This is an amazing bike shop. If you need some work on your bike, you will need an appointment a few weeks in advance. The repair shop/servicing center is very busy. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, they go above-and-beyond when it comes to customer service. Craig at this location, was extremely friendly and helped with all of my inquiries and requests. The service department did a good job getting my bike road ready. This will definitely be my local bike shop, for future biking needs.

Hands down the best store to purchase your bike at. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, whom arnt too pushy since they are not commission based. Great selection of bikes, accessories, clothes, car racks, you name it. Please, if you plan to buy a bike, don't go anywhere else. :-)

The frame of my favorite bike ever gave up the ghost a few months into Covid and I was devastated. It took me months to find a bike to buy. The first one was an online order only bike that is the worst bike I've ever had. The 2nd bike was a used bike from a neighbor with shot shocks and sticking/slipping gears that I cannot fix (a desperate supply chain issue buy). On the first day of real summer weather in Seattle, I went to Gregg's in Lynnwood. It's probably not good to be in a rush to buy a perfect bike, but I was, and Carson made my bicycle dreams come true. I came in and told him what I was and wasn't looking for in a bike, and he pulled down 1 of 2 in the store that met my standards, and it is beyond perfect! I ended up getting a Liv Rove in the beautiful color of teal, and all new gear (helmet, lights, gel seat for my bony tailbone 😆). I am 173-174 cm (about 5'8" to 5'9") and nobody has ever recommended a large frame bicycle to me before, it is perfect for my long legs, and the most comfortable bicycle I've ever owned. Also, she flies, I rode 25 km/12 miles like it was nothing. P.S. I am the girl who hates Shimano gears, and Carson literally sold me the perfect bike. I am not trying to do the Tour de France, I just love to take long rides around the lake. I came in with such vague details and requests too...ask for Carson! You will go home with the perfect bike. If my husband decides that he doesn't like my old road bike, I know where I'm sending him. 😊 Gregg's is the best bike shop, and the only place I will go now. Another perk is that they won't try to sell you a $10,000 bike fresh out of the gate. I appreciate you guys!

I came here looking for my first road bike and was helped by Drew. He did a wonderful job educating me on different aspects of a road bike I should consider and had me test ride a couple different options. I decided I liked the endurance bike because of his expert knowledge. I wasn't set yet on buying this bike quite yet, so I spent the rest of the day shopping around...which really there isn't anything out there atm. We went to about 4 other shops and Gregg's had the most options. But Drew was generous and put a hold on the bike I was interested in until the end of the day. I ended up getting the bike that evening.
I came back a couple days later with a squeaky disc break, likely my fault, and Kacey was able to help me get my bike repaired right then free of charge. I really appreciated that service and really just the entire customer experience in general. It was stellar! I am so happy with my purchase. Thank you guys!

This shop rocks.
The sales floor folks are very helpful and knowledgeable. And the mechanics have done an amazing job tuning up our bikes (yearly) for the las eight years.

I've been a daily bike commuter for almost a year now and Gregg's Cycle has been AMAZING! I've had service issues and they've always accommodated and kept me on the road. A+

I can’t praise Gregg’s Cycle Shop enough. Our daughter has had several bikes recently and all have caused her to fall and be very discouraged. We finally decided to go to the professionals. As soon as we walked in Rajan was ready to help and was so patient with both our daughter and our medically fragile son. AJ took the time to interact with our daughter during her bike tuneup and talked to her about all the things he was doing to keep her and her bike safe. This experience wasn’t just buying a bike, it was the beginning of a life long love of bike ridding for our daughter. Thank you so much for taking the extra time to make this a special experience for our child. We will continue to use Gregg’s for all our future bike needs. Thank you!

I came in with questions on my bike and riding in the area (just moved to town) and they kindly answered all of them, even helping me with a tire valve issue and checking my brakes. The sales and service team went above and beyond- they were all extremely helpful and friendly. I plan on coming back for all my biking need, highly recommend.

Found A Gregg’s Cycle sticker on my old 2004 Trek and decided to check them out. The guys in the shop were incredibly helpful and even fixed my flat just before close. Definitely will be going back.
Trevor Duncan
Excellent and expert service. I have Gregg’s do most of my maintenance and I also purchased a new Trek Checkpoint last Summer.
Manuel Ornelas
They were busy.
Went in with pedal issues, staff was extremely helpful and they even went out of their way to install them. Extremely great full. I just moved to the area and this will be my go-to place for any future service or help.

