I was nodded at when I walked in, but the three guys were involved in a conversation. I would like to get a bike to help get back in shape. The options aren't really clearly defined to someone who hasn't had a bike in well over a decade. Owen came over and showed me a few bikes that could work. I am glad I came and looked around. I asked about a stand to be able to ride the bike as a trainer and to be able to ride indoors so I wouldn't have to get a separate stationary bike and they don't have them here.

I've been using Trek for bike maintenance since they opened. They always surprise me at how fast they are! Other shops in town either make you get an appointment for 2 weeks out then take a week to get it back to you, but not Trek! They are skilled at repairing & maintaining any bike brand, not just Trek! The shop is super cute with local route maps on the wall & made to fit into the local New Orleans aesthetic, not what I figured a big company's shop would look like. 5 stars!

Excellent service and incredibly patient and knowledgeable staff. Very efficient and worked incredibly fast to basically refurbish an old trek mountain work bike. Awesome loaner policy while waiting for a part to come in for my road bike as well. Would definitely recommend and 100% will be returning when time to purchase new bike.

Super friendly and informative. I bought my bike in May and took it in for servicing. It rides and looks brand new again! Its been a wonderful purchase. I love my bike! If youre on the fence, make the investment! You wont regret it.

Enjoyed my visit. The staff was super helpful and took their time discussing their products with me. During my visit I placed an order for an out of stock item. A few days later the item was ready for pick-up. A staff member (Jacob) literally went the “extra mile” on his ride home to drop off the item at my house. Thanks Jacob.

The guy who sold me a bike bell was very friendly. He told me that he could possibly find fenders for my Townie that matched the pattern on the bell. He called around, found them and offered to order them for me. When they came in the tech put them on for me. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received at Elmwood Trek.

I am new to the area and have dealt with many bicycle shops in the past. This one stood out from the very first contact. Will Wherritt and all the other staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They took excellent care of my madone. They also introduced me to the cycling culture in NOLA and took the time to explain the common group rides that I should check out. Even though they are somewhat more distant than other bike shops, I will still be back to this store for my bike servicing and my upcoming upgrade!
