Needing new bikes for the Mrs and myself we are extremely happy that we decided to go with Brandon Bikeworks for our purchases. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to speak with. They helped us find the exact size and style bike that we were looking for. They also offered a delivery for the bikes which we were more than glad to pay the small fee to have this done. The bikes were delivered 3 days after purchase by the owners Nikki and Jose ( I think that is their names). Again they were just like the staff they had back at the shop extremely pleasant easy to talk to and very knowledgeable with their products. They adjusted our seats for us and we were ready to go. I did have a small problem with my bike and after talking to them the next day they inform me they would be back the following day. Well the next day arrived and I was pleasantly surprised to see Jose pull up to my house with a brand new bike to replace the old one that had a small defect. So long story short, go here, get your bike you won't be disappointed!

I have always had all of my racing bikes worked on at Brandon Bikeworks because I can trust them. If I need something, they tell me rather than trying to upsell me on a lot of stuff that I really do not need.I bought a bike computer and the owner personally took the time to set my computer on my bike, he also set it to my Garmin watch and then I asked if he could set it up with Strava and he did. He did not have to do that but he did it and he did it with a smile on his face.I just did a Duathlon yesterday in Naples and I took my bike in the day before the race and they squeezed me in to have 2 new tires and tubes put on, along with a new chain and rear gears. They go the extra mile because they care and if you need something done, tell them and tell them why and they will get it done that day as long as you can give them a little time. Go get lunch or go shopping at the nearby Target. TRUST is hard when it comes to a bike business & my bike was perfect for that Duathlon the next day and I took 2nd place in my age category thanks to having a great bike that performed beautifully.Michael Gardner

Excellent, polite, and knowledgeable engineers! Back in May this year, I bought a brand new Cannondale Trail 8 and have been having nothing but bad luck with it. The constant chain issue (skipping, jumping) was very annoying while riding. I brought the bike back to where I bought it three times, explaining the problem with the chain and hoping they could fix it. All this was to n avail. Engineers from Brandon Bikeworks looked at it and managed to fix it with one visit. Highly recommend it!

We were on the hunt for a comfortable bicycle for my wife who has limited experience with bike riding. The sales associate that helped us, asked questions that helped provide insight and confidence on our intended purchase. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all not pushy. He was an expert guide that made our shopping experience that much more enjoyable. On the flip side of the coin, the bike shop was well stocked with bicycles and all the ancillary equipment one would want as a bicycle enthusiast at any level. The employees are the best. I went to pick up my bike and they said they dropped a tool on the bike and there was a chip in the paint smaller than a crumb and they said that they’ll throw in a water bottle holder and a $25 credit back because it was a new bike I would highly recommend if you looking for either repairs or a new bike if i could rate them out of 100 it would be 100/100. Highly recommend! I was originally quoted approximately $200 however thanks to Bikeworks and their free inspection Jose was able to determine he could fix a part on my bike versus replace it. I would recommend Brandon BikeWorks to anyone looking for outstanding customer focused attention to details and excellent service delivery. The customer focus attention aspect is what differentiates this shop and its ownership (Jose & Nikki) from the competition since it is not a big chain shop. However, dealing with Jose directly I can understand why people like this shop. I never heard of Brandon BikeWorks until I called Trek Corporate Customer care to get a status on a Rosco 7 that I ordered August '20 and was told I should expect it by January '21 by my dealer in Ft. Lauderdale. On January '21 my local Trek bike shop called and now stated the Rosco 7 will not be available until December' 21. (18+ months) I was very upset considering I ordered 3 other Trek bikes for my wife & kids at the same. The 2 kids bikes arrived before Sept' 20 and my wife's arrived in January' 21. I reached out to Trek Corp Customer Care via email inquiring about my Roscoe 7 order & why it was delayed 18 months. They replied back within 24 hours and located a Bike shop (Brandon BikeWorks) ) that had the Roscoe 7 in stock and available. I called BikeWorks and spoke to Jose for the very first time. Jose confirmed he had the same Roscoe 7 model, color & size I ordered in stock & available. I explained to him Trek Corp Customer Care referred me to BikeWorks. Jose was very professional and I offered to place a deposit on the bike for him but told me no need I trust you. He recommended to first call the shop where I ordered the Roscoe 7 originally just to make sure I would not have any issue getting a 100% credit & refund. I contacted my local bike shop which confirmed a full refund will be granted and they would re-assemble the Roscoe 7 from BikeWorks when it arrived using Bike-flights. (I had never used Bike-flights before until now. Its a Good service) Jose was amazing as we exchanged several calls & emails the next few days. Within approx. 7 days he prepared the Roscoe 7 for shipping using a Bike-flights Box and 24 hours later my new Roscoe 7 arrived at my local Fort. Lauderdale Bike shop with no issues. Very hard to believe this the same bike my own dealer told me was on back-order another 12 months. My local bike shop was shocked and speechless when they heard I found my Roscoe 7. I would say it was one of those classic moments when people tell you one thing & you proven them wrong. I understand the Bike industry is going through challenges and part shortages as a direct result of COVID. However, even during difficult times can not under estimate the value of outstanding customer service, customer transparency and customer integrity. I am happy to say BikeWorks does all these things and more with passion ! Thank you.