Awesome experience here! I've gotten help from a few folks but Luke and Michelle really stood out. Michelle provided really great customer service over the phone and in person when picking up smaller items, and was the reason I came in to order bikes for my wife and I in the first place. Luke helped us out when we came in to purchase bikes, explained the pros and cons of bike choices, helped us get fitted, and even changed pedals for me even though the pedals I had weren't purchased at the store. Plus the bikes arrived earlier than expected! We're both complete biking newbies, so their patience and help was greatly appreciated. Have had good experiences with all of the other members of the sales staff I encountered while there as well. And our bikes were perfect for each of us! This place will 100% be my go-to spot for anything bike-related even before shopping online. Thanks Gregg's!
Update: Have been back in the store multiple times over the past few weeks and can't say enough good things about these folks. First time working with the service department today and Travis was super professional and patient in helping me with an error I made trying to fix my bike. I was in and out in 5 minutes! I just wish I could remember the names of all of the folks who've helped me to give them the proper shout out. I think Andy, Ariel?, Darren? I wish I could remember, but suffice to say, this business deserves their 5 star reviews.

Great service and selection. There's nothing cheap about quality bikes, so expect to pay a premium.

The guys at Gregg's Green Lake had worked on my bike and on my first ride out, something was terribly wrong. The front cassette wouldn't shift, even though I had a new chain and new derallieur. I rode my bike out to Lynnwood anyway for a date with a friend and resolved myself to biking home in the rain stuck in low gear. Then: Destiny! My route took me past Gregg's Lynnwood and I figured I'd see if they could service my bike. That's when I met Travis.
He was working on other bikes but must have seen my distress and got to work on my Trek right away. He was very polite and respectful of the Green Lake location but found that they had installed my derallieur incorrectly, causing the cassette issues. They had also missed that I had a worn-out cog, which was getting used with a brand-new chain, and that they had left parts of the bike that affect the chain pretty dirty.
The guys at Green Lake had told me my new brakes would just be squeaky til they weren't. Travis gave a simple treatment that effectively removed the squeaking.
I'd also gotten a professional bike fitting a while back that Travis ended up adjusting in a way that made my riding much more effective like I can use the full power of my legs.
All this is great enough, but Travis's way of explaining things to me, as someone who bikes a ton but has yet to take a bike maintenance class, was super accessible. I felt heard and respected, and like he was really meeting me at my level of knowledge. I hadn't encountered anyone like this before in over a decade of biking.
Lynnwood is a trek for me but I will be bringing my bike out there for all my tune-ups and issues in the future. Thanks, Travis, for taking the time to help me out. When I got on my bike the next time, it felt like a whole new machine.
Suzanne
I've had nothing but positive interactions and support with these folks. Got my first bike in since I was a teen and I love it (a hybrid. Thank you so much Craig)! Repairs (I've broken multiple spokes and 2 pedals) have been wonderfully quick especially considering how busy all bike shops are.
Riz Rizwi
Met with Jacob in the service department and he fixed my bike by replacing the rear tire and tube; he also did a couple of other small things.
I really appreciate his help, did everything he could to make me happy as a customer. Definitely as asset to his employer.
Will
Excellent bicycle shop.
Ive been a Gregg's customer for over 2 decades, and they've always provided high quality bikes.
Since they don't work on commission, they really take their time and work with you to ensure that you get the bike that's the best fit for you.
Even now, with a big shortage (due to massively increased demand), they'll work with you and your budget to find the best choice. If your first choice isn't available, they'll give reccomendations about the best alternatives they can provide (including working with their other locations in the Seattle area), and provide a bike build that hits your requirements.

I came in to get the drivetrain fixed (cassette and rear derailleur) on my cheaper XC bike as it was not shifting and pedaling properly, I scheduled a service and brought it in. Travis was extremely helpful to what problems I was having with the drivetrain. We dropped the bike off the next day and within 1 hour it was done. After the service the bike was shifting and pedaling flawlessly. 10/10 would recommend this place.

I recently had a light fitted to my bike rack and the mechanic did an excellent job. I've been in the store twice now and have called a couple of times about head lights and panniers, both of which I bought soon after. I appreciate the friendly staff and great customer service.
James Fritz
Travis was amazing. He quickly and accurately fixed my loose spikes, tuned up my bike, and gave me advice on how to upgrade my wheels in the future if I am ever so inclined. 10/10, wonderful service. Yes, there was a bit of a wait due to a smaller staff on hand today, but the wait was with it!

