Good book selection. It's one of the smaller Branes & Noble but does have a Starbucks inside. Definitely a pricey book store but the membership saves a lot. The employees are sweet helpful & make checkout easy & pleasant. Clean and organized.

Great store for everything book related and then some! Lots of variety and it's nice to see a sizeable manga section, especially since manga is more mainstream. There are a lot funko's too, so if you're looking for a unique one, I would check there first. I love the Harry Potter wall! That is so well done and has everything Potter related on it!

To tell the truth I haven't been to a book store since my oldest son needed a certain book that was over ten years ago and I recently went with a friend to find something. We go inside it's like I remember but upgraded to book city.

So I'm a little bias because I love every book store. I'm a #BookAddict! But I LOVE this Barnes & Noble because it's always clean, organized and the staff is super friendly and helpful! I spent a good time looking for books that appeal to me, when I went to purchase a couple the cashier saw what I had and immediately pulled a book out of thin air and told me all about it. I was enthralled so of course I had to get it. It helped that it was 50% off and just my kind of book. They have great deals and better customer service!

I ran into Barnes and Noble to purchase a few graduation gifts for two young people that work with me. I wanted a gift that would last beyond graduation day, and found exactly what I needed. I delivered the journals and a few add-ons with the gift bags I selected while browsing the next day. I will be sure to return and spend more time in this "more than a book store".

They for some reason don’t seem to have Magma in order. They don’t tell their staff to tell customers that they have no control on knowing when their books are coming in or not. I drove all over the place looking for the next book in series. Was told it would come in on March 11. Went back on the 13th. Than got told it would be there in May. When I asked so you don’t know when your books come in do you? They finally answered me. Really for a book store you should either tell people please call back on this date. We will see. Or we have no idea. It total waste of gas too drive all the way there across town to find out you never got it in. Plus your book store so having extra copies of series in the back might be a smart idea especially if you are having issues getting them. Most people don’t want to read 1 than skip to like 7 than skip again to 17. That not how you count. Could you try to keep on hand 1-10.

People are misunderstanding the point of a bookstore. You aren't there to do whatever on your PC, you aren't there to sit and read, you are there to buy books and occasionally CDs and DVDs. At this goal of buying books, this B&N location does this very well. The only problem is that they tend to be seemingly understaffed at quite a few times throughout the day, so their customer service is a bit slow, but I wouldn't pin that on the staff themselves and is likely the result of them being a big location with low hiring numbers. However, if your goals are sitting on your PC or sitting and reading for hours, just go home. I can 100% guarantee that your house or apartment has a power outlet and is quiet enough to sit and read comfortably, so don't be expecting these handouts out of a store trying to sell books.

Today I just found out that my local Barnes & Noble is open for curbside pickup!! I called to ask if I would be able to place a book order and get it around the time I was scheduled to pick up my Target order within 20 minutes 😬😬 I knew it was a lot to ask of them in such a short amount of time at last minute notice. However, the staff was absolutely kind and understanding! I felt very valued as a customer in the way that they responded, and I feel they exceeded their expectations! Now I have a book to read while staying at home in quarantine. Thank you so much Barnes & Noble staff for taking the time to adjust to my need at the time. I am beyond grateful! 🙏🏼📚

I love this location. The place is always very neat and clean. The sales associates are friendly and very knowledgeable. It's always quiet to and the lighting just right. It reminds me of a library you could just sit and read in peace. The prices are also decent. Overall I love Barnes and nobles and will continue shopping with them. Forgot to say the kids section is absolutely perfect and the have a wide variety including older children's book.

My daughter-in-law and I had a wonderful visit at this location. There were plenty of employees around that offered assistance, direction, and informed us of store specials. Nicely organized but shelves are VERY high, cannot reach upper shelves at all. Fortunately, customer service ate quite friendly and were able to help. I thought the books are bit pricey. Has a nice quiet area to eat and chairs look clean and comfy.

I end up calling this Barnes and Nobel maybe once or twice a week to see if they have received any Pokemon cards. They are ALWAYS super sweet about it every single time. I have to commend that because there is such a negative view of Pokemon card purchasers lately, and as a collector (not scalper!) I truly appreciate that they treat me with respect every time I call. Thats not always the case at other stores, where I feel like I'm always annoying them! Thank you for that, truly!!

Great store to buy unique gifts when you can't think of anything else to by someone who is difficult to shop for. I like the leather bound journals. And stationary selections. I also have bought bookshelves that mount to the wall and hide the Shelf making it look like floating books from this location. Always enjoy stopping at Barnes & Noble

I miss book stores, don’t you? Fortunately, we still have access to Barnes & Noble. Shopping there is always a nice experience. The stores are predictably clean, orderly and well-staffed. This location is the exact same as what to expect...and that’s a good thing. They also have a Starbucks and restrooms located inside of the store.

I've been coming here between my work shifts and getting a decaf coffee. Each time the staff greets me and will ask if I need anything, and the baristas are not just friendly, they have genuine conversations with you. I haven't bought a book, but I enjoy getting some work done while sipping coffee.

I frequently visit B&N. I have never purchased a book there. If you make your way past the two million books to the corner in the back you'll find the game section. While it's not the largest selection it's pretty good for a "book store". They keep the most current games. Staff is hit or miss on gaming knowledge but again "book store". Prices are standard.

