings on a human journey, how you give or move in your energy/journey will impact your every outcome. At first coming in I was a bit stand offish and didn’t know what to ask for simply because I wasn’t knowledgeable to what my spiritual guides were guiding me to. Once I researched, within self, and then went back I knew exactly what I was looking for and I was embraced by those who were meant to help me. I didn’t hear “you have to choose for yourself”. This is not a doctors office, if your seeking someone else to direct you, then your probably not quite where you need to be on your path. You’ll find differences of spiritual tools here that aren’t made for you, but for someone else. Do your self work and you’ll know exactly what you need, it will almost jump out to you or pull you away from what you don’t need.

The staff is all very friendly and are willing to point you the right direction for your needs. There are album books with sample cards of each tarot deck so you can see what the art looks like before committing to buying a deck which I think is a wonderful idea.

I loved the variety of stones here. One of my birthstones is a bloodstone and I could not believe they had it. Both a free-stone (loose and can be put in your pocket) or a pendant (necklace). It’s like this for almost all of their stones. Probably over 100 different kinds of stones in the store. Different stones give you different energy. The employees are very knowledgeable. There’s a lot of astrology and witchcraft books to check out, as well as tarot cards. I picked up a pack of tarot cards along with a guidebook. There were so many options, I ended up gravitating towards whichever one called to me. I loved shopping here and wish I could have had more time - we had a buzzer to let us know when 30 minutes was up; and that just wasn’t enough time. Though I would definitely go there again.

I have been coming to isis books for such a long time and I purchased a ring here recently. It was a sterling silver ring with an aquamarine stone in it. I came in and I asked if they could possibly take it back although it had been after their 3 week mark for returns. Alana, the manager said she would allow me to exchange it because it was faulty. This store is my haven. The scents when you walk thru the door just calm your spirit and soul that you know you are safe within this space to be free to express who you are in your spiritual journey! Everybody who works here is so kind. They listen and find solutions and creations that you are trying to manifest. My only wish is that the hours were a tad more flexible but I understand that there are valid reasons for a retail store to limit hours. I am so grateful that we have this store in the Front Range area.

I've been going here for years and it's lovely each and every time. A diverse selection of books, well kept and well organized. The oil, herb, and incense bar here is one of the most extensive I've ever seen, and I love that they have someone behind the bar counter that will work to mix oils for you. Really, everyone who works here is pleasant and knowledgeable, they were able to help me with a good birthday present for a friend in no time. Delightful to chat with! Also one of the largest tarot/oracle selections of any store. Always love stopping by at this place.

A breath of fresh air! Rarely do I go into a new place that has more of what I need than I came in for, specifically Mandarin Oil and herbs for salves. These ladies were friendly, and even doggie friendly, a nice change from the norm. One of the best, if not the single best, occult stores I have ever been in. So many tarot decks to choose from, a wide assortment of books covering various topics. And I have to give them extra credit for not just shoving every book on magic(k) into one shelf under Witchcraft like I've seen so many others do. To top it off, they have a whole selection of vintage tarot decks, how cool is that?! The only thing I wish they had were used/new rare books. I really don't want to have to buy things on Amazon but some books are just too hard to find otherwise. I'll be sure to stop in every time I'm in Denver :D

This store is amazing! It has so many different things, it's unlike any I've been to so far in Texas. They have books, crystals, tapestries, statuettes, boards, decks, drums, jewelery, boxes, and the list goes on! The staff were very friendly and open to answering any questions and helping. I spoke with Sarah a lot and she was genuine, transparent, and incredibly informative! They do only allow you in for 30 min increments to allow for social distancing and to be sure everyone gets a chance to go in. This was ample time for me, surprisingly. Highly recommend!

They are really doing everything to keep their customers safe from handing out pagers to remind you that you have 30 minutes in the shop, to giving you hand sanitizer when you walk in, to taking your temperature. This place was great! We were expecting a small bookstore with a few crystals, but were pleasantly overwhelmed with all the amazing things they had. Lots of books, numerous crystals, baskets of smudging tools, and a whole wall of tarot and oracle decks (which I found one that spoke to me and I ended up taking home). Even some cute bags and scarves. Everyone was also very friendly and helpful as well. We'll definitely be back!

