Barjon's Books is just the most wonderful place. The first time I walked in the door (1991-ish) it felt like home, and I feel that way every time I'm there. They have an incredible selection of books, incense, crystals, candles, and so many other items. But the best part about Barjon's is how they make everyone who comes in feel like an old friend.

My girlfriend, best friend, and I went here because we are all into witchcraft and spiritual bindings. The second we walked in we all felt welcome and calmed. I felt very safe in the building and felt wanted in the store. They have an amazing selection of crystals and books. They have beautiful candles and wonderful candle holders. I got an incense burner and it is beautiful and works wonderfully. 100% recommend barjons and I will be back often.

I have never had a bad experience there. Before I moved it was the only place I truly trusted to buy my metaphysical tools. The staff is always outgoing, kind and willing to help. Every time I leave is like my batteries have been fully recharged. If they don't have an item you are looking for they can either order it for you or point you to a reliable, trust worthy source to get it.

This is a wonderful place. The people who work here are very passionate and have awesome advice on all kinds of topics. They have a great book selection and a great rock collection. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is relaxing. You never get the feeling that you're a burden or unwanted and they don't follow you around however they are always there when you have a question. I love to just walk inside and wonder for a while and of course get a new rock because you can never have too many.

The owner was a sweet lady and she was very welcoming. If I could I would had spent more money and time there. The atmosphere was great. Thank you. This store is a little oasis of joy and calm. The selection of books on various spiritual traditions and the human relationship with nature is broad within its specific range of topics, and there is a fun section of children's books as well that has mindfulness-focused books that This House of Books down the block doesn't carry. I appreciate that these two local businesses support each other instead of trying to compete! Barjon's doesn't just have books, though. The jewelry by local artists is beautiful, and if you go in, you should get a demonstration of the singing bowls and ask about the meaning of the stones and crystals on display!

When I moved up here from Texas, I was sad that I wouldn't be able to visit the Witchery (Galveston,Tx) anymore since it was my main spot for all spiritual items I needed. I was extremely excited when I visited Barjon's for the first time because it was just what I was looking for! The staff has always been very friendly and helpful every time I've visited. They have a nice little selection of essential oils, books, candles, and I love that they sell items made by local artists! We found a gorgeous altar piece made by one of the students at the college and it made us happy to know we were able to support those local to the area. The shop has a very inviting atmosphere that will put you at ease, it's well lit, easy to navigate, and clean. Normally, I would think twice about bringing small children I to some of the New Age stores I've visited (small hands like to dart for the bright, breakable pieces a lot), but Barjon's actually offers children's items and seems to be laid out in a more child friendly way! (Still use caution, those little Ninja hands can still find SOMETHING breakable lol) I would recomend stopping by and giving them a look even if you're not into or familiar with some of the products they offer. You may be surprised and find something that catches your fancy- or the vibes of the place may just help center you!

My favorite New Age store in Billings, Montana... especially since they carry almost all my books, autographed with my personal signature. Sue and Jim (the prior owner) have always been wonderful to me, inviting me to present workshops on three occasions in their room designated for that purpose. The store has a great selection of New Age book titles, gemstones, gifts and focuses for meditation AND their specialty--healing herbs, since Jim is an amazing master of apothecary and all things natural! In downtown Billings, enjoy this oasis of light and love to soothe your soul and provide something of inspiration every time you visit!
