Purchased an All City bike from Ride in mid 2021. At the time bikes were impossible to find, but they helped me get what I wanted and then some. The entire staff is highly knowledgeable and they all take pride in their craft. I always leave the shop more stoked on riding my bike. Thanks being being the raddest shop around!

Bill and the whole crew are absolute gems! They were so helpful and generous when we came in off a cross country tour, hooking us up with bike boxes and packing materials and just generally alleviating so much end of trip stress through their kindness. Great selection in the shop as well, was happy to replace my lost multi-tool and enjoyed scoping out the rest of the gear. They saved the day many times over, if I'm ever back in Seattle this is for sure the shop I'd trust for any bike repair or accessory needs. Good people!

Small shop but it has a good selection of quality bikes, parts, and accessories. Staff is friendly but low key, knowledgeable but not pushy. Pleased with the racks they had in stock and put on my bike. A block from Roosevelt light rail makes the shop very accessible too.

They're the best. I went in to have them adjust my handlebars and brakes. The mechanic, Justin, encouraged me to do it myself while he looked over my shoulder. I ended up being able to do the job myself! Not only that I learned a few great tips on working on my bike. On top of that, they charged much less than they'd initially quoted because " it turned out to be a lot simpler." THANK YOU Justin and Ride Bicycles!

Brought a used bike in today after back tire kept going flat, expected to pay at least $100 to fix the issue. The worker quickly diagnosed I needed a new wheel and told me it would take only a half hour. There’s a coffee shop next door that’s perfect for waiting. They even cleaned and lubed my chain and did some light tuning for free. Staff was knowledgeable, super friendly, and efficient. Cost of parts and labor were also surprisingly inexpensive, it ended up being about $40 for the new tire (before they discounted it) and about $30 for labor. I was in and out in under 45 minutes. Would absolutely recommend!

I almost hesitate to review this business because it's so great I don't want it to be overrun. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, non-arrogant, will not gouge you, good listeners. We've come in for years for all members of the family and they're first rate every time. They fix messes that other bike shops create. Amazing. Never change.

Ride Bicycles was able to inspect and tune a used ebike I recently purchased. Unlike all the other bike shops I called (3 others local to Greenlake), I was treated with respect and experienced great customer service. All other shops had a 2+ week lead time on service. Ride Bicycles took just under 4 days! A special shout out to Ryan, he gave the bike a thorough inspection and is a great mechanic to work with. He could have easily got me to buy new front forks, however air pressure was low. Speaks volumes about his character. Thank you, Ryan!

Great little local bike shop. I had lost my bike tool and they gladly helped me make a quick adjustment for free when I stopped in while on a ride. On my second trip in, I bought a bike multi-tool and a pair of sunglasses, both for what seemed like a reasonable price. The store is not big, but they seem to have a good selection, friendly service, and good prices.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They helped me and my wife build a couple awesome Surly touring bikes for our 2019 voyage across North America. The team goes above and beyond what’s expected, ordering whatever is needed, keeping an eye for details, and making bike procurement a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend going with this shop for any and all Surly needs.

I walked into this shop with a bunch of questions and hopes of making some alterations to my bike on a short timeline for an upcoming tour. Greg was awesome and spent close to an hour helping me explore options, compare prices, and make a plan. They were able to get my bike into the shop the same week. Everyone I interacted with at this shop were kind and not at all condescending. Great for someone like me with lots of questions as I try to learn to do more tinkering on my bike on my own as well. Great selection, cool staff, and stellar after-sales service. They took care of a couple of adjustments and a warranty issue quickly (even though they were super busy) and have been friendly and communicative through the process. Their website is modern and they carry a bunch of awesome brands (kona, surly, all-city, etc) and have a pretty decent selection on-site given the size of the shop. I bought one bike here and plan on buying my second here when the time comes. Highly recommend. *edit 5-2022* I have since moved, and in retrospect, this shop is still the best I've encountered. They were able to fix a busted bottom bracket on the spot and advised me on several aspects with regards to bikepacking. Staff is knowledgeable and have explained and taught me much about cycling. This is THE SHOP. A++. Please do yourself a favor and shop here.

I came here as a novice cyclist looking to purchase a bike for commuting. The owner, Christiaan (and the rest of his staff), was super helpful in helping me find a bike that met my needs and my budget. When I came back a week later a bit worried that the frame-size I bought might be too small, they went over the top in helping me get the right fit. The next size up wasn't in stock anywhere, so they instead did a frame-swap for me for a small charge. The service here is fantastic; they will help you however they can.

