So happy we found the guys at Rad to help us create awesome memories. We rented paddle boards, chairs and an umbrella for several hours. You can go out in the bay or go to the beach across the street and enjoy the gorgeous gulf water, while still having a set up on shore. I highly recommend choosing the gulf on a calm day. Not only was the price great, the service was incredible. You can’t go wrong going to these guys for any of your beach rental needs. So sweet and helpful. We’ll definitely be back to see ya’ll on our next beach adventure!

We stopped in to rent some bikes for a few hours. The owner was super friendly and took lots of time with us to answer questions we had about fat tire bikes and cruiser bikes, beach access and rates. We were not sure how long we would be out so the owner told us to just take the bikes and he would list the rental as open and we could bring back anytime before closing. We had two fat tire bikes with one basket and one lock. We kept the bikes out for two hours and spent a total of $24. It happened to be 90 this day and over 100 on the heat index. so two hours is all we could do. The fat tire bikes did great on the packed sand on the beach, took a little more effort than riding on the road or sidewalks, but overall not too difficult This location has a great choice of options, great customer service and good prices. We passed some ladies on the beach who asked us if we rented the bikes. We chatted with them for a while and plugged this location for the great service they gave us. Next time we rent, we will use this location again for sure!

So many great gems in this tucked away shop. The owners are lovely people! I was on the hunt for a good beach hat and found exactly what I was looking for plus a few little handmade gifts. They have great bikes for rent at a reasonable rate as well.

We rented bicycles from here for a day. We reserved them the day before and they dropped them off the next morning. At first we had 1 ebike and 1 regular bike but found it was too hard to stay together. We called and asked if there was another ebike available and they delivered it very quickly. The customer service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. If you're thinking about renting any kind of bike or surf gear we highly recommend this shop!

Family owned and operated shop. I called about reserving a bike for the next day as it was closing time and they stayed open and waited for me to drive half an hour to come and rent a bike. My only challenge was deciding which bike out of about 5 or so different types(cruiser, single speed, fat bike, 3spd, 7spd, 21spd) it took all of 5-10 minutes and I was off back to my air bnb with a bike, helmet and lock for the weekend at $80. I know they had lots of kayaks and other things for rent also. Good people.

It's a shame this one doesn't appear higher when you Google rentals. I emailed twice one of the ones who appeared higher and drove in circles to find a nonexistent location to get nothing. No response, no chairs I called Rad, actually talked to a person, got two chairs and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great friendly service from Laura and Nate, the owners! Always happy to keep it local and rent with the small business. Bikes in good shape with multiple styles available. Good location -- right on Gulf Blvd and across the street from beach access.

Great bicycle shop! They built my boyfriend's bike and also have done tune ups for us. Great prices and service. Also just got a really awesome and great quality coconut cup holder for my bicycle. They use stainless steel hardware unlike most so they won't rust in this Florida weather. Go check them out!!!

Do you like to feel welcomed and well treated? If not, then this is not the place for you. A no pressure, relaxed treatment. I took my daughter for a bike ride along the beach front and the staff there were truly helpful and friendly. Great prices, great service. 5 solid stars.

As a Tampa/ St Pete native, I am familiar with most of the beach rentals and bike shops in the area, so I can say with certainty that RAD is special. Nathan and Laura , the owners, are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also a lovely and warm presence to be around. I recently started renting beach chairs and kayaks and I can say that I am deeply impressed with the attention to cleanliness and customer service they are! I am also incredibly impressed with the other staff member who goes above and beyond and seems to just love her job at RAD! Most of all I appreciate their kindness and attention to detail while helping me find exactly what I need.

What a great experience. I had to have my kids bike worked on. They only took one day to fix it and it seemed like a new bike again. This is a family owned business. If you need any repairs or want to rent sone beach toys., then go see Nate. I highly recommend this company.

I’m visiting and wanted to rent a bike to see the area. This place is very nice. They have a great selection of bikes to choose from. The service was friendly, and they made it easy to complete the rental papers. They also helped to readjust the bike for my comfort. I will definitely be back here to rent a bike again.

I'm only 4 blocks from this shop so I went there to get a new tire put on my rear wheel and also get the wheel trued. Nathan, the owner, had me fixed up in a very short time, for a very reasonable cost! Nathan is a first class mechanic and very knowledgeable. His customer service is second to none! Nate and his wife did an outstanding job. My wife and I just moved into the area, and they got our bicycles tuned up and ready to ride in less than a day at a great price. We also rented a kayak and SUP board; both were in great condition and very affordable for a half-day of paddling. They're knowledgable regarding maintenance and service and won't sell you on things you don't need. Looking forward to our next outing. Thanks guys!

Rented 4 paddle boards from them last summer. Nice staff and reasonable price. Since 2 boards were for our kids, one staff (sorry forgot his name) carried to the beach for us and came to pick them up when we are done. Had a great time paddling around. Will definitely rent from them again.

Very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We rented kayaks and wheeled them down to the nearby park/small boat launch. Tooled around Punkin Key, and the channel. Saw four dolphins, two sting ray, and plenty of jumping fish! Best bang for your buck!

This is the best bike shop!! We have gone here for the last few years. This last visit takes the cake! We were packed up for a festival and noticed we had a flat tire on my bike. We went to The shop and the owner replaced the tube and fixed my bike for next to nothing. So happy to be on our way to the festival. We went over the bridge and boom! Our bike rack broke. Thankfully we didn't get too far. We called the shop and asked if by chance he had an extra rack. He said he had one for us!! We went back to the shop. He gave us an awesome deal on a used rack and helped us put it back on the car. Again, for such a small cost. We made it to our music festival safe and sound! Thank you for always taking such great care of our family's biking needs!!!!!

I've had my bicycle fixed/serviced here twice. The last time was a flat front and leaking rear tire. Not only did they replace the tubes, they replaced the worn rubber spoke cover that goes around the inside rim, tightened the kickstand and handle bars. I wish I lived closer to go here when I need service or repairs. The service was excellent, the price was right. Oh yeah they had it done within the afternoon. I absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable with the area. Talking with them felt like talking with family. They genuinely care about the people that come in. And the prices can't be beat. Today is my last day of vacation. I only regret not finding them sooner! I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

I rented two stand up paddle boards for 2 hours. They were very friendly and all of the gear was in good shape. They are very close to the beach, so it is easy to walk your board and then hop in the water! Their prices are VERY reasonable.
