Had a great experience buying a bike here. Got good tips about how the mountain bike would feel and a nice kickstand. The bike expert, Tom Lais, was extremely helpful and had a perfect demeanor for the customer service required of a busy morning at opening. Hope to bring my wife back for a bike as well.

I have always received friendly and knowledgeable service at Freewheel. I’m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to bike mechanisms and I particularly like the fact that I’m never talked down to by the good people at Freewheel. They are always very helpful. Recently I came in with an issue I thought might cost considerably and Jamie fixed the problem, saving me what could have been a hefty sum. As I wanted, Tom was helping another customer and included me in the conversation, sharing bike stories and making the entire store experience enjoyable. Tom even helped me to my car with my bike. Thanks for being a wonderful service provider in our community!

The service personnel are willing to take on any unusual mechanical challenge, with wheels, brakes and cables to resolve a problem for customerseven if it isn't for a bicycle. My mother and I came in to get bicycle extension handles installed on her rollator, which is a fancy walker with a seat and hand brakes for safety. The brakes have cables running internally in the frame tubes making installing the extension handles rather complicated. The sales and service staff were so helpful and friendly solving our issue successfully. They're all great liaisons to the public in the bike community and the neighborhood community! We love the staff and have always appreciated the shop, even before it was a Freewheel shop. They've maintained that same caring, concerned and dedicated to satisfaction neighborhood character.

I brought my bike in for a tuneup. Tom and the mechanic helped identify what needed to be replaced and which level of service the bike needed. They were attentive to my needs, made recommendations on parts and listened to my thoughts about the bike. The work was completed within a couple of days and the bike looks new again. I'm looking forward to many more miles on my bike.

It is a pretty good bike shop. I bought a few accessaries and tools there and had some returns with no problem. People are very friendly. However, if you buy a new bike from the shop but end up disliking it, it seems you can only get store credit back within 30 days. I found the policy a little restrictive.

Great service. This shop has assembled my bike and packed it for flying multiple times over the past few months. My home mechanic even stated the bike was packed beautifully the last time I flew. The staff are so helpful and work around my changing schedule.