Outstanding, friendly customer service and support with bike selection, how to properly use the bike as well as recommendations for appropriate accessories was offered. The team worked with me to add accessories to my new bike, they demonstrated how to operate features and remove the front tire. They also assisted me with installing a bike rack on my car trunk. Jose is the man. I really appreciate him taking time to show me how to setup my new bike. How to make some adjustments. He was very friendly and I never felt rushed. It took several hours, but that was only due to the trek financing giving the runaround. Jose was very patient and did his best to make sure I was taken care of. I would 100% recommend your shop 100% because of him. I work in customer service and it’s so important to have employees like him. Give him a raise or at least buy him dinner haha.

I visit the area fairly regularly and bought a Trek a couple of years ago. I always wait until I come back to the area for any maintenance on the bike. The staff always has been professional, knowledgeable, personable and patient as I ask all my questions, particularly Jose. Very helpful every time. Great experience every time. I found Brandon Bikeworks because another Trek bike shop in Tampa did a poor job of servicing my road bike. I did not want to make the near hour drive back, nor did I trust them. Thus, I found myself heading over to Brandon Bikeworks. Jose was amazing, kind and understanding. He quickly diagnosed a couple issues that were not properly addressed by the "Other" bike shop and even offered to call Trek on my behalf regarding a potential warranty issue with the frame. Jose and his team took great care of me and my bike; it was a marked difference from how I was treated at the other bike shop. I have returned to Brandon Bikeworks several times for parts and accessories and have always been treated fairly, respectfully and like a valued customer. An outstanding bike shop with superb customer service. Look no further, you can rely on Jose and his team!

The whole experience from walking in the store to leaving with a new bike was stellar. Due to traffic, my trip there after work was long. It was half hour before closing and yet they never once made us feel rushed. We were acknowledged and constantly apologized to for the wait. We knew what we wanted and they had it. No pressure to buy more than what we wanted. Nikki was more than helpful in showing my son how to perform certain functions on his new bike and took the lead in making sure it fit in my car to transport home. There are bike shops closer to where I live and I have visited them while trying to find my son a bike. None of them came close to the level of service provided by Brandon Bike Works. I was visiting the trails in the area when I suddenly picked up an extremely loud creak. Knowing how many bike shops are backed up for repairs, I panicked trying to find a shop that could fit me in. Brandon Bikeworks was my first choice. When I called, they said they could squeeze me in same day to at least take a look at what was going on. I took my bike in because the seat was free spinning. That made for an adventurous ride. Now as a woman, when I take something to a repair shop, I normally feel the condescension the moment I really in the door. Here, I felt respected and taken care of. I'm not going to say it was because both employees/mechanics were women... Actually, yes I am. I had an estimate within a few hours and they got my consent to fix it beforehand. It was reasonably priced and pick up and payments was easy.

