Last summer I started looking for a new bike and I decided on a Marin Presidio 3. I contacted all the Marin dealers here in the Twin Cites and no one had a clue when they might be able to get one. I tried again in late winter to no avail, I contacted Rochester Cycling and they said that they could get one, not only could they get one, they tracked the container that it was on. I absolutely love this bike and I am very please with the level of service I was treated with.

I brought my front wheel in for a new tire and tube. They were very happy to come and help, and the prices were very reasonable for the repair. I had them replace the back tire last year, and the turn around time was quick and the bike shifts and rides wonderfully. I highly recommend them for all bicycle needs.

I'm a casual bicyclist but I purchased my first serious (expensive) bicycle from Rochester Cycling at the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was a bit apprehensive making a large purchase while being unfamiliar to the bike world but the staff at Rochester Cycling made me feel cared for. Workers took less than a day to get my bike built. I ordered my bicycle via the website and found it easy to use, and appreciated the option to pay with my credit card in person. I highly recommend the store for cyclists of all levels.

All employees are knowledgeable about bikes and cycling in general and are great guides to find what suits your needs and preferences.Great at performing repairs, replacements, tune-ups. Comfortable atmosphere in the shop, always welcoming to customers. Provide good information and guidance, not heavy "sales" pressure. Recognize "cyclists" come in all sorts of levels of experience, ages, fitness and ability levels. I've bought 2 bikes from them over past 15 years. An aluminum and a carbon. And they've done adaptations on handlebars for each, as I'm a 65+ cyclist. Great place! Highly recommend to friends and relatives!!

Thank you so much for the great service! I was visiting from out of town and needed a quick fix on my bike. Not only was Rochester Cycling the most affordable place I called, they were also willing to do the work right away and get my bike back to me the next day. I also bought a couple of accessories and they put them on my bike at no charge. However, the best part of my experience was the store employees. I was greeted immediately, asked a few times if I was being helped (when I was browsing), and every person I talked to was very friendly and helpful. My experience at Rochester Cycling was excellent. I was searching for a specific bike and Rochester Cycling was the only location in MN with it in my size. The process was very smooth -- they had the bike ready for me to test ride when I arrived. I worked with Andrew and he demonstrated the best ways to get on/off the bike (first time with drop bars!). After the test ride, he ensured I had all the things I wanted/needed (lights, bike lock, water bottle cage, etc.) -- making recommendations along the way. I ended up selecting a different bike seat and we went back outside for another test ride to ensure it was the right fit and Andrew adjusted the height, as well. Overall, I definitely felt like I got personalized service, which resulted in confidence in my new bike & accessories. I've already recommended this shop to many friends and will continue to do so. I am new at Cycling and have had the same bike since I was about 12, fast forward a few years and now at 29 I realized it might be time to upgrade. My knowledge is very low in the cycling department and I walked in hoping to find some help. Josh dropped everything he was doing at the time today and was excellent at explaining everything to me. He took the time to show me all my options, low end all the way up to high end, explaining the main differences to me. He was never pushy trying to get me to spend more than I needed. I've read reviews on here where people felt they were made fun of for having a bike from Target or Walmart; mine was from Fleet Farm way back in the day and there was no feeling of being mocked for having that or still using it. Just the mutual understanding that it no longer fits my needs. He was very respectful and again took the time to properly fit me to the bike. I have not made a purchase yet, but he did get one on order to try out so now I'm just waiting for the call for when it arrives. The store was clean and organized. I'd recommend Rochester Cycling to anyone that doesn't necessarily know much about the field yet, I was very happy with my first time experience there and all my questions were answered!

This store is amazing. Talk of great service. Bike nerds with a knack for patience. Took my husbands MTB for service and fixing. Matt walked up to us and was so helpful. Took his time and gave us options and realistic timelines to get the replacement parts. We then looked around , we are in need of gear and nutrient replenishments. He advised of the next shipment. We talked bikes and he did a search and provided us with technical comparisons and recommendations based on our biking experience and needs. I’ll definitely be coming back to Rochester Cycling. This store felt like home. Reminded us of our home store in Woodland Hills, CA.

Love this bike shop. As a new rider the staff was really patient with me in helping me find a bike that fit my riding style and needs. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly and they took the time to answer the plethora of questions I asked without any condescending attitudes that I experienced at the other shops in town. They have a great selection of bikes for all ages. After test riding a bike, I realized the bike I wanted was not something they had in my size in stock. However, the staff ordered the bike and had it ready for me a few days. Great job! It's a smaller store so they don't have a large assortment of other bike related products, but the staff/owner is ready to make recommendations for items that they have both instock and in the "wearhouse".

Went in for some maintenance on an old bike I use for commuting, and the staff was extremely helpful in deciding what to replace and what not to. They were honest, knowledgeable, and polite. Understandably, they were busy with a lot of bikes in for tune-ups and quoted that they would be complete with the work in two weeks and that was exactly when I picked up my bike. I came to this bike shop with an emergency cycle issue; my pedal was stripped from the crank and the bike was not ridable. I came to the store close to before they closed to get it fixed. They fixed it right away, even though it took them until 20 minutes after their closing time.

Went in looking for a Shamino twist shifter for a bike, they looked for the exact part didn't have it, then offered to order, or convert the bike to lever shifter for high mid low range. The lever shifter, and new handle bar grips cost about a little over 30 dollars but worked better then the factory parts. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew where the inventory was or might be. Store appeared well maintained at first glance.
