Vic is a great guy, completely restored my bike had one or 2 little problems took it back and Vic fixed it right up on a few minutes and even double checked everything else on the bike great place to get your vintage bike worked on or even restored defiantly a spot with some personality

PLEASE DISREGARD ANY OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS YOU HAVE SEEN ABOUT THIS SHOP
My husband and I had two bicycles that needed adjusting. The gears were never working quite right, the brakes needed adjusting and my handlebars never stayed straight - regardless of how much we tried to tighten straight- no matter how much tightening my husband did to them. Our experience at Vic's bicycle repair was nothing less than 100% enjoyable. The bicycles ride perfect and the price was very reasonable. Stella and Bentley were very welcoming!

Took 2 bikes in today for general maintenance, thinking I would drop them off. They got right on them, made all adjustments very promptly, made a huge difference. Vic answered all of our questions, would highly recommend. Cool shop, cool dogs

Had a great experience talking with Vic and learning a bit more about the mechanics of a bicycle. We came in for some used rims so my roommate can build his own spinning wheel. We'll definitely be visiting again.

This place is awesome! You can tell Vic loves what he does for a living through his work. There’s been a bike shortage during the pandemic so I haven’t been able to buy one anywhere. Vic was able to restore an old Schwinn road bike to perfect condition and gave me a lifetime warranty on it. Definitely recommend!

Great experience at Vic's Classic Bikes. Bought a new electric bike their this past Sunday. They are the only dealer around for Ariel Electric Bikes. Perry Knew a lot about the bike and the company, told me all about them, spent time with me as I test drove. Vic went out of his way to deliver the bike on Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend these folks.

I believe people have posted negative reviews because they misinterpret Vic’s personality. His assertiveness and straightforwardness has been misinterpreted for unkindness
It is my honest opinion that Vic is a good* man and runs a great shop. I recommend this place over the other bike shops in town. He knows everything about bikes, and will give you honest answers.
I will be back soon to have my single speed bike (which I bought from Vic) serviced.
All the best to you. Dalton.

Bought a 70's Raleigh 10 speed here last year for a very reasonable price. A few days ago while out on a ride, the chain broke. I brought it into Vic's today and he fixed it right away, no questions asked and at no cost to me. Vic and Perry are nice guys and Stella and Bentley are great dogs.

Got new tires and intertubes as well as a tune up for my fiance's bike. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job with the bike for a fair price. Job was done the next day. Definetely coming back if I need work for my own bike

Vic is great. Unbelievable selection of classic/vintage bikes and every part you could ever need. Needed a part for a Sturmey Archer 3-speed on a Sunday and he had it in stock. Unreal. He stocks all sorts of Brooks saddles, Thousand Helmets, and other cool stuff you can’t find except online. This place is as much a bike museum as a bike shop and no one is more knowledgeable than Vic.

I had a rear derailleur problem on my way into work one day & I walked my bike into Vic’s (now defunct Highlands) shop, expecting to drop off the bike & Uber into work. He dropped what he was doing & inspected my bike immediately. He happened to have the exact right replacement derailleur on the shelf & he had me back on the road inside of 20 minutes! Also, the price he charged me was totally reasonable. He made a customer for life that day. Sadly, I don’t live near the Preston Highway location. I’ll probably make the drive anyhow.🙂

Friendly, fast service. Very helpful and inexpensive. Cute dog named Bentley. Highly recommended. Now sells ebikes but call for info as he sells them as fast as he gets them in.

Stopped in to check the place out, and had a wonderful experience. Even tho we didn't purchase anything this time. The guy working there was excellent with all the knowledge he dropped for my friends and I. On our next group ride we are swinging by before riding over to the park, even if not to buy something new at least for a quick tune-up on the bikes. Great prices and with a knowledgeable staff definitely one of my new favorite places in the highlands.

I’ve bought a few things here and there from Vic, and he’s always been very helpful. The shop is also very cool with a large collection of classic road bikes. If you come in when it’s not too busy, he’ll show you around and give you a tour of the shop

I went to Vic's to use my bike voucher from the Earn-a-Bike program at UofL. I was looking to check out the PureFix fixed gear bikes, which are a sweet value and look great, but instead fell for a beautifully restored Trek road bike. The voucher came with a free gift- in my case a very nice U-lock. Vic was helpful and insightful and his shop has a very comfortable vibe- And also an awesome dog. I just got back from my first long ride and the bike performed great and had obviously been well serviced. I'm very grateful for the Earn-a-Bike program which granted me such a sweet new bike.
I'd highly recommend anyone, especially those with the UofL bike voucher, to check out Vic's Classic Bikes.

Vic is in there working hard! He wants to make sure you will use whatever you intend to buy. He offers great advice and even gives you some pro tips to extend the life of your product. Such a friendly atmosphere. The house dog won me over too. :)

I bought a Fixie bike here about 6months ago, after going in just because he was open on Sunday. Great job tailoring the bike to me, good personalized service. I enjoy going back for parts and accessories.

Love this guy. Vic's very knowledgeable and funny, and he clearly cares more about making sure riders are safe than making a buck off them.
