Nice bookstore just opp google building. It was too cool 1 degree and decided to go inside the bookstore to sit and warm up before continue our journey. Boston is a nice city. And also best toilet. Super clean and smell good.

Nice store with MIT Press and a thoughtful selection of other books. Very nice architecture section. Kids room seems very good too. Thinner on philosophy than older versions of this store, though and I'd like to see more bargains. In very nice new(ish) location right at the Kendall T.

A sleek, modern bookstore with a great selection of titles. Well beyond MIT Press own published books, the shop offers books by many more publishers and some obscure ones too. The design + architecture section is fantastic. I was able to find books on Finn Juhl and Poul Kjaerholm that are no longer available anywhere else. There are cozy nooks to sit and flip through the books and there's a restroom upstairs in the same building.

Honestly can't wait til you guys open up again. I've been waiting FOREVER!! Edit: OMG, I can't believe you finally opened up!! Not gonna lie I first saw the bookstore when I was at Roxy's Grilled Cheese across the street. So I crossed the street to check you out, but by then you were already closed. I came back the next day, and lo and behold you closed up shop because you were moving and because of the COUGH. I was devastated. I'm so happy you're open again. I love coming in and picking up that sweet new-book smell. There's so many awesome books at this bookstore that I couldn't believe it when one of my high-end friends said that you also sold real MIT curriculum-level books as well. Interesting..... 🤔 Maybe I won't be needing to go to college and go into huge debt and become another statistic. 🤔 Or maybe I do. Because how else am I gonna be a high-level corporate baron fleecing my fellow man into oblivion??? I love you, MIT Press Bookstore. Thank you!!

Great spot to stop by in a rainy or snowy day. As you enter the bookstore you will see MIT press books at first sight. A lot of the titles were eye drawing. This store has nice journal and planner notebooks. The staff was friendly and I could feel their interest for books.

One of my favorite bookstores. Most books that are published are MIT Press only. Has a good selection of books on specialized topics so great for people very passionate about certain subjects. Fantastic clearance section as well.

Fantastic selection of books (and a large clearance section for cheaper but still great reads!) A great bookstore overall but readers with a deeper understanding or interest in a topic will be pleased to find books that are more specialized to their desires.

Great bookstore, even better in the big new Mass Ave location. Much more than just MIT Press books -- though of course it carries all of those. Strong selections in cyber-culture, architecture, science and society, .... A fun place to browse. NOT the place for textbooks, reference books, bestsellers, fiction, etc. -- that would be the MIT Coop, still in Kendall Square.

I love this store, and have come close to missing flights out of Logan Airport because I find myself unable to tear myself away from it on the way into the Kendall Square T Station. "Introduction to Algorithms" by CLR is one of the most important books on my bookshelf. And they have a very cool, minimalist t-shirt too. I hope this place never goes out of business.

This is a great store but sadly, when you can buy cheaper on Amazon (even after a student discount) it's just not worth it. I'd love to support writers and artists but I am a student (and sadly can't afford to)

Fun bookstore if you're looking for random, academic books. They're not all textbooks or treatise, they're plenty of books accessible to anyone. All the books are incredibly well-designed; they look and feel great in your hands.
