Overall, this is a great place. Only small issue is while they do have a great selection in general, much of their stock is old books. Would rather see a deeper selection of new books and games. That said, great store for sure. Good used options for kids and a great place to get a gift for someone who reads - the front of the shop is packed with little nick-nacks and gag-type gifts.

I've been shopping at Eagle Eye for 5ish years and I never leave without something I'm excited to read. They have expansive Literature, Classics, and Criticism sections, making them the best book store for literary fiction that I've been to in Atlanta, besides A Capella Books. I've also ordered two books from them that they didn't have in stock, which they were quick to acquire. If you're looking for good, grown-up literature beyond the newest NYT hardcovers and Oprah's Book Club selections, you can find it at Eagle Eye.

Friendly staff, HUGE selection with big discounts on it all. It even comes with several spots to read and a reading room in the back.

Nice and cosy place with some good deals on books. Staff are really polite and friendly too. Only thing I'd note is there's no bike rack outside so I had nowhere to leave my bike.

Great bookstore. Has a $1/2 dollar book stand outside where I found some good books. Prices for used books inside range from $5 to about $12/13. They have a catalog if you're looking for a specific reference and are always helpful.

Love this place! I can always find a used book in excellent condition for everyone on my Christmas list. They even have books that are new, not used and can order you a title if you can't find it on their shelves. They remodeled since the last time I was in there. The front seems more spacious. The staff is very knowledgeable. I always look forward to the Holiday catalog, full of book suggestions. And they have a free Loyalty Club program that rewards you $5 for every $50 spent. What's not to love?

Love this book shop! It’s a great local bookstore that can fulfill all your reading needs. They have a great supply of used and new books and other assorted accessories. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and helpful. Plus, if they don’t have the book you are looking for, you can have them order for you. In addition, they have numerous events like book signings throughout the year. Last year I had a cookbook signed by the author, Martina McBride, for a gift for my parents. Really cool opportunity within walking distance! Skip the Amazon shopping cart and support this lovely bookstore.

Tons of good books, both new and used. They have great prices, plus they had a wonderful 12 Days of Christmas sale going on. The salesman was very friendly and helpful. I bought plenty of books but plan to go back!

This shop was amazing!! Staff was very helpful and super fun to chat with. My brother and I had so many books selected to buy that they let us peruse their over flow in the basement and we found some amazing gems all throughout. Fabulous selection as well. One critique I will say, find better stickers for the books. Some of the stickers had been on long enough that they damaged the outside while being peeled off, even when peeled slowly and carefully. We look forward to visiting again when we go back to Atlanta!

LOVE this Independent bookstore. They are involved with the Decatur Book Festival and all things good in Atlanta. My kids grew up moving through "kids", then "young adult". Long live Eagle Eye.

My review & rating are based solely on the atmosphere and the employees. I don't actually know much about books or bookstores. They have a nice mix of new & used, and my daughter found plenty of books that intrigued her. Mostly, though, it's very clean, spacious, and well laid out. It just a nice vibe. And the employees could not have been nicer. Only relevant to the moment, but I greatly appreciated their safety measures given the covid times.

I love the atmosphere and the people! Everyone here is so passionate about learning and reading. You can get lost in millions of stories for hours. They also sell really nice book-related items, like magnetic bookmarks and reading lights. Coming back soon :)

I live in Macon and have never been to this bookstore before but came up for Andy Davidson's book launch of The Boatman's Daughter and fell in love with this store! Its got a mixture of new and used books, some I haven't seen on shelves in years (very cool to suddenly have them at my fingertips!). Its quiet and somehow homey - I felt immediately at ease being there. Great prices, lots of featured events being held there, and the staff members were so kind. I highly recommend this little book shop!

Great selection of new and used books. Staff was a mixed bag--one person was helpful in finding mythology books. The person who checked us out, not so much. She forgot to apply year-end discounts to my order, messed up w/ my credit card, and was generally inattentive to the task at hand. Over all, I came away from the bookstore with mixed feelings.

My favorite book store that I've found in town so far. The people behind the counter are very polite and helpful. I like the fact that I can find cool books here that I haven't seen a million times. One of my favorite finds was a large book on renaissance art. If you haven't stopped by yet I definitely recommend it.

Really excellent location! Right across the street from a gas station and several food places; plenty of parking. Has really good deals on books (look for the red and green stickers) and has nice staff as well as friensly customers! It's just got a nice homey feel to it.

Large selection, but we were hoping for a second hand bookstore. It seemed like most of the books here were new and cover priced. If I lived near this store I'm sure I'd frequent it but I don't see a reason to return. No reason to leave a negative review, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Quiet, cozy, and quaint book store with a large variety of options from educational books to age old classics to books written by minority authors! They also have cool tee shirts, greeting cards, and other things that are sure to make you smile. I will definitely go again!

Haven't been here for years. It's changed and does not smell like old books anymore. Found the book I went in to find. The bookstore staff was very helpful in locating the book in question! They even have a rewards program which I was informed of by the staff member.

The Eagle Eye Book Shop is a great place to find rare and out of print books! They have an excellent Children's section as well as an ample supply of Cook books and Sports section. They host venues every other week and their staff members are the most people!

Eagle Eye's my favorite bookstore in Atlanta. Great selection, and if you want something not on the shelves they'll find it for you. Pleasant, knowledgeable employees. Good location with plenty of parking. Events nearly every week. I took a writing class with author David Fulmer that was taught in a reading room at the store and loved it. When the dust settles in the book biz, I'm confident Eagle Eye will still be standing. Check them out - you won't regret it, I promise.

This is a nice little book store in Decatur. For its size, they have a lot of good sections and a great selection of books. They also have some famous authors doing book signings/meet and greets. They just had Daymond John from Shark Tank not too long ago. They're also having Dave Sedaris in the next few weeks!