This Barnes and Noble always has friendly staff and a great environment. It reminds me of a library. I stay and read books (idk if that's against the rules tho lol) It's always fun to look around the record area and the DVD area. They tend to have a lot of dvds than Target and Walmart in my experience. And right now, the DVDS are 20% off and some of them are $5. They also have journals, kids toys, and some Funko Pops and other cool things to look at.

I wish I could remember the sweet older lady's name, but after searching for a book that they didn't have, she took it upon herself to call the Glendale location right away and see to it that they held a copy for me. They’ve found and procured books for me that were deemed unobtainable at anywhere other than Foyle’s in London (with a three to six month wait). They did so quickly, conveniently, and even waived the shipping cost from the publisher.

There are too few bookstores left in the world. Remember Barnes and noble isn't just for novel format. This is a great place for coffee and snacks, study flashcards, board games and graphic novels. The staff is super friendly and love to help.

I no longer work for the company. I was employed there for 20 years, started at 19. I've watched this company evolve over time and have experienced good and bad times during the evolution & innovation. It was a good company, over time as management changed and they basically stopped "promoting from within" , bringing people from different industries- the organization faced hardship by this decision. From bad decision/deal with the NOOK, to various other decisions like shrinking genres not only the employees but the customers were affected! From low wages/low annual increases, a small ineffective HR( being small contributed to the ineffectiveness) to not really focusing on the people. Many mistakes have been made but through it all corporate still got paid well l, still received bonuses, while the employees wages hardly changed with the times/work load. I am grateful for my experience and wish things were different because this organization run under the Riggios thrived.

My wife and I visit all the time. The staff is kind and helpful, the pastries in the coffee shop are delicious, and the book seletion is excellent (I shop graphic novels in particular). Coming here after dinner for some coffee/dessert, then to walk around and discuss the books, is one of our goto date nights.

My brother and I come to this store. Its well stocked, organized and the employees who work here are very helpful. Also like the fact you can get a drink at Starbucks and get a discount with B&N membership. The only gripe I have the store is not at fault. My brother and I were reading magazines when a man approached us telling us he was homeless and if we can spare $. I told him I had no cash on hand and neither did my brother which was the truth but he was still hassling us. We got up, made our purchase and left but it took away the relaxing and calm environment we normally experience in this store. I was homeless myself and never went inside commercial establishments to hassle customers.

The book store was great, however, the HIGH pressure at the register to sign up for their stupid rewards membership thing needs to stop. It's so high pressure it's uncomfortable and not enjoyable. That rewards thing is NOT for everyone and when you say "no thanks" THAT SHOULD BE IT. UGH.

I love to go to Barnes and Noble. It is a real treat. I go get a fancy coffee then just wander around looking at all their fantastic books. I am an information junkie. But the fun does not end there because I always BUY books (sometimes music and gifts too) to take home. Brick and mortar stores are suffering. The internet is taking hold. It worries me.....too much isolation If we stop going to our local book store, it will be gone. Already I have seen sad changes with less books being displayed. I love going to the book store looking at all the new books, finding a discount book I had never seen before and selecting a magazine out of all the many that they make available. Sometimes I need help in finding a book when I do not remember the author or a title. Barnes and Noble staff are always helpful. If they do not have a book I want on the shelf, they will order it. Then you can pick it up or have it delivered to your door. Please think twice before ordering on Amazon. If you want a book sent to your house, Barnes and Noble can do that too. Support your local book store. They need us.

There were only 3 employees to help customers. It was also a Saturday. I waited in line @ customer service for 8 minutes b4 I could just ask a simple question. Then this employee was on phone (was a business call) b4 she answered my question, I asked about Mike Bayer's book, then she asked me to wait b4 she could take me to book. I said can u just tell me where to look for Mike's book. She did. I went and got the book, on my way to the register I looked @ books on t h e way to the register, I looked over and the employee was still on phone. There was another with a customer on the book computor who was with that customer until I left the store. There was one @ the register and one @ lunch. This one and one other time when they were short staffed both times on the weekend. I was frustrated with the store 2 times and I have been in the store I believe 4 or 5 times....normally I'm ok, however, the last 2 times have been frustrating and very annoying.

I've been meaning to write this review for a week. I LOVE this Barnes and Noble location so much because Holly from the cafe absolutely made last Thursday evening great for me and my friend who flew in from Florida! We had a terrible dinner at a local Pho place and decided to go for tea and pastry and we ended up leaving with some tins full of tea and cookies because she was so good at explaining options and making suggestions! Because of her warmth and hospitality, we ended up closing down the place, but not before I purchased a book for my friend on the way out! Hope to visit again soon. Holly deserves a raise! She's great at sales and customer service!

Over the years they have begun to sell collectibles such as figures, model kits, funko pops, items you really can't get your physical hands on besides the internet but without the physical part. My 16 year old grandson not only wants to work here one day, but it has been his goal since he was a toddler, seated in the reading circle. Bright and warm with the wafting scent of Starbucks treats permeating the atmosphere, it's very easy to drop by for a few minutes, and find yourself in few hours later, sipping coffee and discussing the newest book release with a brand new friend. Come in to buy a book, and stay for the whole experience.

My last three visits my friends and I cataloged the degeneration of their top tablet and it went from warp to bulging to near bursting over the course of weeks as the internal battery is sulfating inside. Its right as you enter, and we mentioned it to the employees.... just saying; its a terrible first impression.
