Excellent support team by Trek and their staffs (Jeremy and Dan). I would give a 10 stars if I could I joined the Tour De Summerlin for the very first time the past Saturday. I am from Los Angeles only here to join the ride. Also I had never been to this Summerlin area and not knowing where I was when I had a bad tire pop riding in a local area. The event host past by within a few minutes and knowing that I couldn't go on without a new tire. So they sent the Trek support team that sponsor this event. When Jeremy and Dan arrived, they quickly bring out from the fully equipped van with the tube, tire and help me to replace my tire. Also they had suggested me to re-disk my bike when I'm back to LA as I didn't realized my tire was too close to the frame fork. I also asked them that I have no idea why I kept having drop chain with my bike, they were able to quickly identified that my chain was just too long and helped me to cut off some chain for a perfect fit. Wow, they surely make me felt like I was getting a first class service from Trek and their roadside assistance team. At the end, I was able to finished my ride at the end. Thank you so much for your support and service. Great job Tour de Summerlin.

A very nice clean and large store that has practically every model Trek offers and all the accessories to go with your ride. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Shaun was very knowledgable about the products and helpful with my needs. The prices are reasonable. Was expecting to pay more!

Im a brand new beginner . I have zero experience in bikes and equipment but Nick was absolutely awesome . He realized I was new to the hobby and did his absolute best to recommend what I needed . Didn’t talk down to me like I was dumb. He was very patient and informative. The store is kid friendly and your allowed to test ride the bikes . All in all a fantastic experience . I purchased 2 bikes but will definitely continue returning to this location

I just want to thank Shaun, Nick and the rest of the Trek West crew for resolving my issue with my Gen 6 Madone frame. It was still under warranty and I was just expecting a Gen 6 replacement frame, instead, I got a Gen 7 frame. I decided to try Trek Bicycle Las Vegas West for my last road bike tune-up and had a great experience as a first timer! Both Nick and Tom were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when explaining what services my Giant Avail needed. I felt the cost of the service was reasonable and I didn't feel pressured in any way to purchase services or gear that was unnecessary and/or overpriced. I was offered an option to increase the gears on my bike, however, and I am already reaping the benefits of that upgrade after one day out on the bike. I wouldn't have even known that was a possibility if they had not mentioned it. I can't believe the quick turn-around in service! Every staff member at Trek I came in contact with had a smile on their face, a great attitude, and a willingness to help. Trek made a great first impression on me.

I ride a Dogma (Pinarello). Just moved to Vegas from Chicago, had a flat and for some reason could not get tire off the wheel- it felt like it was almost glued on.. went to another bike shop- the service guy looked at it and said yea looks like it's glued on, we're going to have to cut it off, you will need a new tire- leave it with us it will be a day or two... I sensed I was being scammed, as I never heard of a clincher being glued on ( I do have tubulars that the same bike shop in Chicago worked on, but why would they glue on clinchers?? it just did not make sense). I went to Trek, the bike Mechanic took about 5 seconds and said.. yea.. these are on there pretty well, but let me see what I can do... (his opposing thumbs were much stronger than mine) and he was able to get the wheel off in about 30 seconds, and told me I had another 500 miles or so left on the tire if I just wanted to put in the tube (which I already had with me)... I asked how long would it take? he said.. about 5 minutes- I said.. you mean like right now? he said don't you want it now? .. 3 minutes later.. I was driving home with my tire on the wheel ready to ride! Thank god I've found my new bike shop in Vegas!

I’m a truck driver. When something goes wrong with my #Marlin8, I can’t drop it off; I need it fixed right away. I also have my son with me right now and the same goes for his #Specialized #StumpJumper. Today, there was an issue with his rear derailleur. It ruined our ride, but Chris did us a solid! After discovering that the cable was pinched by the bottle cage I added to the under side of the frame, he removed it and tuned it in right as rain.

Eric was really knowledgeable, listening to what we were looking for in a bike and pulled down multiples to test. We knew a little after doing some research however Eric really went above and beyond! There was no pressure to buy or up-sell, just an avid bike rider sharing his experience. Went with the Trek Dual Sport 3 hybrid! Nick from the service dept was also great, he prepped, tuned and delivered to our front door. Overall great experience!

Visiting from Texas, June 2018. This is THE PLACE in the greater Las Vegas area to rent a bike. Everyone at the South Fort Apache Road location was super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Bike rental was great. Quality equipment available. Michael, in the service center, helped with rental. MICHAEL IS A TOP NOTCH EXPERT!! I am an experienced rider, but he still took time to go over the bike, the area, the local road bike routes and even performed a quick bike fit adjustment. What a great experience! I rode out from the store to Red Rock Canyon and back. So... two must do things in Vegas... Rent from McGhie's and ride Red Rock Canyon and include the loop. THANKS!!!

Great selection of bikes to rent. Did all of the selection online and when I had a few questions I got through quickly to store which answered all of them during a quick call. Walked in, got bike and was out the door in 5 minutes. Same on turning bike back in ... 5 minute process. Made my Vegas work trip tolerable by riding 40 miles each morning out in the Red Rock Canyon area!