I'm a picky customer who knows what the bar is for a 5-star, superior rating... and I RARELY give 5 stars. Gregg's in Lynnwood has fully earned a 5-star rating from me: from the normal (not forced) greeting to the quick response time (even though they were super busy) to the understanding of what I needed (without talking down to me), to fixing it on-the-spot. The price was reasonable for this exceptional service. Boom.
Benjamin Diego Santana
Wow came in for a flat for my bike and new pedals for the wife's bike and was surprised by the speedy service.
Knowledgeable staff and very friendly! I'm definitely a fan and customer for life.
Chris Sanderson
I haven't dealt with them before, and this first encounter was awesome! I scheduled my road bike in for a tune up and it was ready before when it was promised. I picked it up today, and was also buying some new gear. It was close to closing time and the staff didn't make me feel rushed to be out of there. I left right at closing with my bike & gear. Their selection is great, and best of all, every employee I've interacted with have been extremely friendly & helpful! I highly recommend them & certainly plan to be back!
Whisky Ridge
Full staffed and ready to help. Rolled my trusty old road bike in with a mysterious shifter problem. The tech dropped everything, knew exactly what was wrong and went to work. I picked up a couple small items and in about ten minutes problem solved with no charge. Thank you!

An overall great experience. We bought a used children's bike for our son
that needed repair and a tune up. Travis and Michael were both knowledgeable and friendly. They were up-front about pricing and did not try to upsell us.
David Terry
5 stars!! I haven't owned a bike in 10 years and Bradley was super helpful and had myriad answers and advice for my every question. He treated me very well and I am very happy with my new bike. Highly recommend!!
Gavin Docking
Outstanding Service. I bought a used bike on craigslist and brought it in to help me fix a buckled wheel, the service department fixed that and many more little tune ups to help me on the way all the way while teaching me about how to and what to look for. i work in customer service related field and these guys impressed me. In and out in about 30 min with lots of knowledge and cheep friendly service
Katheryn Pierce Kaminski
Fantastic experience! Craig helped us the entire way to purchasing our first road bikes. Extremely knowledgeable and talked us through the features, and advantages of numerous models. After several test rides we made our selections! HIGHLY recommend Gregg's and Craig specifically.

Dave in their shop was super helpful in addressing a problem I've been having with leakage from a tubeless asymmetrical wheelset. The staff is very friendly. Their prices are very normal for a bike shop that carries quality products. People unaccustomed to normal bike shop prices might think they're high.
In response to the review by Jody S below... Did she really think that a bike shop should accept a return on a bike that was purchased 5 years ago?!? She's delusional, and her review should be ignored.
Dave Mathiesen
I walked in with less bike than I attached the is morning to my car. The staff here did their best to find the right part at the right price. We looked at the options from replacement parts to a like model replacement. In the end we did a build up of the missing parts. Now I have a bike that is a bit better off, and my day went from a pretty poor Halloween to the best possible day considering the circumstances... Leaving me in far happier spirits!
Great team. Skillful and kind.
Thank you Travis!
Thank you Gregg's cycle.
Karen Dworkin
Thanks for the great customer service, new brakes and tune up on my Orbea. I know how slammed you guys have been, and I so appreciate all the time you took to get my bike working beautifully. Also, love love my new seat.
Matthew D. Hudson
I needed an inner tube and Gregg's was conveniently located along route where I was running errands in Lynnwood. The staff approached me quickly and were friendly. I was able to get the right inner tube and be on my way quickly. I'll be stopping by here again when I need bike supplies.

Excellent ! The gentleman repaired and serviced my bike in few minutes ! Gave some helpful tips . Thank you !

Knowledgeable staff; Elijah was helpful and patiently answered my questions, explaining what his preference was and how it had changed with time and experience. A little pricey but they appear to have less expensive alternatives available. I probably would have purchased more, but I was had credit elsewhere; but I found a nice jacket for a good price, which ended up being on sale.
No "hard sell" to get on their mailing list or anything, which was nice change. Will probably go back to get my cheap internet bike tuned up and adjusted.