They have a huge selection of clean, healthy dried herbs, ethically harvested, and candles. Books on every subject of every path out there. And alter tools and statuary for every path out there. They carry rare talking boards and every single tarot deck/oracle card ever made. Jewelry, wands, physics on hand. It's like stepping into my own personal dream land. Just an amazing place. One of the best Metaphysical stores in all of Colorado. I have gotten many, many a thing from there. From herbs to candles to statues and books; they have it all. So many eat nicknacks and jewelry as well! The staff is always amazing and helpful. Due to Covid-19 they are having a limit of people inside and they take your temp before heading in. You get 30 minutes to shop to respect social distancing. Really super proud of this shop and I will continue to support them in an endeavor to keep them open. Go today if you feel the pull!

I always enjoy going to the Goddess Isis Bookstore. To some degree, you are transported to a different world or at least a different state of mind. The workers are very welcoming. Their system seems well set up for meeting our current Coronavirus restrictions. In the entry area masks are for sale in case you need one, as they are required in the store. At this time in June 2020 you can shop in the store, phone in an order for pickup or have product shipped to you.

The prices here are great! I really saved tons of money on herbs, essential oils and candles compared to the rest of the metaphysical stores in town. The jewelry selection is second to none and the prices are excellent too for real sterling silver pieces. I got a pentagram with an inlaid moonstone that I just love. Although Isis has tons of other products, their selection of books and tarot decks is what really sets them apart! No other store I have been to even comes close. I really enjoyed browsing through all the samples they have of every deck they carry. Did I mention the staff? These are truly sweet and helpful people who genuinely wanted to help with all the questions I had. There is a reason Isis has been around so long, they are awesome!

I also spoke with Julie who was such a breath of fresh air, she answered many of my questions and provided me with insight. great shop this is. when i’m able to, i will be purchasing many a few things there. they were very kind, saying i’m more than welcome to pop in and read and to talk and ask them any questions i may have. highly recommend this place.

They have SO much, I could spend the whole day and still find amazing things. Everything from magic supplies, divination/tarot, crystals and stones, paranormal books, music, candles for all ritual work, powders and potions, spell kits, pendants, astrology, and athames! You name it, they'll have it. They are helpful, warm, and knowledgeable on all matters. Non-judging, and polite. They helped find the perfect gift my S/O and put together an alter kit for me. Not sure what some of these negative comments are about regarding price, because they are reasonable and their products are quality. Not fakey showboat stuff that many online metaphysical stores sell. I also don't get why there are people mentioning that this used to be a mortuary. So what? The energy in there is balanced and non-threatening. There isn't a bad vibe there, and funeral homes aren't negative places anyway. I'm in mortuary school and have worked in funeral homes. I would have never known that about this place if I hadn't read it. There isn't a death or grief feel there. And it doesn't create an evil energy on their tarot decks, how silly for some people in reviews to even have suggest! I plan on going back soon to get a beginner tarot deck for my S/O. Well worth it for me. I drive over an hour to get there, because it's truly a gem in Colorado.

I really enjoyed the store and its selection. However, I had a weird experience with one of the employees. They make it very obvious that they're closely watching the customers to make sure that nobody shoplifts. I think it's an understandable practice, but at one point in time the woman who was obviously watching me lost sight of me and said very loudly "Where did that girl go?". It made me feel very, very uncomfortable, and made for an equally uncomfortable shopping experience. It's for this reason that I probably wouldn't return.

I've been going to Isis for many many years. I first went as a child to the old location. I love the energy of the place and always come for supplies. There are plenty of books (many topics), herbs, stones, candles and oils. They def helped me out today. I'm in the middle of a energy detox, and lately my energy has been all over the place. I asked for what would be best, and immediately was greeted with Nepali amber oil and a malachite egg. Instantly felt grounded. My energy feels much better now, pretty excited for the rest of the detox time. Besides that I almost always leave with a new oracle deck :)