Bought my second bike from Brandon Bikeworks. Very friendly, professional advice and good quality bikes. If I need a replacement part the staff is always very helpful in getting me what I need. When you buy a new bike you get a free inspection/service with the purchase. I thought you had to use it within the first year and scheduled my bike for it’s inspection. I was asked if anything was wrong with the bike and I told them nothing was wrong with it, but that the one year mark was approaching and I wanted to take advantage of the free inspection. I was told that the inspection was always good and I might want to wait until I needed some work done on the bike. Now what business will be so honest to give you that advice. Others would gladly take your money and perform an unnecessary service. Thanks for being so consumer oriented.

What a wonderful place! I bought my first used bike, so my wife and I could start riding together, keep in mind I had no clue about bikes.....at all lol they not only checked the bike over and got it in perfect riding condition, they walked me through care and upkeep of the bike and even gave tips on future upgrades I could do for a nicer ride. Everything was reasonably priced and the patience and time they spend with each customer is amazing. This will definitely be my go to shop for any future needs!

Brought two bikes in, easy process. Called for an appointment, had that with a few days. Dropped my bikes the night before. One bike I wasn't sure if there were any issues, I needed to get it checked out. The other I needed a noodle replaced on my front brake. The work was completed within a day. No charge to look my over one bike (inspection) and no work was needed. Definitely recommend Brandon Bikeworks. Great staff, very friendly, professional and easy to work with the everyone on staff.

About two weeks ago my boyfriend and I, encountered very poor customer service with a local shop called Cycle Therapy who didn't want to help us out with a simple exchange for a purchase we made at this shop. As future small business owners, we understand the importance of reviews, good customers service, and the willingness to go the extra mile for the customer by giving them an experience that they wouldn't find anywhere else. Bike Works has won our hearts for being the best bike shop in Florida. Bike Works, saw our reviews and recognized my boyfriends name, since we have given Bike Works our business before. One of the employees named Joe, had personally reached out to my boyfriend by phone on behalf of Jose, to apologize for the experience we had at Cycle Therapy. I just have to say how cool is that?! That's unheard of in the best way possible. Definitely, made permanent customers out of us. The employees in this shop are always respectful, kind, honest, and have been willing to help or answer any questions we might have. We had used Cycle Therapy one time for commute convenience since we moved further away from Bike Works. We were planning on giving Cycle Therapy and Bike Works our business. After this, we will always go to Bike Works only! Thank you to Jose, Nikki, Liana, and Joe for all the help you guys provide and to the other employees I haven't mentioned here as well. I visited many bike stores around town, and I can attest that Brandon BikeWorks overall had the best customer service/bike selection that fit my needs. High reviews are legit. Called several times to ask about the cost and process for tuning up a bike and when to pick up some items purchased. Jose and Joe are beautiful and very positive people, efficient and a pleasure to be around and speak with. They under-promise and over-deliver. I recommend this place. However, I found every phone interaction with Nikki to be uncomfortable, rude and unnecessarily abrupt. I even got the wrong info from her. Dealing with that just turns me off and I know others have had a similar experience. She cuts you off and is quick to hang up, not friendly and gives you this feeling like she is doing you a favor with each passing second. Just go into the shop and avoid dealing with Nikki over the phone and you will get a 5 star experience. Had i known that, id give this place 5 stars. Common courtesy, decency and friendliness go a long way.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had bought 2 bikes here. My recent purchase was 2 tubeless tires for my road bike 2 weeks ago. I was getting ready today today for my ride tomorrow morning and around 6:40 pm I found out the the sealer is leaking. I don’t know how to fix it for my ride tomorrow. I call Brandon Bikeworks and Joe answered the phone around 6:50 pm, I explained my problem just expecting a quick solution so I can fix the problem. He just offered me to go to the shop and he would help me. I told him I live around 20 min away which was passed the time of closing the store. He said don’t worry. He did not know me, I told him that I bought 2 tires 2 weeks ago. When I get there he fix my problem, upgraded a piece of my tire, explained a lot of stuff and did not charge me. I know that was probably a warranty issue but Joe went extra mile to help me. I left around 7:50. Almost 1 hr later than regular closing time. His customer service impeccable, It just come natural. Excellent service. If you want a bike o,r something related with bikes, this is the place you should go. Excellent products, reasonable price, and best customer service. Thanks Joe

