Cruiser bikes, kept in great condition, were just the right kind of comfortable for a tour of Nashville. Austin & Austin escorted us around safely, helping where needed for seats and handle bars to be adjusted. Beautiful day, great start for a visit with plenty of walking to follow. Cycling is one of the best ways to familiarize yourself with a place.

What a BUMMER!!! On a beautiful day to ride bikes with the kids I realized I had a flat tire. Thankfully, I was able to get my tire fixed, my son's brakes adjusted and we were back in business! I can't say enough about the care, concern and friendliness shown by the staff! (Especially Austin) We enjoyed the sun, rain and the short 4 mile ride thanks to Green Fleet! ****the one in the middle isn't too excited about the bike ride***** 😂😂😂

I have done maintance on my road bicycle probably since they open. Always go in and out if is something easy. However I had special break Handel's that took a bit longer but love the additional breaks that are easy to get a hold of from the front of the bar or on the sides.

Great service. We've been taking our bike there for a while and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They did evaluations right away and usually when it's a small thing, like a flat tire, they fix it on the spot. Pretty fast and reliable service. I recommend it. And as a bonus, they have a very special staff, featured in this picture. She came to day hi while we waited for the service and it was a great experience.

Great experience! Purchased my bike here and Austin was very patient on finding exactly what I was looking for. After a month or two owning my bike, I had an issue with the peddle I brought it in on a very busy Saturday with humidity blazing and they didn’t miss a beat. I had a great experience here! I recently purchased a stationary bike and shoes, but I was having such a hard time getting the clips into the shoes so I gave Green Fleet a call to see if they could help out! They told me to come on over so I went over with my shoes and I was in and out of there within 10 mins, clips on! Very positive experience. Despite a wildly crowded shop, Austin juggled his numerous customers well. I received quick, friendly service at a fair price from everyone at Green Fleet. Will definitely be back for tune-ups on my Jamis and any other biker-related stuff I might need. Wonderful bike tour of downtown with Chris today- he is very knowledgeable and caring and considerate of the riders- this is 2 1/2 hours but you’re not riding the whole time. Some uphills but nothing you can’t handle is you’ve been on a bike before.

They are welcoming and accommodating to to both expert and novice cyclists. I can't think of any other store, regardless of industry, that has made a point to welcome customers like Green Fleet Bicycle Shop. I'm not originally from the Nashville area and so I wasn't sure where to go when I wanted a bike. I also felt like it was a lost cause as I'm working with a college student budget. Austin reached out to me and gave me the opportunity to buy a bike that met my needs. Once at the shop, Richard was extremely kind and very helpful (I am a runner and know nothing about bikes) and was able to answer all my questions. This definitely isn't a bike shop that you visit just once. You're going to be welcomed regardless of your knowledge of bikes, and you're going to want to go back to experience the great atmosphere of the business. I'm hoping to join in on group biking sessions once the weather warms up. Being 800 miles away from home and family, I feel I've found a crew that brings home a little closer. Thanks Green Fleet. WOW! These folks are so sweet. I was looking around for a bike to rent with a cart attached for my daughter's 4th birthday, but was striking out everywhere. Enter Green Fleet. These kind people responded to my email after learning that it was for a little girl's birthday, and said they could definitely work something out. The next day, they ended up lending us this amazing bike with a low wooden cart in the front, I've never seen anything like it, and it was perfect! It made for a very special birthday ride. I dropped off my partially assembled bike and the only problem is that they finished a little too soon! I moved to Nashville last year and have been looking to start biking regularly ever since. About a month ago I got lost on my way back from a yoga class, and as I was meandering down Jefferson street, I impulsively decided to stop by Green Fleet Bicycle Shop. Really glad that I did. I had spent some time window-shopping at Halcyon and was looking to possibly purchase the Breezer Uptown, but had been told by my bike friends that it's important to shop around. From the moment I stepped in, I felt completely comfortable and well-attended to in spite of the apparent busyness of that day. I told Richard what I liked about the Breezer, and he recommended a few bikes to test ride, which had similar features. It took me a while to decide, and he even let me eat his KIND snack bar while we chatted about my options. The customer service at Green Fleet is just that good. They treat you as a person and friend from the moment you walk in. I ended up buying a beautiful off-white Linus. Also, I hate when I get a sales pitch instead of just being presented with information and options in a laid back way. At Green Fleet I was never pressured at any point, but Richard had the knowledge to point me in the right direction and helped me pick out the perfect bike, which is why I finally bought one. I ride it all of the time now, and I've been told there's a complimentary bike tune-up 6 months after purchase. Austin leads the slow rides on Wednesday nights and does a fantastic job of fostering community and bringing people together from all different backgrounds. I also took a bike tour from Chris, one of the part-time guides at the shop, and had a great time learning some of the hidden history behind the city. Experiencing Nashville through the lens of a bike tour is a completely unique experience and I can't wait to do it again with these guys.

