This right here s a good bike shop. good service, good people, and all the parts you need. I have come here many times looking for the smallest screws and bits and they always have them. The only reason I'm taking a star off is because their selection of gloves and socks is a little under par but over all a very good shop.

I received the most fantastic service from Charles, when buying just the right sized cross country skis. With Covid, many more people are skiing, so area shops are sold out. Great Experience! The staff member helping me was so knowledgable about the products, helped me to find good deals, and was patient and friendly while I made my decision. Valley Bike and Ski went the second mile for me to get everything I needed. I said my bike didn't have to be ready for a couple days, and it was ready in a couple of hours. Great service and good prices. I had an excellent experience buying downhill skis. I was immediately helped as soon as I walked in the door. I bought skis, boots and poles, and I appreciate it that the very knowledgeable sales person sold me gear appropriate to my skill level and needs. They didn’t try to upsell me, they showed me different levels of skis and boots. Even though they are very busy this time of year they had my bindings mounted and my skiis ready in just a few days. I bought skis for my daughter a year ago and had a great experience too.

Phenomenal experience! My husband and I are first-time bike buyers and Will was incredibly helpful in explaining the ins and outs of finding the correct bike for us. He explained the differences of the different models, and literally provided a top-notch end-to-end customer service experience. Once our bikes were ready to be picked up, we met Paul and he helped us pick out helmets and additional gear. Will then went above and beyond and helped us to get our bikes home as we do not yet have a bike rack. 10/10 recommend going to Valley Bike & Ski for all your bicycle and skiing needs!

We recently purchased cross country ski equipment at Valley Bike and Ski. Throughout the process, all the staff was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The fit and sizing of our skis, boots and poles is perfect and they quickly got the bindings on the skis ready so we could get out and enjoy the last bit of snow. The bikes we purchased there last spring are also perfect for us. We greatly appreciate Jeff and his team. They consistently provide great customer service!

Went in to get my son new ski boots but realized after getting there that the boots he has are perfectly fine for the season. Valley could have easily sold me new boots and charged to set bindings etc. but they didn’t! And I think that’s awesome! While I was there I explained what I didn’t like about my skis and the staff went into great detail about features and benefits of their products. So, went in expecting to buy a new pair of boots and left with new skis for myself. Haha! Merry Christmas to me! Valley is a great place to shop! Thanks for the service!

I bought a new bike. Talked to people on the phone before I went in. Dealt with a few people when I went in. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. My speedometer wasn't working after 2 day so I brought it back, It was just a dead battery. Customer service was the same, everyone was very nice and helpful.

I want to echo what Shirley said about Jeff and his team at Valley Bike and Ski. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional but with that down home personal touch. This is the second major purchase we made there. Last spring we both got outfitted for road touring bikes. They knew how to fit us for exactly what we were looking for and, we love the bikes. You will not get more friendly, personal service anywhere. Plus, their prices for the best name brand items are better than any of their competitors. Check them out before buying anywhere else. You will be glad you did.

All around great experience. Bought a new bike and had my road bike tuned up. All is well. Because of my age I was concerned about getting back on the road again after a 4 year hiatus. All around great experience! I came in early evening on a Saturday to buy a full set of skis for my 4 year old son and myself. I haven’t skied in over 15 years so I forgot all the basics. Tiley and the manager were very knowledgeable and explained everything about boot fittings and skis. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the time they both took to help us. I didn’t notice but we came in about 30 minutes before they closed and they didn’t rush us at all and we’re in the store well after closing. Excellent customer service and highly recommended!

