What a fantastic large, local bike shop! Center Cycle is fantastic! I walked in with my eMTB I purchased from a different shop with a problem: two very specific, custom parts I had broken that could only be ordered from a dealer. Unfortunately, the shop where I bought the bike wouldn't help, but, lucky for me, Center Cycle would! David and team went out of their way to work with their Santa Cruz rep to order exactly the parts I needed. I was so impressed, I bought another mountain bike from Center Cycle that same day, and it took all of 10 minutes: effortless. Center Cycle has earned a customer for life; kudos to David and team!

I bought a bike from Center Cycle a few weeks ago, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. I noticed an issue while I was riding (some brake disk rub) and since when purchasing they said they would cover maintenance free for six months, I called them up to see if I could get it fixed. They fit me in the next day, fixed the issue, and even installed a cadence sensor I purchased elsewhere on the bike for me. Impressed by their customer service, and would recommend center cycle to others.

Very happy with the service here today- we’ve been in the market for an e-bike and found this place when researching who had the bike we wanted. Wished I had started off here to begin with because the service was excellent and genuine. Lots of knowledge without being pushy. It’s hard times for a lot of companies who can’t find employees so be patient if they are down a person here- they are worth waiting for and really come through with their service and advice.

Awesome place and good variety of bikes and bike accessories. When we called one of the staff picked up and said the bike we were looking for was unavailable. Then after a while we called again and the owner picked up and he gave us a newer bike and gave us a great deal. The bike that we got was also very reasonable for the price. Nice.

I needed a real good set of offroad tires for my Genesis V2100 mountain bike and these guys really helped me out. Bought a set of Butcher tires and they even installed them for me. These tires perform really well on rough roads. Anyone who has a mountain bike, I highly recommend these guys because they're freaking awesome. 10/10 would definitely come here again.

Center Cycle is the best place to go. There are other Trek stores, and there are other Specialized stores...but Center Cycle has both brands plus Electra. They also have all the right accessories in stock and technical expertise to fit you on a new bike or even repair that old garden shed bike you have with dust all over it. They've been in business for a long time...like 1985!

I was in need of that "First Crush" feeling!! Definitely not a relationship since I'm happily married. Hmmm.....new car, travel, pick up a new hobby, take classes? Since cycling is my happy place, how about a new bike! Happy to report after some research and dating, I've fallen for Ms Specialized Aethos Pro:) However very limited inventory nationwide.....except Center Cycle had one in my size! Working with Dave Groom he let me try her out several times, defrayed some of the cost, and swapped out at no additional cost a few components to my liking. Needless to say Ms Aethos is happily living in my basement. She would be in my bedroom but my wife nixed that:) Big thanks to Dave Groom and other Dave for making for an enjoyable / professional "dating" experience:) I highly recommend Center Cyle, both Daves and Specialized Aethos Pro. Happy riding cuz I certainly will!!

It’s hard to find a road bike this summer. I have visited couples of bike shops in last couple days. It becomes normal that certain road bikes were not in stock at store at the time of visiting. Since this was a bike for my wife, it has to be perfect. I was very excited to see that many of options in store today. Staffs at store are very professional, helped us along the way on nailed in one that even better than we expected. Love this store! I will definitely visit again when I am upgrading mine.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I flew into Seattle with my Specialized just to find out the dropper was malfunctioning the day before heading to BC for a week long biking trip. Their mechanic was out so the owner personally took the time to fix the issue - and at NO cost! Thanks for saving the day! Huge assortment of bikes -- one of the largest bike shops I've seen. Has both Specialized and Trek bikes (mostly) in every category and age type. Very friendly service, with store clerk providing good advice on bikes for different types of terrain. The store has lots of other bike gear and clothing too.

Nice spot, knowledgeable staff. I feel the best part of micro bike shops are the Warranties and maintenance plans they offer. This is pretty much like any other shop, 1 year and $60 tune ups (I think, might have changed, don't quote me on that price).

