Great value, excellent service. They know their stuff and are incredibly helpful! Best LBS around. Bought my first bike from them when I knew nothing about cycling 2 years ago and have since been educated on everything from the mechanics, the tech and even nutrition. The crew there are all locals that all have a passion for riding, know the area and it shows! Had them recently upgrade the handlebars and put new wheels on my Emonda and the service was outstanding!

I needed to have new caliper brake pads installed on my old French bike (1976 Peugeot PX-10). The job was done and tested in 30 minutes while I waited. She stops like brand new and there is no squeal or noise. I have to say I felt like a long-term customer not a random walk in. Good job, Mike!

If I could give them more stars, I definitely would! After reviewing our options, and taking test drives, we purchased two bikes on June 30th. We were very happy with working with Alphonse in making our selections. One of the bikes was a Sun Trike, which they happily delivered since we could not fit it into our car. We thought the Sales assistance was great, but the after-purchase follow-up was extraordinary. The Sun Trike had some issues which they addressed at three different times, coming first to the house to adjust the bike, and then picking up the bike to take back to the shop. After adjustments, there was still some issues, so their solution was to replace the original bike. Keith was excellent dealing with these issues. Of the numerous bike shops I have dealt with in my life, they are definitely the best I have ever experienced. Highly recommend. To say they bring Customer Service to a higher level is an understatement!!!!

Good technician on the bike, very straight forward and easy to talk to. They didn't try to sell me other services. Took care of my problem by replacing my hanger on the rear of the bike. Bike runs smooth and gearing is changing great. I highly recommend the services.

This place has very affordable service labor rates and they are more than willing to fix your bike. I think they make most of their money on selling parts and retail. They really know what they are doing, and the boss man is always there. Such a high standard of service here that when you walk in the door it's like you go back 70 years to where the individual customer still mattered.

It's a good location to take a bike for a test ride and they have been patient helping my girlfriend find just the right bike. She's been happy with it and is now excited about exercising again. Overall, just a great place to do business with. Highly recommend!

Keith was extremely helpful and courteous throughout my visit. I came in with a busted (seized) pedal from the local trail about an hour before closing. Everyone in the store was quick to offer assistance and get me back out riding. While they tried to fix my pedal, ultimately it needed to be sourced or replaced. Keith let me know what my options were and guided me through selecting new pedals. He replaced the pedals and cleats within 15 minutes of my selection. My entire visit was around 30 minutes. Extremely fast and efficient, I will certainly be back to this shop in the very near future!

These guys were amazing!!! My new favorite store in Tampa area. I am from Pennsylvania and in town dealing with some family health issues and could not get away earlier in the week to take care of some last minute things. I had a race event the next day and due to my family emergency could not install new tires and perform a quick tube up and adjusting some things on my Tri Bike. I was able to find them about an hour before their closing time and they were nothing but amazing. Changed out my tubes, tires, tune up including chain and cassette lube and clean, some adjustments on my aero bars, pads and handlebar that for some reason had offset a little. They did all of this in less than an hour with less than 15 mins heads up. Totally went out of their way to help me out. I decided that I was going to buy some things like high end riding glasses and other race day stuff due to their amazing services. They deserved my business and more. So instead of only just getting the services done I ended up spending a couple of hundred dollars instead as they definitely deserved my ongoing business. These guys are my new bike shop when in Florida moving forward plus they are close to the trail head of my currently new favorite trail to train on. The Suncoast Trail. So it’s a win win for me. I will be back next week for some additional things. I highly recommend. Geoff, Joe and Alfonso were nothing but outstanding.