I had an old trek that probably had not seen use or any maintenance in over 4 years.Took my bike in on Wednesday expecting it to be done in a week or so. Got a call the very next morning telling me my bike was finished and ready to go. Not only did they completely restore my bike, they also gave me a discount since I put so much money back into it. Nathan also gave me a follow up call later after picking it up to let me know what all he put into the bike, and what I may need in the future. Won't be needing a new bike shop anytime soon.

My friend and I decided to book a bike tour since we only had one full day to explore the city. It is the way I prefer exploring a city whenever I travel. This tour did not disappoint! Chris, the guide was fun and knowledgeable. Not only did we see the hot spots you would expect to see in this amazing city, but we explored the bike paths and many other great "not so touristy" parts of the city. Great stories and great fun! As visitors on two wheels to Nashville, my other half and I were both shocked and thrilled to discover a Brompton dealer south of Chicago. This was especially true because TSA had done minor damage to my Brompton and more significant damage to its hard case. Green Fleet not only repaired the bicycle but also sold me a new hard case at a very fair price, delivering it the same day to our hotel at no extra charge. In addition to carrying a surprisingly large stock of Bromptons in the most "bike-sexual" colors imaginable, Green Fleet sells a wide range of other excellent bicycles including Surly, my regular ride of choice. It was a pleasure meeting Austin and Richard, who are both extraordinarily competent and extremely customer-friendly. I've ridden my Brompton in many other American cities but I've never ridden it to any bicycle shop that I like better or respect more than Green Fleet.

On a beautiful day in Nashville, we had a wonderful bike tour ride with Green Fleet Bike Tours. Our guide was a really nice guy who combined a nice ride through downtown Nashville with some history of the city and city landmarks. The bikes were easy to ride, comfortable and Nashville is a very bike friendly city. We felt like we got a good look at downtown Nashville while getting some exercise and enjoying beautiful weather. I would definitely recommend this activity.

I have not done a bicycle tour yet, but I've ridden on several Friendly Rides that start at Green Fleet. The group leaders are great, and they won't allow anyone to ride without a helmet or without first reviewing safety procedures. My parents came to visit me in Nashville and I told my mom about these bicycle tours so we decided to take one. I learned so much about Nashville's history and downtown. My favorite place on the tour was the farmers market. We ate at the Indian restaurant in there and got some juice from a Mexican place. Our tour guide Jason Haggard was excellent and was always encouraging as my parents aren't avid cyclists. Since the tour my parents have bought bicycles and have been going to the park in their home town to ride. I would recommend these tours to anyone who's interested even if they hadn't been on a bicycle in years.

As a Canadian, I'm used to biking in colder climates so I jumped on the chance to book a bike tour with Green Fleet Bicycle Tours in Feb., 2013. Luckily for me, (and perhaps a bit unlucky for Austin!) they did offer bike tours at this time and Austin braved the cold to show me his city. Even despite a small administrative error, where my tour was accidentally booked for another day, Austin found someone to watch the shop and quickly found some warm clothing to wear so he can hop on his bike and show me around. I had a fabulous time riding a little Fuji around town and Austin is a great guide, full of knowledge and love for Nashville. He even offered me a great price to rent the Fuji for the rest of my stay in Nashville so I can avoid the slow public transportation system. Thanks to Austin and Green Fleet Bicycle Tours, I saw parts of Nashville that I would never bother to catch during my short visit.

Online reservation process was simple. Price was comparable with other shops in Nashville. Received quick e-mail confirmation and reminder a couple days before renting. Shop was simple to locate, though parking is tight. Staff had bike ready for me along w/a map, They mounted my pedals and off I rode. Took a couple stops to once again become accustomed to rim brakes, but had no emergencies where disk brakes were required. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would rent from them again.
