Nice bike shop. Down to earth owner is straightforward and gives good advice. Now Bike and Fitness will try to sell you everything the minute you walk in the door. Nokomis Cycle is just the opposite. No pressure. Great repairs at a reasonable price. Easy to get there. Driving from Little Canada to his shop on a Saturday afternoon took only 17 minutes!

We brought our bikes to Nokomis Cycle to get a basic overhaul (~$100 each) after not getting them tuned up at all over the last 15 years. Dwight did a great job getting them cleaned up and ready to ride for the season. I had initially reached out to several other bike shops in the area (some place that has a bike man and another large outdoor recreational equipment retailer) and they both had very long wait times (up to 6 weeks) to get our bikes in and cleaned. I brought our bikes in on a Saturday morning and Dwight had them done by Tuesday afternoon (he was closed on Sunday and Monday). So, service was good, price was decent, and timeliness was fantastic! It's a bit of a drive for us, but we don't buy a bunch of stuff for our bikes anyway and it's nice to support a small, local business.

Dwight’s the man. Super friendly and takes excellent care of your bike. He has great prices/turnaround. Definitely have been burned by some bad mechanics at Eric’s in the past so it’s nice to have a shop where you can trust your bike is in good hands.

I’ve been going to this bike shop for over 7 years, I’ve had bikes fixed here many times, I bought a brand new bike with Dwight’s recommendations (owner) and I love it to death and it was the price I would have paid anywhere. I told him what I was looking for and he found it in minutes. He’s a super cool guy, I’m really happy to have a business like this in the neighborhood.

My bike rides better than it has in years, and this includes right after getting much more expensive tune ups (twice the price) from another shop in town. I'm definitely coming back for all my repair and supply needs. Dwight, (the owner/operator) does great work and was super nice.

Good, honest shop. He's busy because I'm not the only person who knows that this is a good shop, but he takes the time to explain the products, and doesn't try to sell you what you don't need. Not much apparel, but plenty of bikes and ESPECIALLY bike PARTS. Fair pricing, too! Ya don't stay in business 20+ years by shorting your customer base.

This place is AWESOME! I had never gone to a bike shop before, but I reaaallyy needed a tune-up. I ride my bike daily, and it was just getting run down. I walked up the street to Nokomis Cycle, and went right on in. The shop is super cute, small and had a ton of variety. There was a cool display bike that was Ghostbuster themed, super cool. I let the guy know I needed a tune-up and whatever else my bike may need. He was a man of few words, super nice, super knowledgeable. He called me up a few days later (super busy because of Corona and everyone wanting to bike) and my bike was ready! He even put on new grips, and a new waterbottle holder- lord knows I needed 'em. Very affordable, and glad to support a small and local business, now more than ever. Would recommend this shop to anyone in the city. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure than man in charge is named Dwight and he's your guy. He offered me the quickest turnaround in town. Also, the place isn't dripping with pretension like some other places I've been in the city

Owner is a great guy. Support your local LBS. Stopped in for a tube with install after futzing with a flat and failing and was charged less than half what I paid last time at an Uptown shop. I'll be back!

I got a secondhand mountain bike with a blown tire. I brought in just the tire and rim, 5 minutes later I'm out the door with new tube, and tire mounted on the bike. Great service and tons of cool bikes in stock. Awesome coffee shop next door also.

Dwight, the owner operator, is a good honest dude! He single speeded an old mountain bike I have. When I first got it back it wasn't riding well. He apologized and fixed it and made it right. He also did a tune up on my other bike. I live in the neighborhood and I'm lucky to have Nokomis Cycle as my LBS!!
