Kevin VVI typically do my own bike repairs, but anything I can't or don't want to do, I take it to Tonka Cycle. Today I discovered I had a bent derailleur hanger. Once again, it was far more practical to "leverage" their special tools and expertise for this repair. They completed the work quickly and for a very reasonable price. Considering their excellent service, I also like to buy bike parts, ski gear, and sports nutrition here to help ensure they continue to thrive as our local shop.

Employees have been super friendly and patient with a novice bike rider like me who asks such questions such as, "so, is my bike healthy?"and "I don't even know how to put air into my tires...can you help me with that?" Today, Eli helped me find a rack for the back of my bike and even installed it for no charge; he certainly didn't have to, so I really appreciated his generosity of time and knowledge. I would feel comfortable returning here anytime I have a bike-related issue or question!
Westyn M. BodellMy favorite ski shop. After going into so many local shops and feeling snubbed for being a beginner I felt at home at Tonka. I’ve since gone back multiple times for different items and different sets of my skis. Can’t beginning to recommend enough, especially for ski boot fittings! Don’t skimp, get the inserts.
HerkyHawk RI took my son's park ski's here to have them center binded. The staff opened the door an hour early for me to drop off the skis. They finished the centerbinding the same day while other shops quoted me two weeks. They perfomed the appropriate testing and communincated with me. They also priced the center binding at a much lower price than other shops I talked to. In short, Tonka Cyle and Ski provided the highest quality lowest price quickest turnaround than all other shops I spoke with. While in the store I also noticed an awesome selection of high quality ski gear. I was impressed with the shop and highly reccomend it. The staff was great, price was right and service was awesome.

After a long absence from the shop, I purchased a new Otso through Jason and had excellent experiences with Brett and Tyler leading up to delivery. They setup the bike with pride as if it were their own and even matched zip-tie colors to the bike's scheme! They were as excited to present the bike to me as I was to pick it up! Top notch service that is hard to find these days.
c0deWas a great experience, my wife and I came in looking for one or two bikes. Found a salesperson who was extremely in helping us pick out bikes. Took a ride around the parking lot to test it out and ended up leaving with a new bike and some accessories. We have another one on order and are probably going to get a third bike
Bill LevineI have been an avid cyclist for over 45 years in the metro, and by far, Tonka Cycle is my Bike shop of choice over all the others. Everyone in the shop from the sales people to the master mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable, and love their job. This is the only bike shop I have ever known that when you bring your bike in for repair they actually do NOT turn you away and say you will have to wait three weeks. They immediately put your bike up on the stand in front of you and give it the once overor repair it on the spot if it does not require major work. All the mechanics take the time to throughly explain what is wrong with your bike when you bring it in-- and I have never felt that they did not have the time for me. Jason, Tyler, Brettand the names go on--It is hard to find a shop these days that even have one master mechanic--but Tonka has many. For all your bike needs--whether you are a novice or professional--a mountain biker to a roadie -a fat tire or ebike--Sales or Service--Tonka Cycle and Ski does not disappoint.
