Trek is an awesome bike shop, the staff are incredibly nice and very helpful. They are knowledgeable on their products, I recently bought a bike light and phone caddy and water bottle. They have service bicycles packages for tune ups and maintenance. The atmosphere is great and the products are some of the best you'll find.

Thanks especially to Isabella today who didn’t judge my complete lack of knowledge of my own bike and braved the cold to pump my tires with the manual pump since someone stole the hose… thanks again and I’ll be back!

The service team there was professional, prompt and courteous. They fixed my squeaky brake issue in one go when the other shop I went to before couldn't in 2 tries. They also said that if anything started acting up again that they'd take care of me and that means they stand by their work. It means a lot in this day and age. I simply can't gush enough about Isabella, Jillian, Wolf & Jr. over at Trek Bikes on 46th Street & 10th. Was besieged with a bonafide emergency when the rear derailleur on my Specialized chain ring completely snapped up and ensnared itself badly into the cassette. It was a horrific mess and this Trek team couldn't have been more calm, cool and collected. While they understandably didn't have the proper replacement parts handy, they were kind enough to offer me a Trek loaner free of charge while they ordered it. All total I had the loaner about 4 days, and this amazing team truly saved my hide. From the bottom of my heart, you folks are the best! Thank you for your professionalism and kindness. I service my canyon bike here. So far my experience have been really good. They extracted a screw w/ a messed up head and they did derailleur and headset adjustment. Wait time for me on weekdays was usually a few hours. Employees are respectful and knowledgeable, they have good bike repair tips and the store is organized and clean.

Went in for a simple tire repair. They also did a safety check on the brakes and lubed my chain (I had been using Teflon that had washed off). Feels like a brand new bike! And the price was very reasonable. Had to wait outside until called and wear a mask and social distance but appreciated them taking it seriously.

There are 3 shops within a 3 block radius of my apt but I always come here. The staff is great and repairs are quick. I recently kept getting a flat and they replaced the tube twice at no cost since it was within a week. I’ll be back (but hopefully not too soon).

The shipping took a little longer than expected given the current COVID-19 situation, so a quick phone call to keep me posted would have been nice, but not a big deal at all. This location of trek on 46th street is a NYC gem. I bike over 7000 miles a year. i have been very happy with the service I have received over the years from this Trek location on 46th street. The staff is courteous and passionate about cycling. Sam the mechanic is the best bike mechanic I have ever had in my lifetime of cycling. i cannot tell you how many times i have gone to mechanics to fix my shifting or braking issues only to get a half a mile from the store and realize the issues are still unfixed or even worse. after working with Sam, My bike rides better than when i bought it. Plus He opened new ideas to me i never thought of to improve my biking experience... a store like this is a life saver for serious cyclists.

Like many New Yorkers during COVID, I was looking to invest in a bike to get out of the apartment, get some fresh air, and get some exercise in. Unfortunately, EVERYONE was sold out of bikes my size, including Trek that was within my budget. Any bike shop can change an innertube or fix a popped spoke. Not any bike shop can pull a total overhaul of an otherwise mediocre used bike into a brand new machine. This is one of those shops. Highly recommend it.

I’ve been an avid cyclist since the 1980s and had over a dozen road bikes. Four years ago I bought a Trek Edmonda from their Hell‘s Kitchen store. I’ve ridden thousands of miles on the bike without any issues. When my Shimano crankset failed I brought the bike back for repair. I was told the crankset it was under warranty and it would be replaced free of charge. Their service and knowledge are excellent. You’ll never get that through mail order.

I had to leave them a review. I bought my bike in China Town. Since then, I have tried to put off any changes as much as I can because a visit to a local bike shop ends up costing me at least 60 to 100 bucks including labour and taxes. I had to get a handle bar extender for the bike because it was giving me wrist pain... and was holding my breath for the cost estimate. Guess what? They were super fair. No random add ons or mysterious labour and parts. Go here. They are legit. I was up and back on my bike, riding comfortably in less than 10mins!

Trek only ships parts to dealers not individuals and I had some vital parts for my aging Trek Madone (2013 vintage) shipped to Trek's Hell Kitchen. Due to work, the only chance I had to get to the store was on a Thursday, just before noon. The parts hadn't yet arrived, but the store called UPS, found out they were on a delivery truck. Someone from the store got on his bike and got the part from the bike - literally going the extra mile for the customer. The result was a fixed bike and a spectacular long ride on Saturday - which is what biking life is about. It is clear that this store understands what biking means to its customers. I was also impressed by their weekly bike maintenance workshops. We all aren't DIY people - but we all should know about the machines that bear us. More evidence that this store understands the community it serves.
