Awesome nostalgia and collectibles shop. Great owners. Be prepared to spend some time and money in there. It's worth every penny! They don't advertise and have been in business on South Broadway for 10 years. Great little niche if you're in Denver.

All the knick knacks & those lost toys you forgot you had can be found here. The most obscure memories you used to have can be unlocked with the pure vintage goodness this store oozes, and the workers are always delightful! A locally owned delight. You won’t find too many toy shops & collector goods very easily these days a wonderful as this one!

Spent a few nights in the state of Colorado; randomly googled “Cool places to check out in Denver” and this was one of the results. I fell in love with the store even before I stopped by. Thanks for selling me a new Sailor Moon plush for my collection! This place is perfect for 80s babies and fans alike! They have just about everything you remember from back in the day nicely decorated and displayed. We use to have a shop like this back in Chicago; love to see more of these nostalgic shops. I’m recommending this place to everyone I know who’s heading to Denver. The one thing that did suck about my visit was I happened to be in the shop with these other customers who kept making comments about my young age (27) being in an 80s themed store. They kept stating out loud and to the people working there, “Bet you guys get alot of business now thanks to Stranger Things”. Not the shops fault at all but kinda killed my hype.

Small store with LOTS of stuff to look at. Have to have a good eye or if youre specifically looking for collectibles then this is your go to. They had 80s candy too! Took these pictures for my sister to see so im adding them here too. They also had super hero figurines, poster, movies, cassette players. Oh god so many things! Def worth checking out.

Love this place!!! My wife and I had our first visit to the amazing shop a few months ago and it was the highlight of my vacation. Wall to wall nostalgia. I found a perfect WWF Hulk Hogan wrestling buddy for a great price. My wife found some Strawberry Shortcake stuff and some awesome cards. The selection this place has is stellar! The lady working was helpful and so friendly. We travel to Denver often and will definitely be making this a mandatory stop. My only regret is not knowing about this gem sooner.

As soon as you walk in they tell you to limit contact with product, which kind sucks for a toy store, but I guess I get it. Pretty cool selection of stuff, inconsistent pricing. Some stuff is very reasonable or even low, other stuff is 3-5x what you see on the internet. Everything was organized in logical categories. A lot more trading cards than anything else. Overall cool spot, worth a visit even if it's just to window shop.

I took a walk BACK in time! I found a pack of candy cigarettes, for me and my momma, to remember old times together. Memory lane here we come....when I make it back to Texas. 😁 Our kids wanted to visit here while we are on vacation and they were shocked by the stuff my husband and I grew up on. "WHAT'S THAT?!" "Come on momma and daddy, really?" That's all we heard from them. The lady there was very polite.

If you want to talk a walk down memory lane, this is the store for you! In a space of approximately 975 square feet, you'll find over 6,000 vintage toys dating back to the 80's, though some 70's and 90's items are there, too! They have He Man, Star Wars, and WWF action figures and trading cards. From Alf to Strawberry Shortcake and Cabbage Patch dolls, you can find it all. I will DEFINITELY be going back, soon! From the moment I walked into the store until I left, I had a huge smile on my face because it transported me back in time to when I was a kid each time I came across toys my friends and I used to play with. Also, the owner is quite charming and explained that they buy exclusively from people who live in the state. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to this store when you have a minute! p.s. Be sure to check out the website on a computer - it's REALLY cool!!

So much fun, a blast from the past! Bought some M.u.s.c.l.e. Men, Rambo trading cards, and vintage candy. They have everything you can think of from the mid 70's to the mid 90's (Arguably the best 20 year period). They have masters of the universe, G.I.Joe, Garbage pail kids, E.T., back to the future, Rainbow bright, smurfs, Atari, Nintendo, and much more.

Took my boyfriend here as a surprise because I knew he would love it. We spent about half an hour walking around and looking at all the toys and games. My family and I really enjoyed coming here. The people were friendly and they have a great variety of collectible toys. Brought back a lot of memories for my wife and me. We did bring our child with us but made it very clear before we went in that the toys were to look at/buy but not for touching. We didn't have any issues. Definitely worth a visit for collectors.

