This shop is really excellent. They carry high quality road, gravel, and mountain bikes. Their staff (and the owner) are knowledgeable and tell it like it is.
If you're looking for a high end bike shop with great service in Seattle, look no further!

Very friendly staff. Hannah did a great job tuning up my carbon road bike. There's a reason this place is booked a few weeks out for scheduling maintenance. They do quality work, and that is in high demand. I would highly recommend this place for all your bicycle needs.

Really amazing bike shop of you're looking for a high end bike and not shy to spend a little bit 💸 but the staff is super knowledgeable, helpful, and professional, and they have a bunch of gorgeous bikes and high end groupsets. Would definitely recommend checking them out if you want something spicy fast to shred the road with. …

I really can’t say enough positive things about Cascade Bicycle Studio and would recommend it to family and friends.
CBS carries limited stock in stores and focuses on custom bikes, but they offer multiple degrees of customization ranges to meet your needs. CBS helped me pick up a commuter bike that met my needs and perfectly fitted to me. They were able to order all the components and I had the best bike I’ve ever ridden ready to go within a week. They do offer full custom frames and more advanced setups then I was looking for, but I never felt they were trying to sell me anything and they were primarily focused on my needs as a rider. Five stars all day long.

I purchased an Ibis Hakka MX here after test riding several alternatives at different shops. We're lucky to have many great bike shops in Seattle but their focus tends to be quite broad or, if specialized, on commuter/utility bikes. Cascade is a performance cycling shop. They carry premium brands like BMC, Mosaic, Seven and Parlee and build to your measurements. However, counter to the high-end shop stereotype, Andrew, Joseph, and the rest of the team are down to earth, welcoming and value focused. Despite purchasing a *relatively* lower-end bike and build, I have always been given their full attention. In fact, they go above and beyond in making sure that I'm happy, even well after the initial sale. Andrew recommends the option that will work best for my goals and my budget even when I am willing to shell out for more. Their mechanical work is perfectionist at a reasonable rate. I know that I get the absolute best performance for my dollar here. As an accountant, this is highly satisfying :)
Keep in mind that when you are buying a bike, you are also getting the shop that sold it. We're fortunate that you get best in class for both here.

Fantastic bike shop with extremely helpful people. I have been looking for a bike for daily commuting. They set up a bike for a test ride based upon my measurements. After the test ride, they made some modifications (including swapping parts) based on my preferences. I was impressed how willing they were to help me find what worked for me. I felt welcome and free to come back multiple times to test ride and discuss options. I interacted with three people - all were great. I am not very mechanical, but they managed to explain everything to me. I am very pleased with the help and service I received - and most importantly love the bike I purchased there.

Just got back from Cascade Bike Studio and once again, another great experience. Several years ago both my wife and I purchased bikes here and Zac's attention to detail and getting us a good fit really set this shop apart. Service has been fantastic and we've had the chance to work with Terry, Jason, and David. I continue to be impressed.

Cascade Bicycle Studio is a great place to shop for bikes and to have your bike serviced. They always helpful and able to get my bike back up and running quickly. I can't say enough about the guys in the shop, they are the best. I love the bikes they sell as well, my BMC has been fantastic.

Originally went to CBS several years ago to test ride some Parlees and returned last year to order my dream bike -- a custom painted Parlee that my wife wanted to buy me for my 50th. Andrew and the team were a pleasure to deal with and, despite a few minor bumps with the manufacturer, made sure to get everything absolutely perfect in the end. Truly great customer service and the delivery of a perfect dream bike.

After a Burke-Gilman dust-up my front rim was all bent out of shape and was immobilized by the fork. I carried my bike down the trail for 15 minutes, and as I passed CBS I saw their door open and welcoming. The two guys inside could not have been more helpful and nice. They offered me ice and pain killers (I was fine but a little bloody) and swapped out my front rim in no time for a very reasonable price. They totally turned a very bad experience 180 degrees. Highly recommend.

Stopped in the other day after my tire was out of alignment. Was recommended by a passing cyclist who seemed like he knew his stuff. He was right, this place is great! The guy upfront seemed busy with some office work but the mechanic himself was super friendly and very nice. Will come back for repairs in the future! They fixed it up for free.99! (That being said it was a super simple problem that took 30 seconds to fix, but still! I appreciate it!

MY REVIEW IN SIX WORDS:
Best bike shop in Seattle. Period.
FULL REVIEW:
Cascade Bicycle Studio is a gem. After spending several years searching for a great bike shop in Seattle (you'd think it would be easy given cycling's relative popularity here in Seattle), I was prepared for more mediocrity when I initially sought out CBS. However, when I walked into Cascade Bicycle Studio that first time, I knew it was different. Zac, the proprietor, took time to get to know me first. There was none of the sales pressure I had encountered at other shops or the cold shoulder given once the salesperson found out I wasn't buying anything that day. Zac not only listened but asked me lots of questions. I wasn't prepared for that, but left delighted.
It wasn't until a year later that I actually worked with Zac on a bike project. During that process, I was impressed by Zac's attention to detail and his fitting expertise (Zac has extensive experience in this area from his time at Seven Cycles, a custom bike builder). Fast forward another couple of years and I've now worked with Zac on a total of FOUR bike projects (commuter, road bike, 2 cyclocross bikes). Each one has further solidified my opinion that Zac runs the best bike shop in Seattle.
In the time I've been a customer of CBS, Zac has opened his shop up to full retail hours (and grown his staff -- also friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable), grown the portfolio of bike brands he sells, became the only retailer in WA for Rapha, and he started some regular group rides led by his "CBS Ambassadors." However, none of this growth has diluted what is at the heart of the CBS experience - a great one-to one experience where you're treated with respect regardless if you're a hardcore roadie, a commuter, or anything in between.
I highly recommend you check out CBS the next time you're in the market for a new bike or even the next time you need parts for your existing bike. I won't go anywhere else.

I have been going to CBS since 2009, and find that they consistently delivery a great consultative sales experience and they go out of their way to ensure that I'm taken care of. I make a living in e-commerce, but CBS is a place where I'm very happy paying brick & mortar retail because the experience I have with CBS, and the finished products, are always a great value to me.

I went in for a bicycle fitting with Zac, from the moment I walked in the door, Zac was very helpful in understanding me, why and how I ride. We made some major adjustments to my bike which resulted in a dramatic improvement. I was having problems with my feet and hands going numb and we were able to make a major problem go to minor for me which is a huge improvement.
I would highly suggest anyone that loves cycling to stop in and talk to Terry or Zac, they are very professional and will earn more of my business.

Beautiful boutique bike shop with gorgeous high end bikes. Make no mistake, the prices here are high, but the bikes are unique and hard to find. This place feels like an art gallery for carbon fiber frames and titanium parts.

You are not going to find a shop in the region in the same class of CBS. Absolute pros with cycling history and passion. Do yourself a favor and give them a call for service or your next ride.

Wonderful, world class customer service! Diligently & intelligently sorted out (with helpful SRAM USA folks) an esoteric problem wrt (ultimately fatal) eTap fitment on a Cannondale SuperSix EVO Team frame. They stood tall & did the right thing for me even though I am sure certain they lost time and money in the process.

Awesome crew, great service. I was super sad when my previous LBS moved from Fremont, until I found CBS. Now I have a new LBS ❤️

Great boutique bicycle store, almost no stock, they are specialized in custom bikes and are absolutely great at it.

Great service and even better, fair advice. I can’t recommend them enough.
