Excellent Customer Experience! After calling another closer bike shop which came across less than enthused to have a new customer, I called Trek (formerly Dave’s Bicycles Wildwood) and connected with a very helpful associate and brought my bike over for a tire repair and new kickstand. 15 minutes later and I’m in one of my new favorite places! Mark and Team are AMAZING super attitudes and culture and rekindled my enthusiasm for getting back to rides longer than neighborhood spins! Looking forward to the next monthly 4 pm ride!

I must say our experience at the Wildwood Trek Bike store was amazing. Mark our salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful with our purchase. When I pick up our bikes a few days later I work with Saul and he was just as helpful and knowledgeable. The bike mechanic I had the pleasure dealing with was so knowledgeable , helpful and patient he took the time to explain everything in detail. Turning into association with Trek manufacturer, this Wildwood store continues with its legendary quality with now a bigger inventory. Well run extremely busy bike store. I was very impressed by the volume of the serious road bike customers you have coming into your store. These are people who think nothing of going 50 miles on their bikes in one day. To keep these customers a bike shop has to be at the top of their game or else these bikers will go else where to keep their bikes maintained for peck performance. I am an experienced recreational biker. I've been riding since the age of 5, but never had the desire to join the road bike groups who enjoy pushing themselves to excel in the sport. I'll use my bike to ride 9 to 10 miles to go into town to have lunch or visit friends. Rarely anything more. Since I've retired I've become friends with a few bikers in top physical shape that enjoy long rides. To do this I sold my 10 speed road bike and bought an e-bike. With the help of your your professional Wildwood team I selected a Trek Allant-7 e-bike to use on rail-to-trails and around town to go shopping, dinning out, etc. Because of this bike I can enjoy ride with my recreational riding friends as well at going on longer hauls with a few of my more serious biking friends that like to go on longer hauls averaging 18 to 20 miles per hour. At being over 70 years old, I'm amazed at the freedom the Allant-7 have given me, it's like being a kid back in school when my bike was the only form of transportation I had. I am very happy the Wildwood staff helped me select the right bike for my riding style.

Rebecca was very welcoming and patient with us 5 ladies that showed up to learn about electric bikes. We left advising her we wanted to go do our homework and check out another bike shop. We did and wanted to go back and buy from her and we did we purchased 4 bikes with accessories like phone holder, baskets, and water bottle holder. There was a bit of a Mix up with the accessories when they were delivered but Mark tried his best to make it right. Lastly, one of the bikes didn’t arrive with the others and Rebecca made the delivery happen the day it arrived. John delivered them and added the extra accessories on our bikes. Happy with our purchases so far.

After talking with another bike shop here in The Villages about repairs needed for my bike, I got a bad vibe from that shop. You had to make an appointment for repairs and the guy just gave off a no personality don't care attitude. I then searched and found Trek Bicycle Wildwood, a great find for my needs. After calling, I was told to just bring my bike in anytime and they would review it and advise me of the needs and cost. Brought the bike in and within a very short time they had it ready to go. No up sale ,no unneeded extra repairs, no B.S. Everyone in the place was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to engage. This is now my go to bicycle shop in The Villages area, a great find!

There isn't much that could be done for improvement. At least, not from my perspective, and it's a really good place to come for repairs, but in terms of getting new bikes, helmets or additions to your bike, it's a bit on the pricier side, which is why I only gave it a four star review. I'd recommend coming here if you need something fixed for cheap, considering the quality of the parts or if you have a big budget for getting stuff added to your bike, or to get new bikes.

She set me up to go on a ride to make sure I liked the feel of the bike. The color ( Curry ) was just what I was looking for! I bought an Electra Townie 7 speed and I am thrilled with my new ride! I recently purchased property in the Villages, Florida. I currently ride a Trek Domane SL 7 E Tap, but I wanted s second bike to have in Florida, at the advice of some friends of mine that work for Trek in my hometown, they told me to contact Trek Bikes in Wildwood Florida and I did. When I called I sold with Rebecca, after a short conversation I agreed to purchase a Domane SLR 7 E tap. To make a long story short Rebecca along with additional staff at Trek Wildwood made the purchase and the subsequently delivery extremely easy for me, what I failed to mention was I was 1500 miles away when I was speaking with Rebecca. In closing Rebecca and the staff at Trek Wildwood should be commended for making a purchase that would normally have been a difficult transaction to complete very easy.

I bought my bike about a year ago. The tires went flat and I tried to pump them up and they remained flat. I took my bike to the store where I bought it and had the most amazing experience. The man who helped me was patient, kind, and thorough!! He taught me how to use the bike pump they sell, it was a much better pump than what I tried using at home. He then put my bike on the rack to check it out. And then he walked it out to my car and put it on the car rack. He was so gentle. I am not the least bit mechanical. He treated me like a VIP. Broke three spokes during my morning ride. Googled bicycle shops and found this one was the closest to me. Called and was told that when 3 or more spokes break it usually means replace the wheel. I was ok with that and with wheel in hand drove to the shop on hopes of being able to order one. Got there and Grant took a look and said I think I can fix this. Great I said, when should I come back to pick it up? Next week? No he said, how about 30 minutes! Great people, great service. I'm a new loyal customer!