Great place to stop by of a piece of nostalgia and a great place to bring your friends and family to have a nice trip back in time. It really feels more like a museum than a store. Just left the store and had an amazing experience. I’m visiting from Miami and i made sure this was the first stop me and my family made from the airport and it did not disappoint. Great collection gathered by the owners over the years and currently. Their collection has completed collections of items that go together. All of their collections are in good condition. I re-lived my childhood and saw some things before my time. It’s a place to stop and visit for collectors and to find rare items.

Seriously, this review is writing itself. The store’s name says it all and will NOT disappoint. If you are into collectibles or just any totally awesome 80’s or 90’s nostalgia and beyond, this is a must not miss!! Bring your check book or what not lol…. Ok please don’t, even though this place is a time warp, and you might inevitably get lost in this very small but jam packed store, you must try hard remember what year it is. DO be prepared to empty your wallet though in this AMAZING collection museum. I’ll update with pics when I go back.

My new favorite store. It's got NES stuff, SNES stuff, Atari 2600 stuff, and Gameboy stuff. And that's just video games! They got framed pictures, clothes, comics, action figures, vhs tapes, cassette tapes, 8-track tapes, 38 lps, and 45 lps. It's amazing if you love the 80s. (Only took pictures of the video games).

Every time a friend visits Denver I bring them here because it’s one of my favorite places EVEN THOUGH the owner still won’t sell me just the tail off the Misty Locks doll since I already have a tailless Misty Locks doll. It was great. I found out about this place bc it was on Fox31 this morning. I went in and found vintage Bronco buttons for my Bronco poncho. A wonderful wonderful store, had almost all of the items I had hoped for and more. It is a small space, yes, but there’s enough in there to keep you occupied for hours. Very friendly and informed staff. Everything is reasonably priced for what it is- you may find something for cheaper on eBay, but there’s no guarantee that it’ll be in great condition like their inventory. It’s not a thrift store, they specialize in collectible toys that are in great shape and ready to go on your shelf, whether they be loose or MIB. Absolutely an amazing shop and I can’t wait to go back.

An absolute must visit if you're in Denver and have any ties to the 70s-90s. Walking through this place was an absolute pleasure. They had so many things that I remembered from being a kid, and other stuff I had forgotten all about. Just a pure nostalgic experience. The best part was the guy working there though (sorry I didn't get your name, man!). He was more than happy to talk about anything they had and give facts and history about it. Really cool dude who loves what he does. You can ride the light rail from downtown Denver and take a short walk to the shop. Truly a one-of-a-kind shop!

The store was very unique and I have never came across anything like this before. This review is very late, but I had visited for vacation last year in October of 2019.. all the way from Kansas City Mo.. and the name of the store was even enough to attract me, inside I found a wide array of vintage toys and collectibles I'd seen only in my parents description of their 1970/80s childhood. What stood out to me was the owners beyond hospitality and generosity. My girlfriend had left her purse in the bathroom, and we had driven about 25 min to our next travel destination, only to realize it was missing when we arrived at the aquarium. I called them even though the store had closed 30 min prior to my call, they called me back in 5 min on my personal phone and drove to me! They went out of their way on their own accord to provide 100% customer service. They let me finish my aquarium tour at denver and even waited for me to finish my sight seeing not only to bring us back the purse but to meet me at the front door of the aquarium with it. I am beyond thankful and very pleased with the amazing people who run a unique store. To boot. I even bought vintage Kiss Rock and Roll trading cards! And a let's rock button pin!

This store is a haven for an 80s nostalgic person like myself. Not only do the owners have great enthusiasm for their customers, I'm amazed at their knowledge of anything 80s. I mean, who remembers that red sculpture that sat on the counter at the "Over Our Heads" store on the Facts of Life TV show. The answer, Tony and Dede remember; and they even had the hard to find item at their store. I don't know a more caring small business owner who always make you feel welcome. A wonderful family friendly atmosphere, even my young kids get a kick out of this store. Every time I'm in Denver I must stop in!

I was born in 2004 so I obviously didn't get to live through the 80s, but I've always been way more drawn to the music, movies, and things from the decade. So, when I walked in here I nearly bought everything I saw! Their collection is very impressive, and if you like anything from the 80s, you will be able to find it here. I was able to finally find a Sports Walkman (with headphones!!) that works beautifully, and for an excellent price. (The owners even gave me a Mick Jagger cassette!) The highlight of this charming shop is definitely the owners, who are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. You can tell they have a genuine care for their costumers. The only bad aspect of the entire shop is it's an hour away!