Bought my trek 3500 2plus years ago from Craig. Was in getting some new tires was working with Drew. Ran into Craig today as well and he help me finally get a water bottle holder and it was the exact color. Both were great and know there stuff. Thanks again for all the great help. Next step is getting a soild fork for my mountan bike or a new trek marlin both seem like good options. Thanks again.

Shout out to my boy Tony for some of the best customer service.

I called ahead and was welcomed in for a quick chain replacement even though they were very busy. Travis in service was informative and very pleasant to work with. I will be going back.

Got my Craigslist bike tuned at Harvy's Bicycles recently. It was the most affordable option after almost being ripped off by REI.
The owner had strongly insisted on tacking on a spoke protector--an extra $15~20(?)--to which I reluctantly agreed (my bike enthusiast buddy later said it was unnecessary).
Was initially satisfied with the work, and then soon after, I kept hearing a loud, new-sneakers-on-linoleum noise, which started bothering me. I finally got around to taking the bike back to Harvy's; however, the mechanic merely tweaked the brakes a few times and told me the bike was "100 percent." Well, I am not crazy; I could still hear the noise! The guy argued that I should trust him because "[he's] the bike mechanic." I didn't want to waste my time any further, so I left.
Took the bike down to Gregg's nearby, and the mechanic there totally went out of his way to diagnose the problem. He concluded that the noise was coming from the ILL-FITTING SPOKE PROTECTOR!
He meticulously inspected my bike, found the problem, and best of all, he didn't charge me--I hadn't even been a paying customer! And to think that I had actually paid for services at Harvy's--a fact which apparently doesn't matter to the folks over there.
You truly get what you paid for at that store. If you don't mind that, then Harvy's is fine. I, on the other hand, will take my business to Gregg's from now on. Thank you much, Cory at Gregg's Cycle!

Took my bike to Harvy's to get new tires and a tune up. Explained to them the chain was jumping. Got the bike back and still had the same issue but now the bike was clean and they said it would take some riding to get the issue to go away ($160). Went to Gregg ' s and Alisha took a look at the bike told me my chain was having issues ($40 with install) she took it back while I waited, then she comes out and says I found the bad link, do you just want to replace it ($5). Some of the gear here looked kind of pricey, but I will be shopping here just for the service.
Murad Dweekat
Amazing place, you can find any thing you want for your bike. Very good prices in average, affordable parts and equipment, friendly staff and great services. Lucky to have it nearby.

I grew up with Gregg's Greenlake Cycle in Seattle for my biking and rollerblading needs as a kid so I was happy to see them open a store where I now live. My bike has experienced some wear with brakes, handlebars, and so on and the employees set me up with all the supplies to get things working again. I also picked up some padded shorts for a good deal since my bum got sore on a recent 35 mile trip around Whidbey. I like how the parking is more convenient then going to the local REI and trying to find a spot there; at Gregg's just pull right up to the front door and bring your bike in.

I had a great experience here buying a bike for my two year old. The woman that helped us was amazing. Looking forward to taking my new bike here for a tune up.
Dennis Chivers
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff in spite of the extreme workload and difficulties of working in this age of Covid. Stock is low and everybody apparently wants their bike maintained 'yesterday', so please be patient with them.
MaryKate M
Took my bike to a different bike shop yesterday. They didn't fix the brakes problem. Brought it to Gregg's and wow. So helpful, so attentive to details. Thank you so much!!!
John Bartlett
Gregg's seems to be the go-to LBS around here, but when I needed bottom bracket service on my ebike, they wanted a $30 surcharge plus $100/hour for the work, even though it was unrelated to any ebike systems.
REI did the complete job for $30. There are better alternatives to Gregg's...
Michael Innes
My girlfriend and I visited Gregg's Cycles to find what would be her first bicycle in over 15 years. We needed a guide that would help us get back into cycling and show us what to look for in an introductory bike.
A week earlier, we had learned much about biking from Tony at Gregg's Cycles Greenlake, but now we wanted to buy one closer to where we lived, up in Lynnwood.
At the Lynnwood location, Craig, the guy with glasses, helped us pick out the bikes that Tony from the Greenlake location had recommended. He ensured that any concern we had about biking was addressed, and that we felt comfortable with the bike we ultimately bought.
John Nelson
Fantastic service on a very busy day for them.
Got both bikes repaired in a few hours at a reasonable price.

Have been coming here the past few months for tune ups. They were friendly but showed up this morning and they seem to be closed. I didn't see any flyers saying they had moved so I'm assuming they're closed for good.
