This place is part store and part museum. The people that run it are in it for the love of the hobby. I feel fortunate to have a store this cool in Columbia. Every time I go in there I am in awe of the cool stuff they got in since I was in last time. Beware though, especially if you're nostalgic on 80s-90s toys this place is dangerous for your wallet. But it's all really fairly priced. 10/10 awesome business.

This was a neat store. There was so much stuff everywhere. Books, Guides, Figures, Comics. Just a moderately sized haven of everything pop culture collectible. The guy behind the counter was very kind as well. Everything I looked at was reasonably priced as well. I stopped by traveling through but would consider stopping here again on the way past it.

Wonderful store with friendly service. A little light on trade paperbacks, but definitely a good selection of single issues. However the draw for me is the large amount of vintage collectibles they have stocked. Easy place to spend too much time in.

Easily in the top 5 of stores I have been to across the country. I say that because on top of the selection, the pricing is reasonable.

Love this store. Here is the deal. Free Comic Book Day 2019 is the last day for Heroes and Dragon at this location. The shop will move a mile down the street to a larger building and better parking. Honestly this store has been in my life for years. The original owner closed shop but it was reopened and honestly it is better than before. If you are in the area you need to stop by just to see the massive collection of GI Joe Star Wars and Transformers toys they have. Yorg has been great for the comic community and he has refused to let the shop die. Graphic novels are half off and they do a great job of keeping new comics in stock. I can't wait till the new shop is open!!

One word, AWESOME! It’s a comic shop, toy store, museum of nostalgia and so much more! This place is huge, organized better than most similar shops of its kind, and ran by the owner & his impressively cool compatriot; with such a massive selection, the only issue I have with visiting is controlling myself, as there’s just so much cool stuff to choose from! The perfect place to go broke and support a local business @ the same time ❤️

The gentleman (I'm sorry I didn't get his name 🤦🏿‍♀️) behind the register was very welcoming and helpful considering I came in 20 minutes before closing. He engaged everyone that came in with the same welcoming and helpful energy. He was knowledgable and searched for every single one of my requests. If it wasn't available, he made or brought similar recommendations. I came to the store after visiting their display at Soda City Comic Con. They were just as helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back! Sidenote: Shadow was just as helpful and friendly too 😊

We went here last weekend and it was a cute store! They definitely have a lot of comics, and several other older item's as well. We personally went hoping they'd have Pokemon items, and unfortunately they didn't. But if you are looking for some older toys, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Superhero Figures, Comics, more of that nature it is definitely your store! The employee there was very friendly, and they had a great sale going on! As of right now you have to wear a mask, just in case you didn't know. But I definitely recommend if you are looking for a cooler gift!

We try to visit monthly or at least every other month as we live about 1 hour from Columbia. This is an awesome comic book & toy store! My husband has been shopping here for many years. We don't have a good comic book store where we live and this is the best one in South Carolina. The people who work here are nice and we love to see Shadow. :)

Looks like your normal little comic shop from the outside but this place is huge! Tons of collectible figures, statues, a decent selection of Funko Pops, and a boatload of comics. They also have a huge selection of books, which is unique for comic & collectible shops in my experience. Ask about their punch card program! I live 90 minutes away but will definitely make regular visits!

The owner is so nice and cool.. I love this place!! Honestly it's the biggest comic store I've ever been to and they have such a big variety. There's something for everyone comic books action figures.. if you're a collector this is definitely the place to go or if you're just like me a regular comic book nerd this is definitely the number one spot to go to

It's a comic book store where you can find other than Comics a lot of neat action figures some brand new in the box on they have older ones that are sold anywhere from two to five and $10 all in great condition they're marked with a sticker on what price they are I got a lord Sesshomaru figurine a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts and then I got Mister Penguin from Batman the older picking up the Gotham penguin and it didn't cost me much at all and then they also have some other stuff like Nightmare Before Christmas Marvel DC it's a paradise in there for nerds are people who like actual collectibles

Was offered a very low amount of a chest full of vintage and rare comics. I passed on the offer. Although the employee did take the initiative to making it convenient for me by walking outside to my vehicle to look at the merchandise I was trying to sell so that's why I gave it 3 stars.