Fifty Two 80’s is a must-visit while in the Denver area! Upon setting foot in the store, you’re immediately surrounded floor-to-ceiling with 80’s collectibles and memorabilia. This store's small size is quite deceiving -- inside lies the ultimate stash of classic and retro memorabilia that appeals to all ages! While the store's inventory is primarily from the 1980s, there are also items from the late-1970s and the early- to mid-1990s, which provides great diversity for collectors. This store is incredible! It offers a wide variety of toys, games and clothing from the 80s. Crammed with all sorts of stuff, it would be easier to spend a couple hours sifting through everything and walking down memory lane. This shop is worth a stop for anyone who remembers the golden age of Saturday morning cartoons, the rise of the blind pack and/or pogs. Feel like your welcome and rediscovering your youth! I hate to place attention on a spot that I found many things I have spent years searching for, but it is one of the few shop o have found that actually carry interest in what they sell. The shop is a little small, but items are grouped throughout store as best as possible and remember that is what makes it fun when searching for childhood memories. The owners are fair on prices as fair market value goes and you might find a rare hidden gem. The fact I was able to talk to a real person face to face about a purchase put me at ease versus ordering online and taking a huge risk.

Really enjoyed the nostalgia. My only constructive criticism is that I believe they should attempt to clean the collectables a little more. I realize that some dust can add to the "authentic feel" but we may have bought a few toys had they actually been clean. As it was we put them back. That said, they have a great collection and it's worth checking out if you lived through the 80's especially if you were a kid during that decade. They should partner with Grandma's House Brewery. There would be good cross-over.

Oh man what a epic find. I was born in 85 and walking threw this store was like walking through a time machine. Really gave me so many feels and brought back so many forgotten memories. Tons of insanely true to the 80s finds. My personal favorites ... Troll and my little pony and there were so many to pick from!!! Loved this little step back into time. Oh let me not forget they put a little 80s snack treat in the bag along with a trivia card and sticker!!! I got two pixie sticks!! Such a fun store. Even if you weren't born in the 80s you should check it out all the fun stuff you missed. 😉

Jam-packed with nostalgia floor to ceiling, this little shop is a great place to get a swath of 80s fun. It can be daunting to take kids there because there are signs that say "don't touch", but it's completely understandable due to the amount of vintage toys they have. If you liked a toy series from the 80s, chances are they'll have something to tickle your fancy. Prices are fair for the age of the merchandise for the most part, but some items I found may not have been well-researched and were too high.

I would have to say this is one of the best toy stores I have been to in a while. Such great collection from back in the day toys brought back a lot of memories. I made a special drive from Texas to this store since following them on Instagram, I had to see for myself the collection and what they had to sell. I couldn't believe my eyes, but I was able to pick up a complete in the Box Pee-wee's Playhouse playset from the 80s that have been looking for for a while now along with other items. Definitely will return I recommend to anybody looking for 80s toys or even toys that you don't see sold anywhere this is a must you must visit. Also the person that helped me was so polite. The shop really does take you back to when you were a kid, plan on spending an hour perusing. I had fun taking my 7 year old and hearing her say how we liked weird toys lol. Cool shop with 80s memorabilia from various different shows and movies (Simpsons, TMNT, Star Wars, Smurfs, My Little Pony, etc). They were unfortunately lacking in Back to the Future merchandise, but there were plenty of other things to look at. Store is not very large, but they pack in a lot of things. They have several trading cards from different movies and shows that I never knew existed.

I've visited this shop 3-4 times over the 2017-2018 span and it's always been worth visiting. Growing up in the 80's, I recognized nearly everything in the store and it gives you the opportunity to purchase items that were near and dear to you from your childhood. The prices are reasonable based on what I see on ebay and the stock seems to be always changing. The staff is helpful and friendly. It's definitely worth stopping in.

This place has a great vibe. The lady that was there, I didn't catch her name, was real friendly. Not everything is 80's, (there's 70's & 90's) but it is primarily 80's. So why 4 stars and not 5? In my opinion, I thought most of their stuff was over priced. I googled a couple of items and I could get them for quite a bit less. (And yes, that included shipping) Again, it's a cool shop to visit. It's just too expensive.
