Bought a bike online and wanted to make sure it was setup correctly before I rode it. These guys realigned my hub, did a full tune up, and converted my tires to tubeless... same day drop off. Now no promises to anyone reading this that these guys are going to do same day turnarounds, but they were slow today and I lucked out. Bike feels incredible, price was great compared to other places I checked and the guys working there are really friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions without making me feel dumb, which is always a plus when you're new to a sport. My new go to bike shop in queens. - Mark

Took my bike in for a tuneup on 5/12/19 and they did a fantastic job. Brakes are nice and tight and no longer rub, gears are shifting precisely now, and my chain was cleaned and lubed. The bike is riding smooth as ever now. Will definitely be going back here.

These guys are experts at repairs; I have never had a complaint about any of their work and they have been working on my bike for years. They always have lots of work lined up so there's often a wait of a few days (perfectly normal for a bike shop), but they'll take care of your bike while you wait if you're in a pinch, which I really appreciate. Their prices are more than fair for the quality of work, also. A real class act of a neighborhood business, hands down.

I stopped by two weeks ago to ask about electric mountain bikes since I saw they’re dealers for some big brands. Even though they were very busy, Dino took the time to answer my questions and we spoke for a few minutes. Last week I brought my road (fitness) bike for a tune up. I don’t know when was the last time it had one and the tires needed to be trued. They gave me a call after Memorial weekend to tell me it needs a new cassette and chain. I stopped by and we discussed in person some other ideas I had in mind. Again, they took the time and answered my questions and we spoke for a few minutes. Today I got my bike back, it’s running like new and feels great. Dino also cleaned it really well since some parts were caked. The (thorough) tune up, cassette and chain were $150 which I find very reasonable. It rides great and looks like new. I’m very happy with the customer service and work they did and will definitely return.

Carlos at Tony's Bike shop not only knows his way around bikes, he's a great customer service guy too. He's never been cold or unfriendly, but his honesty and candor is always appreciated! Their prices are reasonable and much cheaper than Manhattan! The mechanics there are very talented as well. I have 2 bikes that I bring there: my get-around-bike and my high performance training bike. They've been able to bring both back to life every season and with every yearly tune up. They have a solid list of products and accessories, and many bikes for all levels. They even have a free air hose outside, but bring your own adapter (just in case they're closed and can't loan you one). I can't recommend this bike shop enough. Thank you Carlos! And thank you Tony's Bike Shop!

It was quite busy on a Sunday morning. There were 3 or so people being attended to. I quickly cut the line as my issue was an easy one. My front brake was touching the wheel and I needed it adjusted. The representative fixed in less than 5 minutes, which later cost me $10!! Well, I guess that was my fault for not asking how much it would cost but nevertheless quick/easy job.

Tony’s is a great local bike shop. I would say that their prices for labor, parts, and complete bikes are very fair and you do get what you pay for. Their bike mechanics are quick and efficient and super friendly. I’ve been taking my Cinelli road bike there for tune ups for two years and I recently bought a nice retrospec singlespeed in April and they provide TWO YEARS FREE TUNEUPS and I never have to remind them because they remember your face (eyes and mask) and they remember how you like your bike setup. I’m not sure if they currently (Sept 2020) have any bikes in stock but go check them out anyways for anything you might need. These guys are pros.

Tony's is great! I have used Tony's for 6 years. They did an awesome job on my 2 older bikes for first 4 years. 2 years ago bought a brand new bike from them and service continues to be fantastic. They can always suggest the best bike accessories in your price point and most products someone in the store has first hand experience with. They even setup my mile clock/ timer last year to make sure it was working properly. Truly a great neighborhood spot.

Best service. Have been purchasing from and using them exclusively for repairs since I moved to Queens. Never oversell, often will do same day repairs, superior customer service and family friendly. I love supporting bike shops. Tony’s seems to be a great place to take a bike for service, but their markups on cassettes, bar tape, and the like, are higher than anywhere I’ve ever seen. Everything is easily twice the price (or more) of online prices or other bike shops.

Went in to get my front and rear deraileur adjusted. The price was more than fair, everyone in the store was extremely friendly and they did a perfect job. Would recommend to anyone needing quality bike work done. EDIT: Went back for a tune up a few months later and they completely skipped adjusting my deraileur, even though i asked them to pay special attention to it. They corrected their mistake for free but I was not happy that I had to come back in.

This is definitely the best bike shop around! The people working here clearly know about bikes and care about giving you the best experience in the shop and on your bike. It's packed with bikes and very no-frills, but it's a much better option than buying from a huge chain store or online. They are fantastic with kids, too!

I once came in to buy replacement lights, and while looking at a pricier option, they pointed out a more economical one that would work for me if I only needed to be seen and not to see. Seems like a nice local shop. Carlos gave me some guidance for my next purchase and although we looks at some high dollar stuff we settled on what made more sense given all factors. He even pointed out that what I had was not bad at all so definitely and honest seller. Warranty and service for 2 years makes it a good idea to buy local.

Run by a talkative, charismatic, and knowledgeable Greek, this place is a good find for all kinds of biking needs. They do high-end tune-ups, and work on rusty old bikes too. I've been away from the biking world for a couple years now, but after speaking with these dudes for an hour or so, I feel like I'm right back on track. Prices are satisfactory, and after watching them work on a few bikes it seems like they put in some love in their work. I'll definitely be back.

Tony’s Bike shop is the best place in Astoria for bikes ! The bike tech he has there is top notch ! Go see Dino he hooked me up and helped me pick out the perfect Bike . I chose the 2019 fx3 Disc. He also hooked me up with a baby seat for the back of the bike . Prices are good they will work with you so much so I’m taking my son and my friend to go buy 2 new bikes today . ASK FOR DINO HE IS THE MAN !! If they don’t have the bike in stock Dino will order it for you and have it there in no time . Even their helper Charlie is great ( I’m waiting for you to turn 18 )

I go to a lot of bike shops, been to bike shops in different countries and cities, and this is the best of the neighborhood bike shops I've found--ever. They are also, by the way, one of only two (or maybe it's one again) shops in Queens certified by Trek to sell and work on the Madone. I do all the basic stuff myself, so mostly I go in for supplies, but when I need a professional repair job, I don't go to a pro shop--haven't found one in NYC that I think is particularly good--I take my bikes to Tony's. Also, because I've been a customer there for a long time, they don't mind when I call up asking for some technical advice. If you need a bike repair done on a high end bike in Queens, this is the place. It's also the best place to order any kind of bike as I found they have the most reasonable prices in New York City--whether it's a Tour de France bike or one for a toddler. No slick salesmanship. They wont try to sell you a bike that they just want to get rid of, or push the boundaries of what they could possibly charge you. Tony's is the best place to shop for a bike that not only fits and is what you really have in mind, but one that you're going to be completely happy with. I guess the difference is, the folks here aren't ego driven bike racers. They love bikes, but you wont find any yellow jersey wannabes here telling you that you need to shave your legs and weigh your pasta.

This should be a 40 year ago comment. Bough my first sons, first bike here. A 20 inch bright yellow with a banana seat and high rise handle bars. I think it was called the stingray. Great place then. Glad to see someone from the old neighborhood is still doing OK. God bless you . . .