Ok. So I honestly have never heard of this place. Ended up getting a flat tire and this was the closest one. Once I got in, I was instantly greeted if I needed help. I needed an inner tube and clips for my bike. "Say no more." A gentleman grabbed everything that I needed and rang me up. .while I was getting rang up, he overheard that I was a veteran and he instantly asked if he could put my new tire on as well as my clips and responded that it's nothing to help a veteran bc 2 deployments is way harder than what he could ever do for a vet. I have a new bike shop that I will continue to invest in now. And I won't leave out the person at the register. Was very knowledgeable and helped just as much. Great place!!!

I recently got back into riding and had an old bike that needed some serious work. I took it to Brandon Bikeworks and was very pleased with the staff. When I went to pick up the bike I got the news I was expecting.....it would cost more to fix it then it is worth. This was a straight forward and honest answer from the mechanic. He said it could be fixed up but he didn't recommend it. I ultimately agreed and then went into a short discussion about looking for a bike and he recommended some bikes, sizes and a few websites to check out. To top it off he said to call or email him with any questions and if I wanted his opinion on used bikes. At no time did he pressure me into buying something from them and just wanted his customer to get a bike so I could enjoy riding. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well a few weeks went by and I finally found a used bike I wanted. On my way to check it out I called the shop and was given a very thorough list of things to check and look at. After purchasing the bike I took it by the shop and they did a free inspection and lubricated the chain. He said the bike was in excellent condition and I got a great deal. Now up to this point I had not paid them for anything! This is the way a small shop should be run. It is about the customers experience and not just about the sales. From this point on I will only go to Brandon Bikeworks for all my biking needs. BTW: The guy I a talking about it Joe....that guy knows bikes! So the bottom line......any biker (beginner to expert) should consider stopping in this shop. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely the best shop I have ever gone to. I am an avid mountain biker and have been for many years. I've purchased two full suspension bikes and countless other items in the store. Jose and Nikki are absolutely wonderful to deal with. They are the some of the most honest and caring people I've come in contact with - So much so that I have run into Jose many, many times on the trails while he is out riding with his customers whom just purchased new bikes from him. I will ONLY take my business to Brandon Bike Works as does my riding team. So glad to have them around and to keep them around. As far as that previous comment (Elbert) about how negative his experience was, I couldn't EVER imagine Jose or Nikki treating a customer that way. I'm not quite sure how a bike tire can stick, but that's beside the point. I can vouch for them as I have spent many hours in the store just socializing. They will bend over backwards to make customer happy - so much so that Jose has come in multiple times before normal store hours to get me a quick fix on my bike before a race. It needed a complete service and everything adjusted after being shipped. Brandon Bike Works evaluated everything and calles with what was needed and what they suggested being replaced. Felt comfortable taking the recommendation. Picked my bike up and they did the seat and brake adjustments to my height as needed right then. Would definitely recommend them. I bought a bike from here yesterday and everything about the experience was awesome. My boyfriend and I first came in on Thursday and were just looking around. Tyler saw us and asked if we needed help within 2 minutes of my arrival. He then spent an hour and a half (staying after the store had closed) explaining every single difference between every bike I was looking at (Trek x caliber 6 &7, Marlin 5&6, Skye S and Skye SL). He explained every feature of every bike and the advantages of those features with different kinds of riding. Nikki and Tyler also helped explain the difference in different frame sizes and what I would be most comfortable with. I left Thursday feeling extremely informed, and also (most importantly) not feeling any kind of pressure to make a purchase. Friday I came back in and purchased the X caliber 7 with Joe. Joe was also very knowledgeable and helped me to pick out accessories (seat, water bottle holder, and small under seat bag) for my bike that he installed for me immediately for no extra charge. He even adjusted the seat for me more than once after I rode it around the parking lot. Jose made the first adjustments to my bike and made sure that everything was good to go. Tyler and Joe both mountain bike and race so it is comforting to know that I am buying from people who know what they are talking about from personal experience. This was an awesome experience, and even though there are places closer to our house, we won't go anywhere but Brandon Bikeworks from now on.

