This is a great store for all ages if you love books and vintage toys and games. My children and I enjoy this store. They always leave with a few books and a small toy. They have reasonable prices and the staff is always friendly.

Amazing customer service from Megan and Tara. I was looking for specific book, I walked around inside the store and can’t find it, see a lady with books oh her so I asked and she said , “ I’ll be happy to help, please follow me at front” ... To make it short... She goes straight to the computer , ask someone specific question to another lady name Tara. Then Megan keep searching , then she found the answer . She told me all detailed informations.. I was so happy with a wonderful customer service I received from both of them. Looking for a book. This particular book store have large selections in regards books plus you will get amazing customer service,.. BIG PLUS! Check it out, They are located at Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, IL.

I like this place b/c of their prices & variety. Drove 30 mins in traffic to get here. But disappointed because their clearance was nulch & prices were really high this time on every little thing. Just could be my timing. I will look at Barnes & Noble first because it's closer to my house.

Best book store in the Fox Valley Mall! Of course, it's the ONLY book store in the mall, but hey... Seriously, BAM has a good selection of books and magazines, and a decent selection of novelties & gifts as well. Their staff has always been helpful and courteous and when they don't have what I'm looking for on hand they are quick to look up in their computer system to let me know if they have the offering at another location or if it's available online. BAM is one of my favorite stops when I'm at the mall.

Lots of cool stuff, and so much to look at. The two employees at the registers did not greet us and were complaining a lot as we were checking out but the guy who looked like a manager was super nice. Asked me how I was doing multiple times. Cool stuff not the best employees.

I take my kids here and they love it, so do I. I grew up with Borders and Barnes and Nobels in malls. I miss those stores and loved sharing the book shopping experience with my 2 youngest. So many great books, the employees are amazing and so helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend shopping here!

Not sure what's going but it's starting to look dingy. There were many bins filled with non-book-related junk. Shelves were mostly empty.

The manga section is HUGE. I was astounded by the sheer size of it. There is still a great variety of fiction, nonfiction, mystery, fantasy, and other genres of books around -- other than the manga. There are also collectibles and merch of sorts. Splendid place that has almost every book I'd ever want.

A rare find in a large mall. One part bookstore one part knickknacks. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are definitely reasonable for what they have on hand. I found myself lost in a sea of knowledge that I was not upset about. Truly something to experience.

They have some very creative gifts and at a competitive price. I looked up a few things online before buying and they had the lowest price in their store, though not everything. Still, if you're looking for a fun, creative gift at a reasonable price, this is the perfect place to go.

Very good selection of books, a nice environment to browse, and a good selection of things line Role-playing books and Manga for a mainstream store. Lots of collectables, and well organized. A fun store to browse. I'm surprised by the variety of their selection as well as how they include items I'm not used to finding at bookstores in prominent sections. Prices are competitive as well. Great place to bring a kid and find something to read.

It's like a smaller Barnes and noble. Tons of books of several different genre, from sci-fi, fantasy, diy, children's books to graphic novels. Along with that they've also got a lot of miscellaneous items varying from mugs, smaller toys and plushies, figures, puzzles, board games to some small cute decor for your living space.

Awesome place! Always take a stop here when I am looking for a present for someone. They certainly have some of those off items that you wouldn't expect. I agree with another reviewer, the prices are definitely a little higher however bookstore's have to do what they have to do to thrive and there is nothing wrong with that. Staff is very hit or miss as far as friendly customer service goes. Stop in you won't regret it.

I'm not much of a book lover, but BAM is an excellent book store with plenty of other cute merchandise as well. The store itself isn't very big, but their wide variety makes me feel like they've got something for everyone.

Need to mark sale prices more clearly. I was denied the sales price at checkout, and the cashier would not go to verify the price. As a result I left without purchasing anything.

I had never been to this place before my decent trip, where I was in search of a Christmas gift. They have a TON of different things, very much like a Barnes and Nobel. They've got a large assortment of books, any kind you may want, as well as toys, games, puzzles, and much more. If you're looking for ideas to help pass time for a few evenings, you'll definitely find something here that'll help.

It was very nicely organized and laid out well. Their products were really cool and of you are a fan of anything big like Harry Potter you're sure to find something you like! Similar to Barnes and Noble in a good way.

I love this store for the fact it has anything this nerd can think of in terms of reading. It has manga it has comics, it has.....Harry Potter. There are so many other books this place provides that I do it no justice. It even has online ordering, I recommend this store anytime you need or want to pick up book.

A quiet book store in the mall, next to Macy's upstairs. It's not a bad book store had everything we where looking for. I got a Ray Bradbury book. Lots of short stories. Just finished The Toynbee Convector, it's the first short story in the book, about a time traveler. And the second story Trapdoor, which will leave you never looking at your attic door the same again. Worth a look around if you want to step out of the bustling mall and into a story.

I really love books stores. Strangely, every time I come here I end buying merch and not books. This visit was no exception. Not that I don't look at the books. If I was more local I'd probably buy more books. They offer a reward program. Again, if I were more local I would do it. I walk out with 2 mugs, CAH bigger blacker box, and CAH expansion pack. Bought the box more affordable than other stores. I usually buy my unusual playing cards ( princess bride, labyrinth, etc.) there. This time I didn't see any playing cards.

Pretty cool books store. Its no Barnes and Noble, but its ok. The only flaw I can think of is there is lack of seating. I bought a Japanese book so far. The atmosphere is pretty chill (just needs chairs)

Nerd paradise! I have yet to find another physical store with so many of my interests under one roof. Books, manga/light novels, games, toys, candy...BAM has all the things I like. The store is clean, organized, pleasant to look at, and quiet. 5/5, can't recommend enough

Mall bookstores are going the way of the dinosaur. Fox Valley Mall used to have four bookstores, now there is only one. BAM occupies the area of one of the last bookstores. It might even be that bookstore because it is laid out the same way. The store has books arranged by age group and sub-divided by subject. Mostly paperbacks, but a few specially hard bound books published by the BAM printers. You could spend a long time browsing through the sections. It is sad that there are only a few bookstores like this one still in existence. Use it while it is still around.

I won't go if Melanie is working there. I've actually been known to see her at the register and put down my entire purchase and walk out. I get sales pitches and company policies about pushing paid memberships and whatever but 45 minutes is way too much. Haven't had any other issues with the place, it's awesome