The service was good. Got my grandsons flat tire repaired. They fixed fairly quickly. I also purchased a liner that goes between the tube & tire to make it more flat resistant. I've shopped here before. I thought they offered a military discount, but today's visit, when I asked and they said they did not. My only complaint.

35 years in Henderson, I used and made purchases in McGhies, but none as important as my last visit. I scheduled a trip to the East coast for a ride and needed my bike packed for shipping. The guys were spectacular in their customer service and get to it’ness. It took them one day and the bikes were ready for pickup. The hassle of my having to pack two cycles properly made the choice and cost to use their service the best choice for me. Btw it was cheaper to let them do the job all factors considered. We stopped at another snowboard place down the street and no one was interested in helping us. As soon as we arrived at Mcghie’s we were greeted and welcomed. Out salesman was very informative and helpful. He went over the different snowboard options, helping us pick the right board for us and it was on sale! He also put bindings in the board that were on sale too. I was really happy with our experience. I will definitely be back.

Chris was great!! Friendly knowledgeable staff. Fitted my daughter for ski boots and took the time to make sure everything was right. Will definitely go back for my other ski gear needs. Update: I went back and John was super awesome!! I came in to buy skis and he asked questions to find that I will be skiing Japan the next few seasons. He got me set up with the right kind of skis and boots. He fitted the boots and took time to explain how to get the best fit. He was nice, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. They weren’t able to mount the bindings but told me I can come back at the start of the season and they would be happy to do it for me. It’s hard to find customer service like this but every time I’m at McGhies they make me feel like I’m the most important person to them.

Had a great time on a mountain bike ride out of the Blue Diamond location. The bikes were waiting for us and in excellent condition. This was a great bike shop!! The people who work there were really knowledgeable about the area, and had a great selection of full suspension bikes for a reasonable price. The trails leave pretty much from the shop, which makes it easy if you don’t have a bike rack. We will def definitely be coming back.

McGhies staff were terrific patiently explaining all the great features on the mountain bikes they sell, arranging a demo ride at their Blue Diamond Outpost so I could confirm I liked how bike rode on actual trails and best size. When my new bike was ready they carefully explained how to adjust it, maintain it, practical tools for the trail, etc. They are a great shop and I look forward to using their wealth of knowledge and advice to fully enjoy my new bike for many years to come.

I really like Mc Ghie's bike repair shop. I brought my Rad Rover in because I thought the front wheel needed TRUING. The shop owner, checked the wheel but told me that it was just the TIRE I installed was not seated all around. He used some soap solution and showed me how the tire seated better. He charged me just $10 for checking the spokes, and the air pressure. I like this shop. They are reasonably priced and I will likely bring my rad in for brake pad installs and other minor repairs. They sell some serious HIGH END E-BIKES.

Chris helped me right away to fit my ski boots. He was very friendly and knowledgable. His fitting solutions were right on. He modified my canting, added a foot bed to support my arch, and punched out the shell to make more room for my ankle area. I was able to reuse my old custom foot bed instead of buying new ones. My ski stance is now more centered and much better than before. The pressure spots were gone and I was able to edge my skis much quicker and more powerfully. I feel like my new boots made me ski much better than before! What a difference. Well done Chris!

I had come in to look for a pair of snowboard boots and Chris was very helpful in explaining the sizing and how the ratchet system worked. He was also helping a few different people at once and was able to give just as much attention to everyone while answering questions or going to the back for different sizes. Very glad I went to McGhies, the service was excellent and having the boots be heat molded was just an added bonus.

Just have to share with you, my husband and & I had just an overall wonderful & amazing experience with your company. From the beginning to the end, the experience was top notch! We were pleasantly surprised for how quickly Amy reached out to us after booking the tour. Amy made us feel at ease and genuinely appreciated with her attention to details prior to the tour. Once we met Bobby, we all quickly developed a positive rapport. He arrived early at the hotel, instantly made us feel at ease and ride to shop went so fast as we were chatting the whole time. Through the whole ride Bobby ensured we enjoyed every moment and expertly tailored the ride for us. Having ridden road bike, I honestly thought "Shoot, this won't be that hard"! Ha! Was I sadly mistaken, esp after the first downhill portion...even being a small one...I freaked out. Bobby again expertly guided me through and helped me overcome my road biking mentality...lol (specifically, mt. bikes are made to ride over rocks, don't avoid them.) He took his time to evaluate my skills and easily knew how to explain what I needed to change to ride safely as well as enjoy the ride. By the end, even with a minor spill (bc I didn't listen) I am completely and totally excited to mountain bike again....all thanks to his guidance. I was introduced to Mcghies 10 years ago when I bought my first road bike. I spent quite a bit of money back then for it, but that is expected for a road bike... Roll the clock forward 10 years and not much riding recently, I went in for some simple stuff like new tires, advice and such. The customer service was top notch! The guys at McGee's are very knowledgeable on their mountain bikes and road bikes. I only gave them three stars because I went to purchase a bottom bracket tool for an older Square tapered bottom bracket they did not have the tool in stock and said they probably wouldn't Order anymore because nobody uses the older bottom brackets anymore. I purchased a bottom bracket I figured they would throw it in my bike for free since they did not have the tool available to sell. They charged me $25 to put in a bottom bracket that took a less than 10 minutes to do. I felt that because they didn't have the tool for me to purchase to do my own work on my bike that they would extend the customer service I'm putting it in free of charge. I was the shop owner here in town for many years I extended customer service on incidences like this just because it was the right thing to do and I wanted return business. I felt the day that I went there at McGee's that they were only interested in making a buck. I was also there to inquire about purchasing a new bicycle but after my experience there have to have change my mind I will purchase from another store in town