Great little shop! I bought a Trek Marlin 6 yesterday after they ran me through a couple different bikes to make sure the sizing was correct (I totally would have bought the wrong size). What I liked most about the experience was I never felt pressured at any point. There were much more expensive bikes there, but after explaining what I was looking for they recommended bikes that were exactly what I was looking for (even though I didn't know what exactly I was looking for). She gave me 3 options at different prices and told me to come back when I was able to decide which one would be right for me, if they didn't have it they could order it and it would be there in 3-4 days...again I felt ZERO pressure. I went back the next day and picked up "Brenda" who will take me on many adventures!

As I pulled up, an employee greeted me at my car. He helped me bring my bike inside and we talked about my needs. He immediately noticed that my fork was on backwards. (That's what happens when you build your bike yourself..lol) My bike was taken to the back to be fixed, while someone else rang me up. They called me as soon as the bike was ready. While I was in there picking up my bike, it started to downpour. An employee walked me to my car with an umbrella. Everyone was super nice to each other and to the customers. I brought my 1997 Cannondale F900, neglected for the past 5 years, to Jose to see if he could work some magic. I had been told in the past the frame was cracked so I expected poor news. To my delight Jose couldn't find any cracks and he wrote up a more than reasonable tally of what it would take to get the bike functional. I'm happy to say after having the bike back for nearly a week and wow, it is back to being stiff and soft in all the right places. I always get great service and an above average experience here. I brought my 2019 specialized in for a creaky crank issue this morning and Joe spent about an hour trying to properly diagnose and fix the problem. Turns out it will be a warranty item. I didnt even purchase the bike from them and when it came time to pay, he only charged me for the sealant I had them add to the tires. I can pretty much guarantee that most other flashier shops would've at least hit me for $30 -40 bux for the time spent to diagnose. I walked out spending less than $10. Love these guys and this shop!

It took us two trips there and some education before we made our final picks. We were fortunate enough to pick Brandon Bike Works and meet with Jose and Nikki, owners of the store. They were extremely helpful and were more then happy to spend some time with us to go over our wants and needs. They introduced us to the Swamp Club and off we went. This review is “waaayyy” overdue. It’s all my fault and I feel bad. I believe in supporting local businesses and have always used “word of mouth” and “continued patronage” as my support, but it seems todays businesses are driven, and gauged, to a certain degree by online reviews. I'm a very active 60 yr old. Have ridden bikes all my life, going back to Schwin’s 5 and 10 speed bikes. In 2000 I purchased my first TREK bike, Navigator 300. (not in Florida) 20 of those 60 yrs have been spent traveling and living all over the world. I’ve purchased many things from many people and companies, worldwide. From the moment I walked in “Brandon Bikeworks” (2016) the attention was on me. Staff person, Jake, immediately stopped the work he was doing on a bike and asked if I needed help. Told him I was looking to step up from my 14-15 year old TREK bike and wanted a road bike, but not one that would bend me over too much, because of a “herniated disc”. They had bikes that range from $500 to $12,000. He asked me appropriate questions related to what I wanted from the biking experience and my current and future plans for fitness in relation to biking. Of course he didn’t know what was in my wallet, but he let me establish the budget parameters, as opposed to pushing me towards a bike I could probably afford, but didn’t need. My mindset has always been…take care of your body/fitness level and you can out ride your friends, no matter what bike they had, all things relatively even, (bike, and age). In other words a $5,000 bike is not going really give a lesser fit friend an advantage over me if I have been maintaining by fitness and vice-versa. I returned a week later, talked to the same staff person, who introduced me to the owner. I purchased a new bike in the $800-900 range. I used my TREK card and the shop owner authorized “no interest” for a year for the bike purchase. From that point on, I bought the majority of my accessories from the shop. A year and a half later I was ready for a newer road bike. I went back to Brandon Bikeworks, talked with the owner, and discussed my needs. The shop had been kept abreast of my “cycling routine” because every now and then I ride by the shop to just talk or get new tubes/accessories. The staff is always ready to engage, whether they are busy or not. Talked with the owner about the upgrade and again…..He did not try to oversell, he ensured my expectations were realistic. I ended up buying a bike in the $3400 range, which I may never outgrow, but doesn’t mean I won’t ever buy a newer one. It helps that they allow you to trade in your old Trek towards a new one. I have since gone on “sponsored” bike rides associated with the shop. I have observed other customer interactions while I’m there and am always impressed by the “customer service” all the staff give, even when they are all busy. I often stop by with my “future wish list” and we sift through fact and fiction in regards to bikes and accessories. There is so much bike info available on the net, it can be overwhelming for “ordinary cyclists”. These guys are good at helping you sift through the “hype” and meet your needs/ goals. Before I went to this shop in 2016, I did venture to other shops around the Hillsborough county area, and again at my age I have been buying things for a longtime and I know good customer service. Two bikes and numerous accessories purchased since 2016 and it is still my LBS (local bike shop) of choice, and there are many to choose from. I always give BBw (Brandon Bikeworks) the first chance to meet my needs and they have not disappointed me yet.