I am relatively new to road cycling and I purchased my Domane SL6 during the pandemic backorder frenzy mid last year from the then Suncoast Trailside Bicycles. Since receiving my bike I've been fully invested in the sport and ride 2-4 times a week at the local Suncoast trail. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping riders of all levels and ages. Whenever I've required service, Jacob has been more than helpful and capable with whatever question or repair I've needed. If they don't have what you're looking for in stock, they can order directly from TREK and get whatever part(s) you're after. Wonderful experience for me overall. I have been going to this bike shop since they opened. They continue to impress me with their knowledge and experience. I have had numerous flats repaired and minor adjustments taken care of while I waited. I even purchased my MTB there about 2 years ago (before COVID when everyone still had an inventory). After calling you guys and visiting 10 minutes later, All I did was wait a whopping 20 minutes and you guys changed out my tire in no time. I brought my bike into the shop today with a malfunctioning hand break. I was greeted right when I walked in and helped immediately. I was thrilled it was a simple fix. The technician educated me on how to fix it if the problem arises again and educated me on a few other bike tips. I was expecting to drop it off and pay at least $100. It was a 60 second fix with no charge! This is my bike shop for life! Amazing people. Amazing service. Thank you!

I took my two year old Trek bicycle for its annual servicing a couple of weeks ago. The service folks completed the servicing a day earlier than anticipated; they also replaced the chain and I can tell the smoother difference especially when I shift gears. Awesome job, folks!

Found these guys on the web, they are 2 hours away, and was greatly impressed! They have a number of high-end Trek bikes in stock and as luck would have it... they had my new Trek SLR 7 Madone in my size! They held it for me without a deposit, on the strength of a phone call. When I walked in the next day they treated me like an old friend. Small talk about bikes, about Trek Madone stuff. Then they installed my pedals and Garmin, adjusted the seat, gave me a quick lesson on Di2 and finally insisted on polishing the fingerprints off the frame before I could leave! They would have gone on all day about how the Di2 could be adjusted to my tastes. They made me feel like I was the only thing they had to do today though the shop was slowly filling with customers. More, they have a good selection of accessories, clothing, seats, gloves, bottles and holders... and a selection of more casual bikes as well. I could tell these guys were into it. They really understood the tech end and have a real joy in sharing knowledge. Two hours away... but if I'm ever in the area I will surely drop in.

Great service and information on the phone and in person. In search for a new bike I called and spoke with several shops - Suncoast was the most helpful - so I went by the shop. Dealt with Mike and he was very helpful and knowledgeable . Walked me thru the model I was looking at- Verve 2, set it up for me and sent me out to test ride, made some adjustments to take care of a few concerns I had - and then happily switched it back when I didn't like the new setup. Installed a kickstand, rang me up and I was on my way - probably 40 minutes all told. A good experience all around!

This bicycle shop is literally minutes from my house. I bought my Kuat bike rack and Bumble Bee bike trailer as suggested. Both items were excellent quality and the sales associate was good at suggesting that I buy because of the high demand and shortage of supplies. They are an easy going crew and they don't push products on you but try to understand your dilemma and help you diagnose and find the right solution. I also brought my 2008 Trek 1.2 road bike here and they serviced it really well, put new tires, bar tape, and a few adjustments and she rides like brand new again. The whole team is helpful and it's nice to have a local bike shop that I can go to around the corner. Let's keep supporting Geoff and his team so that they stay in business around here. I've dealt with Sheldon (while he was still there), Jacob, Joe, Mike, and Jackie and all are a fantastic team. I bring my son along with me and they even include him in on the experience. Everyone was friendly, really helpful and remember and address you by name. I went in for a test ride and while the bike I tested was great, it was their service that made me choose them (and a Trek by extension). I was upfront that it would be a month or so before I could actually do anything and they were still more than willing to help me browse and test frames with no pressure to try to make a sale. When it finally came time to buy the bike, I used their online store. The owner personally called to confirm the order and make sure everything was compatible. Once my bike arrived and was assembled, they walked me through all the details and operations (it had been a long time since I'd used a bike with more than 1 gear) and helped get the fit dialed in. Super satisfied and already recommended them to a friend who's bike needs to be serviced.