No stereotypical "comic shop guy" that thinks he's the comic book Yoda. These guys actually helped me find what I was what looking for.

We visited this place a couple of days ago. I was in search of some figurines for my sons birthday cake because I accidentally shipped the ones I ordered online to a different address. We really loved this store. They found us a couple of figurines in the back that were perfect for my sons cake, and they also had a lot of stuff to look at. I'll definitely be back to do christmas shopping. Helpful and exciting to visit.

Hands down best comic/vintage toy shop in Columbia, and it's not even close. Jorg, George, Shadow and several other fine folks absolutely bust their butts to make collecting as affordable and attainable as they can. If you want shops like this one to survive for years to come, support them and don't beat them up over pricing. Their prices are more than fair, and the more you support them, the more you'll find out they watch out for you as well. Several times I've gotten personal messages from the owner letting me know he picked up an item he knew I would be interested in. Not many other stores are gonna do that. Knowing the amount of time and hours these folks put in to this store, I can promise you that a smile and a polite word will go a long way! Thankful to have a store like this!

One of the best Comic Book Stores in Columbia. They have comic books, toys, and collectables. They carry most of the new comics along with some from local creators. Also, they have a discount program. It is highly beneficial for those who buy comics frequently and set up a Pull List. The area is rarely crowded so it is easy access in and out. If your looking for a small friendly local comic book shop, this is an ideal place to visit frequently. Their hours are pretty straight forward and it is easy to contact them and ask them questions via phone and social media

What an amazing store such a fantastic place to go and get all of your brand new Comics as well as thousands of back stock issues and harder to find classic golden silver age Bronze Age and modern books with an amazing selection of graphic novels and toys from all corners of fandom! The owner is an amazing guy in a lifelong nerd like so many of us and is extremely passionate and hard-working about what he does! The store is quite big I can't even detail everything that send it but they also have paperbacks hardback novels and so much more! Definitely swing by and check this place out if you're in Columbia!

The best comics, toys, and games hobby store in the Columbia, SC area. This LCS has more items than any one person can inventory. Heroes and Dragons also have Military collector hard back and Science Fiction hard back collector books for sale. Check out this LCS if you are local to the area or just passing through town on vacation.

Interesting comic shop, worth a visit. Decent selection of TPB’s and some hardcovers, with a lot of independent comics, most at half off cover price. Fair stock of back issues, and some Pops. An entire back room of Fantasy and SciFi hardcover novels, which is really cool and unusual for a comic shop. Friendly and helpful employees. Would recommend.

Staff is incredibly awesome. The owner's dog is usually the first to greet you in the store. His name is Shadow and he really likes to be pet while you browse a great selection of comic books, and since the new management change, a lot more focus on action figures and toys. Word is they'll be getting new comics weekly very soon, so this is definitely your best stop for a comic book or action figure in Columbia.

One of the best comic stores I have ever visited. The stock is HUGE and the staff is ultra knowledgeable about any series you can think of. There are special package deals and story arcs as well as a massive $1 room filled with goodies. Make sure to stop by if you drop into Columbia. A+

It's gone through a lot of changes over the years. I remember back when it was right next to Manifest, and then later in the warehouse location. I recall most of my fond memories where in the warehouse locale. Its newer locale is definitely an improvement over the smaller location at Boozer and they've done a good job at keeping their stock updated. You might even get lucky and meet the occasional comic artist there. If you're in the area and you like comics, it's a must-see.

Not sure where the reviews about rude staff is coming from but my wife and I went into this store with our two daughters ages 1 and 4. The owner was extremely nice to us and helpful. He let my 4 year old pet his dog and upon leaving while putting our kids in the car he came up with a Wendy comic and gave it to my 4 year old for free. I would recommend this place to anyone.
