Stopped in Pioneer Cycle this morning to find a new bike for my daughter. We were immediately greeted by employees eagerly awaiting to help us. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. She found a new bike that fits her size and maturity perfectly. Will definitely be back for future purchases!

Wow. The customer service at Pioneer was amazing. My wife and I stopped in at the beginning of the week mostly kicking tires and seeing what’s out there. We were greeted promptly and got great help from bike experts. With the supply chain issues since COVID I was surprised by how well the store was stalked. Denise was able to show us a few different bikes for both me and my wife. Spencer helped us as well and did a great job explaining the differences in the models we were looking at. I am best fit in a size Large bike, and Spencer told me I could order directly from Giant and have the bike sent to them for assembly and setup. I was amazed at the willingness to sacrifice some of their income to make sure I got the bike I wanted since they didn’t have Larges in of one particular model I was looking at. I ended up ordering mine on the Giant website and had it shipped to Pioneer. From the time I placed the order to when the bike came to them (two days) they called to confirm that I had ordered the bike, then let me know if came in and finally when the bike was ready (all quicker than I expected). I stopped in to get the bike and buy one they had in stock for my wife and Spencer and Denise were both very helpful again. I never felt like I was being sold. We selected a few accessories which they promptly installed on the bikes for us and we were on our way. They then came out to help me load the new bikes, and even showed me how to use the tailgate pad I was installing on my truck, which regrettably I didn’t buy from them. As a family business owner (I bought my parents’ business) it was really awesome to work with another family business. I hope that we deliver this kind of experience to my customers. Phenomenal customer service, very friendly quick service for what I needed to be done. I appreciated them listening to my needs and concerns and kindly suggesting so great addition products for my bike. Consider visiting Pioneer in Blaine. I don't believe you'll be disappointed, I plan to buy and have serviced my 2nd bike there as well. I needed some adjustments and the bike rides smoothly. Over the years I bought many bikes from Troy & Denise. I have my bicycle's serviced there yearly and anticipate the time I get to catch up with the latest topics of the day. Just beware of discussing Hockey! You might be there a while. :)

We are very happy with Pioneer. They tuned up my bike quickly and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. They then took the time to help me choose and properly fit a newb helmet. Very reasonably priced.

They have an amazing selection in stock and can even special order as in my case, I had them special order a Jamis bikes Boss 7 speed 23” cruiser fast delivery and was assembled and ready to go within one day, this is amazing customer service!!!!!

If you like to shop at local, non-chain, mom-and-pop-type stores, where old school service still reigns, then this is THE BIKE SHOP for you! I have had my old bike serviced and upgraded, and also purchased 2 new bikes at Pioneer and couldn't be happier! They know their sprockets from their spokes and are willing to share their knowledge with you, so you don't end up with a bike or accessory that doesn't fit your needs. Plus the lifetime service on new bikes is a great perk and a real value. Although some bikes may be in short supply right now, great service isn't - at least not at Pioneer!

We recently purchased 2 bikes from Pioneer Cycle. What a great experience. They really took the time to show us the difference between bikes, and made sure the bikes we picked out both fit us physically as well as making sure they were going to be a good fit for how we rode. As our daughter grows, we will be back to purchase her a new bike. Going back is not an 'if' it is a 'when'. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new bike! BTW: Prices were fair, service was OUTSTANDING! If we are being treated right, the price becomes less of a focus point. See you next time!

Their customer service is very good, not surprisingly, it's been a family owned business for over 40 years, and now have the 3rd generation working there. Overall this is a great local bicycle shop for families or an individual to purchase a bike. They also have a good line of accessories, and a repair/service center.

My husband and just bought two bikes from Pioneer Cycle. We had been looking seriously for replacement bikes for the past 1-1/2 months. We visited several bike shops but kept coming back to the folks at Pioneer because we’ve have a positive experience with them in the past when we purchased a bike for our daughter. We also went there several times for routine maintenance. Our recent purchase was also positive. Over the course of weeks, we tried a number of bikes and sizes. Each person who worked with us was informative, helpful, and yet low pressure. They genuinely seemed to care that we get the right bike—style, fit and price. We ended up purchasing two Giant Sedonas and are very satisfied. We would highly recommend Pioneer Cycle (and we love our bikes)!

I had such a great experience with getting a new bike! Going in I had no idea what kind of bike I wanted/needed. The store was very busy but the staff came to help me promptly with getting the best bike I needed for my size! The store did not have my size of bike on hand (xsmall) but it was super easy to be able to order my bike! When you purchase a bike from them you get free tune ups for life! I highly recommend them and what better way to buy local!

They are AMAZING! I've been taking both my mountain bike and road bike to them for the past 8 years and they have been nothing but wonderful at fixing, tuning up, and even NOT charging me at times for little fixes on the spot. And, yes, I ride a ton! When I took my 1994 mountain bike to them for a tune up after years of riding they only charged me $25 because they said it was in such mint condition they didn't feel they could charge me for a full tune up! Don't go anywhere else y'all! Honesty and integrity here!

The consistency of high-level customer service and overall care has been unparalleled. We have referred family/friends who have all come away with positive experiences. Here's an example of how this team went above and beyond - I had the unfortunate experience of having one of my road bikes stolen. It was purchased in 2008 and I did not keep the receipt. They went into their cold storage unit to dig out a paper invoice so I could make a police report and valid claim on my insurance. It's refreshing to fully trust where you're doing business.

I went here at the beginning of summer looking for a used bike. They had only 4 used bikes left because everyone buys bikes in the spring and early summer. They felt bad and gave me a screaming deal on a high end bike, but I will say not the biggest selection (ON HAND) they can order all kinds of stuff for you. Free tune ups for life and they guy working was very friendly and explained it basicly covers everything other than new parts and major time consuming repairs. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Plus you also get a discount on any miscellaneous things you buy the whole first month because you never think of all the extras you want for your bike until you are out riding and get thirsty..better go buy a water bottle holder. Why not buy local when the prices are the same and you get free maintenance.. its a no brainer! *UPDATE Had such a good experience I went back with my girlfriend and we picked out her a new bike too!