If you're looking to buy a quality bicycle-- stop here first. The customer service is outstanding, as is the selection of Trek bicycles. Steve, the Store Manager, was my salesman and he immediately narrowed the choices down to two bicycles and picked the better of the two for my test ride. Steve adjusted the bicycle to fit me perfectly and after 4 pedal revolutions I knew that the Trek Verve 3 was the sweet ride I'd been searching for. Best of all, the gear shifting was flawless, unlike the previous 4 bicycles I had tried at a nearby shop. Steve then helped me select all the necessary safety equipment and accessories I needed -- front and rear lights, rear rack, and a Cateye cycling computer that is easy to read and actually works properly. He even gave me a discount on the accessories as I purchased everything he suggested. They installed all the accessories and delivered my new bicycle to my house the next day at the time they promised. Best of all when you buy from David's World Cycle you get lifetime gear and brake adjustments for free--and they also have an option to buy flat tire repair insurance for $50 that lasts for the life of the bike. David's also will follow up to make sure that you are happy with your new bicycle!! I can't be more pleased with the help I got from Steve who is an avid cyclist and very knowledgeable. He spent time with me to make sure that I got the bike that suited my needs, fit me, and was equipped to keep me riding safely. Jared also helped me get specs printed for my bike. I will recommend this shop to all my friends and plan to get all my cycling gear here in the future. Steve is awesome!!!! Don't waste your time elsewhere when you can get it done right the first time here and support a local business.

I knew which bike I was interested in. The salesman was very knowledgeable about the bike, its features and upgrades over prior models. He showed me the next model up and explained the additional features. But he agreed that my original choice was a better one based on where I expected to ride the bike. I appreciated that he gave me more info but didn't try to pressure me to buy the more expensive bike. He was great at suggesting add-ons that I really did need, such as a water bottle holder, bike computer, etc. He had it all ready the next day when I returned to pick it up. Great experience.

This is my second time dealing with Dave's World in Wildwood. The first time was in 2015 when they were still a solo operation. On that visit they did a tuneup for me on a well loved Trek. They also stayed a little past closing time on a Saturday to help my friend with the extremely tight brakes on her custom Terry. They could not have been kinder or more reasonably priced. This year I rented a bike from Dave's World for the month of March. The price was reasonable, the bike was similar to my old Trek, and before I left the store they made sure the seat was properly adjusted and I could change gears properly. What a nice group of kind and informative people!

I wanted a belt driven instead of a chain driven bicycle. I could not buy one locally. So, I purchased one on Walmart's web site. When it arrived, I took it to David's World Cycle to be assembled. When I went to David's to pick up the assembled bike, Brian took me out to the parking lot. He made me ride the bike and watched to ensure that everything worked properly. The bike did not come with a lot of the things that you really need - kick stand, mirror, comfortable seat, etc. Brian worked with me to identify the things that I needed. Then, he did an extremely careful job of installing them. The level of customer service was incredible. They did a great job. I was very happy when I left. I went on a long bike ride the next day with a group of riders. My bike worked perfectly.

Had a great buying experience for my wife’s Townie, and she feels so much more comfortable now than on her trail bike. Accessories are expensive, but they carry top of the line stuff, and it fits the models of bikes they sell, and they’ll provide installation and/or instructions. Bottom line, this is your one-stop shop for bicycles.

Everyone was very friendly service was fast all is I needed was the back tire changed. However one thing I didn't understand is that they asked for my drivers licence?? I understand asking for my email address but not my drivers licence and I gave it to them !! I asked them why my licence and they just said it would be easier to look up for warranty purposes, I had a 30 day warranty. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

I went to check this shop out even after ordering a bike with a competitor. After dealing with the manager Steve he gave me one on one service and let me test ride some bikes. I put a deposit down on a full suspension mtb the same day and canceled my order with the competition. It had been over 2 weeks with the competitors bike and it hadent even shipped yet. My bike from David’s world was ordered on Monday and I was picking it up on Friday. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

My hubby and I decided we would buy some bicycles. I am a peddle brakes gal from way back. My hubby purchased a Treck bicycle. Being responsible we also bought 2 nice bicycle helmets. Plus bought a bicycle trainer. For those days when I want to peddle but don’t want to get anywhere! We received expert advice, and when our bikes arrived the staff set my trainer and showed me how to take the bike on and off . This David’s World Cycle is located in Wildwood, and is easy to spot from 301. The business is open on Saturday. They are knowledgeable and friendly.

Most importantly, they fitted the cycle to me perfectly. I never knew just how important having the cycle properly fitted was. Just few adjustments and riding was so much more comfortable. After many years with a Giant hybrid, I tried a Trek road bike for 18 months but never felt comfortable or stable enough to be a confident rider. A new FX3 in the next size up from what the machine said I should ride (20 v 17.5), plus an adjustable stem extension has made all the difference. Jan 2021: Saved my vacation! Bracket at the top of my seat post broke in two. I’m in Florida on a 3 week bicycling vacation planned for over a year, it looked bad. These guys looked up the replacement part and by some miracle happened to have it in stock. Their skilled mechanic installed it and I was out the door in 20 minutes, and back on the trail. Thank you! Update January 2023: I can't say enough about this wonderful shop. My bike was in for repairs which, due to supply problems and mistakes at Trek central office, took several weeks. The owners of this shop ordered replacement parts for overnight delivery and they refused to allow me to pay for the shipping. This shop offers free "loaner" bikes to customers if they cannot repair the bike in a few days. "Pick any bike in the shop," they said. I don't know how they can afford to loan a brand new bike to every customer who is waiting for repairs, but that's what they do, and once again it saved my vacation. Trey is an incredible technician and when my parts finally came in he did a superb job of assembling the bike, tuning it up and getting it out the door as quickly as possible. Thanks, guys!