Where do I start? By far best customer service in the business. They went above and beyond with providing me the right bike that suits my rowdy riding style. I bought a bike from them a week ago and decided to upgrade to something alot more trail capable and bulletproof for my needs. They made it an easy process and ended up saving me alot of money down the road that I would have ended up spending on parts. The first bike I got was great but it was an entry level bike and I soon found out that it is best to go ahead and invest extra into a more solid trail capable bike. Jose is the man! I drove my fiances car to the shop with back seats folded down and the large 29er with the front wheel off when I made the choice to upgrade, jose offered to drop my bike off at my house for me so I wouldnt have to go through the process of removing a wheel and squeezing my new bike into a malibu. He drove in this rainy weather to personally deliver my bike to me in his own personal truck, Jose is an absolute ROCKSTAR! Much appreciated and definetly found my "home" away from home at Brandon Bikeworks, they made me a part of their family and I will be calling this bike shop my ONLY choice of business! WoW! Where do I begin. Let me begin with I did alot of shopping at local bike shops before I made the final and best decision to return here. I'll keep it short and simple. My wife and I wanted to get into mountain biking. So we stopped here 20 mins before closing on a Friday evening and met 2 wonderful people named Nikki and Jose (Owners). Words cannot express the gratitude I have for these 2 amazing people. They were both very knowledgeable and just gave the most welcoming visit I've ever felt walking into any establishment. Right away we clicked as if we knew them for years. They didn't make us feel pressured to purchase their bikes nor did we feel like we were rushed to leave being that it was past closing time. Today I was replacing the bottom bracket on my bike, but the threading had become damaged somewhere in the process. I called them and they told me that they're pretty swamped, but they could get it done in few days. I was dismayed because my bicycle is my transportation everywhere. He immediately told me to come in because he understood that this was an emergency for me. When I went in, Jose(the man on the phone) had it fixed in 15 minutes and the price was considerably lower than I had seen online. They've gone above and beyond like this on every visit I've made there. I actually bought my bicycle at an LBS up the road and I regret ever giving them my business. They almost seem to go out of their way to not be helpful, they're overpriced and pretentious. As long as I live in this area, Brandon Bikeworks has my business.

Snowbird with flat! Three other shops gave me a guesstimate for repair. These guys gave me an exact quote. I waited while they pulled the old tube, carefully searched the tire - even after they found the piece of glass that was the trouble maker, and finally ran hs hand around to make sure all was good. Remount, inflate, and out the door in less than 15 minutes. I'll be back here if I have any more bike problems (before heading back north!)

This bike shop was nearby to us so we decided to take my bike in for a repair that took about 20 minutes. It just needed a new tube on the rear tire. It cost us about $12 for the tube and $10-15 for the labor which is a little more expensive than other places that charge $5 for the tube and $6 for the labor but the crew was cool and they were pretty fast with it. We would probably go back.