Came here fresh off the plane and bought a bike off craigslist. Road it right over to the shop and the guys were super receptive to my beginner road bike questions. They set me up with some gear and even were good enough people to sell me down on somethings that I thought I needed, but did not. One of their mechanics Greg is the only person I trust to work on my bike. He has personally solved two issues I couldn't repair on my own. Even though the location is a little out of the way for me, this is my go-to local bike shop. I was in the market for a new bike that could handle all the roads and trails of Seattle in all weather, and I received a great amount of help in navigating through their large inventory to find something that suited my needs in my price range. I ended up with a 2015 Specialized Diverge Expert which was one of the bikes recommended to me by the staff member who assisted me. A few weeks after purchasing the bike, I noticed there was some spoke noise from the rear wheel. I brought the bike back in, and they gladly took a look at it and tightened up the spokes quickly and free of charge. This seems to be a place that has knowledgeable mechanics who will stand by their work. PS they carry mainly Giant and Specialized, and a pretty wide spectrum of both companies' product lines. You can find a basic $600 bike or a decked out full carbon $8000 race bike under one roof.

Purchased my new Specialized mountain bike here and couldn't be happier with how I was treated. They gave me a great deal and helped out in anyway needed, really friendly staff and a wide selection of bikes. I live a hour away so for me it was not convenient and no one else closer had the bike I wanted ready built for me to test out but well worth for me to go back down to get some goodies for my new mountain bike. They pricematched my new helmet and I bought a few other goodies while I decided to go tubeless could not be more pleased. I'm not one to write reviews but I just had such a good experience with the guys at Center Cycle in Renton. Thanks again!

These guys are fantastic! Dave the owner is probably one of the most caring and nicest guys around. Peter is super friendly/helpful. The guy today who fixed my bike for free because it may have been partially there fault, can't remember his name, is great. If they don't get you setup to ride to your liking the first time they will make it right. Oh and they don't try to nickel and dime you but help you save short/long term. This bike shop sets an example of what all bike shops should be but aren't.

I'm all for supporting my LBS and so I got a good deal on a 2016 Crave and bought XT spd pedals and some other gear. Staff was really friendly. Dave the owner was accomodating and John was very helpful and attentive and will give you a test ride around the lot. They're very busy tho with so many customers flocking in so it may seem as if they don't know you at times after you've purchased a bike. Business must be good I guess. Would have given 5 stars but when I went to have my wheels trued (they have a 90 day complimentary tune up) after my initial ride at Dashpoint, Dave took it to the back and used his thumb to inspect the trueness. For a mega shop that sells Park Tools you'd think they'd boast of a shop grade truing stand and use it. I've been truing my own wheels for a decade and ill be truing them once i get my stand online since i left my old one in Texas. Overall, id say service is good and they give you fair prices on stuff.

One word, meh. Best thing they have going is their selection but rather unwilling to negotiate on price, or put things on sale, end of season. Wanted to buy two brand new bikes and they didn’t want to work with me in any regard. From what we’ve experienced, EVERYTHING is MSRP (or more) at their location. Can’t find a reason why I’d want to or need to shop here unless I was in a pinch. Service was “okay” but very inpimpressivd compared to other bike shops I’ve visited.

On vacation, I went into the Trek store at 1pm with my Trek mountain bike needing to replace a broken spoke and an adjustment to the derailleur. Asked if they could fix me up by the following day when we were moving on. They said no can do. I'm familiar with this shop from traveling and reached out to inquire about an online purchase. I spoke with two different employees after getting pulled into something at work in between. My second interaction was unfortunate and I was not planning to pursue a transaction any further at that point. I later received an unprompted return phone call and voicemail from the manager, who proactively apologized for the interaction and offered solutions. I was very impressed by the initiative and the genuine nature of his message. I did complete my intended purchase and would return to this shop in the future.

Good gear and bike selection. Knowledgeable technicians. Hit or miss with sales staff...some are very helpful while one or two act like you're a temporary annoyance who will go away more quicky the less they do for you. In the end, I think it's a good shop. If I pick a bad apple, I just ask for someone else or come back later.

Wife and I are new to the bike game and we came in looking to buy accessories galore for our new bikes simply due to our excitement. They straight up stopped us from going crazy and spending on stuff we didn’t “need” yet. I appreciate that level of service. Charles even entertained our six year old daughter by letting her ride a couple different bikes all the while knowing that she already has one that she will ride for a few years.