They are always very friendly and its all hands on deck with their customer service. I've been to other bike shops and I've had ok service and not so good service, at McGhies you almost feel like a member. I'm not the type who is hard core either. Mcghie's gets a 4 star rating for being competitive in the Las Vegas Valley. I purchased a bike, but it took them almost a full week and 3 phone calls to be able to get my bike prepared. Overall, I am extremely happy with my bike and the staff is knowledgeable when it comes to bikes, skis, and snowboards which is all that really matters anyway.

Went there get an old used tire. I expected them to charge me 5 or 10 dollars for thier trash, but they just gave it to me! Asked if I wanted 2, but only need 1 so said no thank you. Told them I just needed the rubber for stilts, and they thought that was cool. Very friendly!

I was in and out 3 times looking at bikes and ebikes. I had a lot of questions, I was unfamiliar with ebikes and the staff patiently explained the different type of ebikes, and how they work. Sean(spelling) took me on a demo ride, that is all it took to help me decide an ebike was for me. I went back for accessories, and Sean was helpful again. I am excited about getting back into bicycle riding, and grateful McGhies staff took the time to help me make a good informed decision.

After I found a used bike on the internet, Pat checked it thoroughly, built it and fitted me (all within 24 hrs!). He also helped with getting a good and safe helmet and other accessories needed to get started. I rode my first 20 miles and my new bike is awesome. I rented a bike on my visit to Las Vegas. I thought the rental was very affordable ($40/day). They rent for 24 hour periods, so I was able to rent one afternoon and do a bike ride to red rock canyon. The website didn't work well -- they generally want you to make reservations for the website -- but the staff were very accommodating. With the bike rental, they also gave me a helmet and water to go on my ride, both much appreciated. After my ride and waiting around for a cab, I think different staff walked by several times and asked if I needed help -- quite attentive.

Hi all, just wanted to share my experience with McGhies in LV. On an mtb trip in May and found that in the hot weather my Sram Guide brake's were acting up. Phoned a number of shops including the "big guys" and got no help from any. The last place I phoned I was put on the line with Pat in the shop and he new all about the issue and a recall involving my brakes! A half hour later my brake was being repaired while I shopped and all was resolved quickly and efficiently. When you are on the road in the middle of a trip it is nice to know someone in Vegas has you covered! Came in for a flat fix, the service tech on Tuesday the 12th missed the thorn in the tire and said that they don't put the goog in tire to prevent that issue, so went on a ride on 13th and flat after 8 miles. Went back and the young tech Apollo not only found the thorn in tire, but hooked me up with a tube that already had the prevention product in tube. So on 12th 0 stars , but good old Apollo was a stud 5 stars.

I went in with a 10 year old, never used snowboard and 2019 bindings. Of course, the bindings would not fit on the snowboard without an adapter. The staff person knew immediately how to fix the problem, and went to the back and got the adapter and installed the bindings within a few minutes. I was so relieved, I had him help me pick out a set of bindings for my daughter's board and install those as well. With adapter.

I had rented a bike from a bike shop, other than McGhie's, for the 2016 Summerlin Tour. I had a flat about half way through the ride and found a 1 each tear in the tread of the rear tire. I had a spare tube but didn't think it would last because of the location and size of the hole. I contacted the bike shop I had rented the bike from and was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to try and make it as is or find another way back. I used a dollar to cover the whole and put the spare tube on. I continued the ride in hopes that it would hold. A mile and a half later I hit the Blue Diamond aid station. Fortunately for me McGhie's had a bike rental and repair shop there. I talked to Chris and he took care of me like I had been a life long customer. He put on a new tire and gave me a spare tube as a back-up. And, he didn't charge me a dime! It don't get any better than that folks. I am from out of town and just picked a bike shop to rent my bike from, I know who I will go with the next time.

Very happy with the tour we booked for our high school age son during our Vegas vacation. He’s gaining experience in MTB and it was reassuring to have a guided tour for him for safety and since he nor us knows the terrain. We visited the Outpost and were given Amy’s contact info. She thoroughly assessed by email and Strava his experience level, interest in the type of tour and instructor he wanted, etc. We brought his bike so they discounted the regular tour price.