I am grateful that Ride Bicycles exists. Every employee I have interacted with has been kind and down to earth. Haven't gotten any "cooler than thou" vibes. Not even once. I bought my newest Surly from them and the front brakes was pretty loud right out the door. They went above and beyond to make sure it was fixed and I was pleased. Super knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. I highly recommend this establishment. Also, the have a huge selection of cycling accessories for how small of a shop they are.

I've only been here once, but I was impressed with the service, and for the size of the shop the selection is pretty impressive. I purchased a set of panniers here that unfortunately did not fit my big cargo bike when I took them out. The return process was painless. I did buy a saddle bag at a fair price that works great with my cargo bike. I just leave my lock in it so I never end up out and about having forgotten my lock.

My first time in Seattle for business and had a great experience renting a Yellow Norco Sight mountain bike to go ride tiger mountain. The employees we're awesome They help me adjust the bike to my likings and the store is super nice with a lot of really nice mountain bikes and accessories I finally found that camo fox shirt that I was looking for at their store. If I am ever back in the Seattle area I will definitely return to their store keep up the good work guys.

This shop is by far my favorite bicycle shop in Seattle. The staff are all VERY knowledgeable and they always tell it too you straight. No high pressure sales tactics. The bikes and parts that they sell are good quality and very fairly priced. I work for a company that is very service oriented and it always makes me happy to find another business that makes customer service a top priority. The folks who work for this shop are true bicycle enthusiasts.

Service techs are tops, reasonably priced, and totally serious about their work. Surly is my brand. Norco is my wife’s. Love this place.

I have taken several of my bikes to ride bicycles. They have been kind with undoing my home repairs and fixing the bike in a correct manner. This shop offers a relaxed atmosphere but they work hard to get repairs and new parts on quickly. Great shop.

A truly first-rate bicycle shop. The folks at Ride Bicycles are helpful, smart, and laid back. The shop has a great selection of bikes and components, especially from Surly. I went to Ride shopping for a commuter / road bike / all-rounder and had a great experience test riding. Sam and Joe gave me the details, along with their opinions, without ever pressuring me to make a purchase. I went back to the shop three or four times to ride different bikes, and called them for advice more than once. After deciding on the Surly Midnight Special, Joe helped me shop for a dynamo hub and light, and did a nice custom installation on a Surly rack. When I brought the bike in for adjustments after a few hundred miles of commuting and weekend cruising, the guys in back dropped what they were doing and tuned the brakes and shifting at no charge (included with purchase). I have since moved to a neighborhood farther from the shop, and I still make the effort to bring my bikes back there for service.

My partner brought his large 63cm road bike in for a tune up and I liked his tune so much that I brought in mine. My road bike is used, so it wasn't really sized to fit me. They helped fix the fit for me and took the time to explain why. For the tune up they checked with me a few times before buying/adding parts that I might not want. My bike feels like a brand new bike. Now I can go faster.

The owner, Christiaan, set me up with a Marin Fairfax city speedster, which he customized for me so I could sit up, Dutch bike style (for my bad back), etc. The bike is incredible, genuine Lexus-quality. Beyond expectations. I love riding this thing. So I do. The shop, Ride Bikes is incredible, too. Christiaan and his team are good people, true professionals. It has been a great pleasure doing business with them.

Ioan walked me through what the other shop had done wrong and gave me half a dozen tips on how to avoid flats while commuting through the construction zones all over the city. Christian has chosen to hold a high bar for employees vs. simply looking to scale and it shows in the knowledge and quality of his team.

The guys at Ride Bicycles sold me the most amazingly perfect bike, they were dead on with every bit of guidance, they had me test half a dozen bikes to be certain. I've been riding my new bike daily for three months now and it's a whole new world! I want my Kona Rove ST buried with me when I die.

If you are looking for a good commuter bike, this is the place to go! I bought a Norco Indie 3 from them. The Norco bikes come with features, like disc brakes, that a lot of the other bikes in the same price point don't have. Christiaan was super helpful and low key. It wasn't high pressure like some of the bigger chains around. No crazy membership schemes or 'today only' deals. It was refreshing. They have a great area around the shop to test out the bikes. If you want a relaxed experience with low key staff, this is the place to go!