I called before I visited. Someone politely answered the phone (despite it being 30min before they opened) and fielded my questions. I arrived 5-10 min prior to them opening, & while they were preparing to set up outside for proper social distancing. A line began to form outside. All of the employees were polite, engaging, and conveyed a positive attitude. When I was done paying for my service I walked out of there thinking “I love this place” ... Which is an interesting reaction considering I am not even a cyclist. I just needed to have my 5yo daughters bike tire fixed. I have always been a huge fan of this shop, ever since I bought my bike from there. My first experience there was 4 years ago when i bought, and rode, my very FIRST road bike. My then boyfriend, now husband, and I felt so welcomed there by Dave and Jacob. Dave walked me through whats important about buying a bike, and picked out the necessary items I would need as a first timer. Dave even had me practice riding on my "skinny tire bike," as i called it) since id never ridden one before in my life), in the parking lot, just to make sure I even liked the feel. Jacob did an awesome job of fitting and customer tailoring my essentials to fit me perfectly. They made me feel comfortable by taking the time to show me how to clip in, while on the trainer, and practicing until i felt like i was ready to try my first ride in the parking lot. That was the first time I had EVER been on a road bike, and it was exciting. They took the time and care with us thay made me feel like family. Ever since then, whenever we walk in for tune ups or purchases, they know our names and everyone welcomes us in so kindly. In fact, we have moved more than 30 minutes away, but drove up there for my last tune up, just because they are the best and we are loyal to them for our amazing experience we have every time there.

Geoff (the owner) and Jacob (his manager and knowledgeable tech) are men i strongly recommend you do business with. what i'm most comfortable with is the pro shop atmosphere and staff, i didn't expect that from a franchise. Went in to replace the cheap freewheel lock my sons bike came with. They told me to bring in the wheel and lock and they replaced and put it on for me so when I got home I could just slap it on the frame. Geoff & Jacob fixed our recumbents in about an hour even though it was a busy Saturday. Two other bike shops in the area estimate 2-3 weeks just to begin two tune-ups and repair flats. My wife went in yesterday to get a couple of new tires for our son's bicycle. One tire was blown due to dry rot and the other was not far behind. The team member here (sorry for no name...) not only replaced the tires, but also performed a quick maintenance check on the cables and gears. The service was completed very quickly and courteously. Whether casual bicyclists such as us, or a true enthusiast (there were several there), this is the place for bicycle sales and service. Awesome experience.

I don’t enjoy shopping and typically require full service attention where an expert can guide me through the buying process and get me out the door quickly. I have a 1995 GT Team LTS which in 1995 was a bike that many of the top pros used during a time when the Sport was in a period of great popularity.I wanted to get a light tune-up since I hadn't ridden the bike in years. My 29yo son expressed an interest in it, however I discovered a crack in the metal on the stanchion that holds the front brake and is part of the front fork assembly.I was advised by the staff at the store as to how to restore the bike to full function without trying to over sell me on an expensive fork for such an old bike. They quoted me a very reasonable price to do the job. I look forward to using their services again as my wife and I get back into riding our road bikes during our semi-retirement. Trailside gave me a feeling of integrity and competence. That goes a long way.

Skip the dept stores, come see the experts. Walked in with my wife and 2 kids. I was immediately greeted by Jacob who was very eager to help. I informed him I just needed 2 tubes and a rim strip for my aging bicycle. The other man there gestured to my wife and kids and asked me if they were with me as he didn't want to ignore them. I told him they were and probably looking for a bike for my daughter since she outgrew her other bike. Jacob immediately jumped on the opportunity to show me some used bikes and explained to me how they were acquired through a trade in program. Well he just happened to have a metallic pink Garry Fisher bike with training wheels. He set it up for my daughter (shes 5) and let her ride it in the parking lot. My daughter loved it and we bought it on the spot. While Jacob cleaned up the bike I picked his brain about adult bikes for my wife and I, he is a wealth of information. He even installed a bell for my daughter. My next bike purchase will be here for sure. Great staff. Great bikes.