I was in a pinch due to a race that weekend and VBS fit me in even though they were also jammed up with Spring business...they made it work. You have a wonderful store you could really make it a huge success if you add a simple thing to your store. Kayaks,Standup paddle boards. I like the concept of the paddle sports should be added to drive sales because we the consumer have limited places to go in covid18 environment. We are in a staycation mode. I took my six month old grandson's stroller in for a wheel repair on a Sunday, I arrived ten minutes before they opened and there were people lined up waiting to get in. This was the day before a holiday and I just knew it would take a few days for a call saying it was done, after all it was a stroller not a bike but they called me that same afternoon letting me know it was done. Best ski and bike shop I have ever been to. I decided to get back into skiing after moving to MN after a few years ago and was skiing on a 20 year old pair of skiis. I was clueless on the fancy new equipment, but Jeff took over an hour helping me and enlighting me on new equipment and I was comfortable making a big purchase on my first visit, which is rare for me. Their prices are very competitive and better than most places so I did not have to worry about pricing. The next day when I went to pick up my new skiis I purchased some other items where two gentlemen were extremely helpful and very pleasant to talk to. You will also find nicer and more unique gear here than big chain stores. Bike section looked awesome as well. I will return in the spring for cycling needs. Highly reccomended, this is the place to go and fanstastic owner and staff to help you.

I didn't buy my Mountain Bike from Valley, but I did take it there for service. I took it in to get new tires, tubes, fix my front shifter, full adjustment on shifting etc. I dropped it off late on a Saturday afternoon expecting they would have it at least for a few days. To my surprise, I had no more than got home and started a project when my phone rang, it was Valley telling me that my bike was done! It was literally like an hour and a half since I had dropped it off. When I picked up the bike there were some odds and ends that I was interested in buying, the service guys were extremely helpful. They were just as eager to show me some tips and tricks so I didn't need to bring the bike in for certain things, much appreciated since I am pretty mechanically advanced to begin with. I just about fell over when the bill came and it was less than $100, especially considering that was new tubes, tires, shifter repair and what amounts to a full degrease and tune up!!! Extremely satisfied with the service, they have my business from now on without exception.

Can't say enough great things about my experience with Valley Bike and Ski. I was looking for a new mountain bike, did my homework and I found what I wanted; the 2015 Felt 7 Eighty/27. I found a local dealer to me (NOT Valley Bike and Ski) and after talking to them about buying it that day, I walked out without a bike...not happy with the service. I went in, chatted a bit, but when it came to the bike, I didn't get my questions answered and was told certain adjustments couldn't be made, but if I was set on them I could buy aftermarket junk to put on my brand new bike....no thanks. They wanted a sale. If I'm going to invest that kind of money in a bike, I expect certain things. So I searched to find another dealer and found Valley Bike and Ski. I called Valley Bike and Ski that evening, asked if they had the bike I wanted in stock, which they did, and after speaking to the guy on the phone, told him I'd be down in the morning...mind you Valley Bike and ski is an hour and a half away from my house, so it's a gamble in my eyes! They started putting it together that evening as I said I'd be down in the morning to pick it up. I got down there a little after opening. I was greeted by a very pleasant and UNBELIEVABLY knowledgeable young lady! We found my bike on the rack and I hung out while a bike specialist ran through that bike top to bottom. I wanted to swap out pedals and add a water bottle holder which was their pleasure. Once dialed in, They rolled it out to me and ensured its fit was right for me, made controls adjustments, seat, handle bars, etc. Talked about bedding the disc brakes and other more technical items I wouldn't have given much thought to. I left Valley Bike with a brand new mountain that I love, and also an education pertaining to it! Knowledge is power! I drove my car down as it was so far and they helped me get it loaded and ensured it wouldn't tear any seats and everything. Also made sure I was comfortable with the minor reassembly once I arrived home with it. Thanks so much Valley Bike and Ski. Even considering your distance from me, you'll get my business every time. Couldn't be happier with the entire experience!

Valley Bike's mechanics have bailed me out at the last minute not once but twice before major off-road bikepacking journeys. Apparently I have a knack for breaking something on my bike during the final hours of my prep before really long rides. Twice I've rushed into the shop during their evening hours, past the time I'm supposed to leave town, and they've stopped what they're doing to fix my bike. Both times they were efficient, thorough, and got the job done within an hour while I waited AND for a reasonable price too!

I had a great experience with Valley Bike and Ski. I live in Hastings and was going to Woodbury (erik the bike shop ) or Apple valley. I needed a new tire. I called Erik;s and got but got put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called Valley Bike and Ski. The guy told me it would take 5 to 10 minutes. HOLY COWS 10 minutes and I was out of there. I would recommend Valley Bike and Ski.
