Love going here! Great selection, but weird pricing. I've seen used books that are marked higher than new retail! The explanation I got was that they got their average price from ebay. Not the best price indicator! Other than that, I enjoy shopping there. And they buy used books, games, movies... nice.

Great store so much more than books. Records,DVDs, magazines,games, and so on. having learned to read at 4 years old reading has been a huge part of my life. Something for everyone. Well ordered and clean with friendly staff it is someplace to visit over and over. Take your children there and get them started on the adventure of a lifetime- READING is the quest for knowledge!

There was one book series in particular that my daughter wanted. They didn't have it but were super helpful and said they could order it for us. Amazing service, quality and inventory.

Half-Price books has a great selection, and it looks like the store changes all the time. I'm looking forward to bringing some of my used books and browsing some more! What a great store so many books to choose from, and the prices for the books and all the items they carry are very reasonable, the store carries some real rare books, they have comic books, DVD movies, they carry play station, x-box games and also board games and puzzles . The Staff is awesome, and they know where to find the books you're looking for not just sending you off in a direction like some bookstores. They also take books in from customers This is going to be my first stop bookstore from now on.

A bit of a let down really... They have some good deals but for the most part they sell a lot of their good quality hardback books for the same price as retail... Definitely NOT "Half Price". I've only visited twice, and on my second visit I sold a bunch of good quality books to them. Some were signed by the author... However, the Cash offer of $8.00 they gave me seemed low for what I brought in. I was disappointed.

I hate buying books from Amazon and feeding that ugly machine, so I buy my books local and this is my go to store for that. Their prices are cheaper than Amazon or B&N and if they don't have something (rare), then I've asked and they've always come through. Great staff and great selection.

I love shopping here, I get older books and CDs for half of what I would online so the name rings true. The only downside is that you get next to nothing selling. Sellers: If you have dvds, vinyl, or newer books you'll get a decent amount, if you have the energy to go through your books and sell them elsewhere do it, but if you have more books than you know what to do with and just want to get rid of them take them here and get a few bucks (literally) but it's better than throwing them away

Going into a bookstore and exploring the aisles, looking at interesting covers and books you didn't know about is a MAGICAL experience. I highly recommend going and checking out the books. Buy some, read them, come back again. I went in for the first time last week on a whim and bought 3 books. Pricing is 1/2 price, but the experience is worth full price:-)

This is my favorite book store! Basically enough said for book lovers. Very helpful staff, great environment, some new books, antique books, some pre-owned movies and games. The shelves are well marked to know what section you are in.

An awesome book store. They deal in new and used books. There's books for all topics and a lot of different view points. The best part is that prices are great. They cost the same as any online retailer, and it's a lot easier to discover new books in the old-school stores.

This is a good used book store with a wide variety of book ranging from barely used to well used. They also have Movies, music, games (Board, card, computer, and RPG’s) , and some electronics. The store is bright and clean, the staff knowledgeable. I would give 5 stars, and they do deserve it, except for one thing. They buy books, movies, and music from folks but I am of the opinion that they don’t give fair market value. I took five basically brand new game books to them a month and a half ago. The total value of the books was $310 not including tax (Four were $50 and one was $60). Based off the name of the store and the condition of the books it would be easy to believe that they would sell the books for $155. I expected to get half of this, so $77.50, which would be typical and even pawn shops give that. Instead I was given $34.30, which is less than 12.5% of the books value. I was told that it was an algorithm that the employees can not vary from. I contacted the company through their website and was given some excuses about supply and demand. They could not even search their individual stores inventory. So the person on the other end of the email “couldn’t “ know specifically what the market was like(They are headquartered in Dallas mind you) at any of its locations. I happened to go back twice and shot pictures of what they had in that section and the books specific resale prices. And I was correct about how much they sold the books for. Further, they were sold out of the books that I sold them a bit over a month before. They stopped responding a month previous. So great for buying, not so much for selling.

I love this place. I almost didn't want to leave a review because I still feel like this place is my little secret to find lots of cool stuff and I don't want others coming and buying it before me 😅 But this store is too great and the staff too friendly to not share it with others. A great place to find not only books, but board games, video games, movies, music etc. Always something new to find. I think their prices on board and video games need to improve, but otherwise, this place is superb.

I love this store. There is always something fun about going into unexplored territory and trying to find that next hidden treasure. That is the feeling you will get as you pass shelves of endless variety. If they don't have what you were looking for they can even order it for pick up at no extra cost. The video game section was a delight as I got to relive some of the best years of my childhood. From Nintendo, PC and even some ps3 and Xbox games. Always something for everyone here. I go every weekend just to see the new arrivals

Tons of books, CD's, and DVD's. New and used. Comic book section. Sell your used books and media here, but don't expect to get rich doing it. Prices are good, their clearance section is great. Overall this is a wonderful store for anyone who loves to read, listen to music or watch movies. We will of course make the drive from Nampa to come back again.

Nice selection of books in the Christian section, but hardly any KJV Bibles. The other versions on their shelves should be filed under fiction and fairy tales. And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. John 8;32 KJV. KJV, the only true word.

Great selection of books. Disappointed that they are such mask Nazis that they wouldn't allow me to just wear a face shield into their store even after explaining that I am pregnant and the mask makes me more nauseous. Wasn't able to stay and browse as long as I would have liked to because I was feeling too nauseous with the mask on. I hope they change their policy to accommodate those who cannot wear masks.

I love this bookstore! Every time I go in, I end up spending at least an hour just browsing through the antique section, art books, and classics and never leave empty-handed. It's the type of place I wish was housed in a beautiful, historical, moody building so I can hole up in a corner with a coffee and flip through (and sniff, let's be honest) dusty old books.
