Fantastic bike shop. The entire staff has been great, especially Tim Moody. I brought in my 2020 Scott Spark for a warranty issue. As you may be aware the last two years to get parts has been a challenge. I was told by Scott Bikes it would take a while to get me a new part. Tim and the crew worked with Scott to to get me a loaner part so I could at least ride the bike, until the replacement arrived. Thanks to Tim and Brendan I was up and running again on the loaner part installed on my bike. I really want to emphasize that Southwest Bikes helped me and I did not buy the bike from them, but that didn’t matter to them. Southwest Bikes treated me like I’d been coming to them for years. They did see the warranty process all the way through, and I will remember that for my next purchase. I will also recommend them to everyone I ride with. Just a great local bike shop because of the people working there.

Called earlier in the day & the shop picked up, gave accurate and helpful info and was overall accommodating. I came in for a stroller issue and they greeted me right away, took the stroller back, and fixed it pretty much on the spot. Relaxed vibe. Dog super friendly. Guys willing to help out. Great service from the front to the back!! The shop is a 30min drive from home but I’ll make it again without hesitation. Had a flat rear tire and the team helped me understand what was going on PLUS more, including making sure I’ll get better rides in on the terrain I usually ride 😍 Wow! This is a tight run ship and a well run organization. I coud tell right away when I walked in that the employees were especially mannerable and willing to help with whatever I needed. I wondered if it as a family run business, but probably not. Just good people. They were knowledgeable about every thing that I had a question on like the electric bikes versus the dirt bike or mountain bike. I originaly came in because I bought a toddler bicycle for my son brand new someplace else, but it wasn’t put together very well. The long haired blonde guy in the back helped me out and was very courteous, quick, and knew what was wrong right away just by looking at the bike. Thank you very much for your help and cheers to what’s obviously a great team!!

Great walk in experience. Was immediately greeted and helped. I came in looking for a strider balance bike for my son and they had several in stock. My son was quickly fitted for the right size and the shop took off the pedal kit in the color strider that he wanted. Also, another great reason to come back here, the store offers a kids buy back program, which is perfect for when my kiddo inevitably outgrows his strider. Overall great experience. They will definitely have repeat customers with my family.

I live in Michigan and during the time of quarantine I was unable to get the bike that I had been searching for. The staff at Southwest spoke to me at length and discussed every aspect of the bike with me. I ended up ordering a bike and it was shipped timely. I had a warranty issue that they helped me to correct without delay. Great place! I wish they were closer! I would use them for all of my cycling needs.

I can't raise enough praises for this bike shop, and for Pat, who helped me through my mechanical issue today (10/09/2020). I've been to SWB a few times before to browse and buy a few minor items, and was always impressed with the vibe. Today, I needed a derailleur adjustment. Pat is the ABSOLUTE best. He took me under his wing and spent so much time with my concern, and solved my problem promptly and thoroughly. Pat, thank you so much! My bike rides great again! And thank you to who I thought was the manager (I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, Sir, I didn't catch your name. I'm a dummy and apologize.) - I throw you all the kudos possible for managing one of the greatest bike shops I've ever been in. Don't stop guys, you're nailing it! The owner Rocky was very nice and patient when I was buying my bike. He delivered it to my house and noticed an Army sticker on the back of my truck. Rocky asked me if I was a Veteran. I said yes. He Said they have military discounts for Veterans. I was a happy camper as he offered to comp me a bike helmet since I had already purchased my bike. Southwest Bikes made this Veteran very happy just for a thinking of us and offering a discount. Thank You Rocky and Southwest Bike staff. Even though customers could not go inside the store, the service was excellent. Just went there to get a flat tire fixed and I was met at the curb by a friendly worker. They were bringing bikes outside for other customers to view and test ride, and were super helpful and professional. One of the owners actually fixed my flat and made adjusted my front brakes. I will definitely be back for any future purchases or service.

Every employee we have met here has been very friendly and hard working. They give the impression that they are dropping whatever they're doing to help you out. Often they will knock out your repair/work while you wait/same day versus sending you away with a 5-day+ wait. Also, their shop prices are great.

I brought my son in to get an adjustment to his bike as the derailleur was bent. When we were told it would be 3-4 days before repair due to number of repairs ahead. We were worried about the wait, as he uses it for work and needed it next day. Our tech said 'no problem' - took it back into the shop area and 10 minutes later we were on our way with a fixed bike and a very reasonable repair cost. I agree with the other reviewers- this place is fantastic ! very responsive to a customers needs and professional to boot!

I brought my bike into the shop Tuesday before they closed to have a new dropper post remote and cable installed. They had completed the work and had my bike ready to go by mid morning Wednesday. It was such a fast turn around and the price was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of repairs.

Dropped my bike off here on Wednesday, since the weather had been getting perfect he let me know it may take till the weekend or Monday morning. They called on Thursday and it was all done. Mind you my bike is just a budget entry level bike from sports authority but from the moment I walked in they treated me so well. He gave me a price for a tune up to the gears and brakes. Here is a place that understands its better to groom a relationship with a customer, and when you as good and polite as they are, yea you will come back, and I will buy a better bike from them when my needs get to it. I had a tune up done on my Trek Emonda. They were upfront and honest with all the procedures and charges. The work was finished early and when i went to pick up the bike they had it ready to go. I asked them if they could replace both tires with a pair that i bought and they said yes. They changed them right then and there!!! The changing of the tires without an appointment or any notification is what will keep me coming back.

I’ve been wanting to buy a bike since Spring & it has been the hardest journey to do so. I initially ordered/paid for a bike from McGhee’s because they didn’t have any in stock & they told me that it would arrive in a month. I waited patiently & when the month passed by, I called to see the status of my order & was told that they didn’t even order my bike in the first place. I went to multiple bike shops after & was greeted with rude employees every single time. I thought that I would never be able to get a bike until my friend told me to go to Southwest Bikes. I was immediately greeted by Ted & walked out with a bike the same day. I can’t emphasize this enough, EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE THERE IS SO NICE. I have already been there multiple times to get accessories/get a repair on my boyfriend’s bike & it doesn’t fail that that they’re so nice/helpful every time. This is the best bike shop in Las Vegas, don’t waste your time by going anywhere else.

This is the shop I've been looking for since my LBS in Henderson mysteriously closed. I have stopped at some of the BIG name spots and smaller ones too but it has been a busy summer and there was no love. AT SOUTHWEST BIKES I was immediately welcomed despite bringing in an unusual design bike and problem. They (Pat, Monkey and one more) immediately understood the mechanical issues and were able to adjust it on the spot. I felt very welcomed by the crew and was advised of a few mech tips that would help with ride quality. I WILL travel across the valley to do business here. Very satisfied! ***** (5-star)

Rented a gravel bike from them in early March for a week. The bike was in great shape, equip with spare tire/CO2 cartridges, and the shop mechanics set it up with spd pedals as requested. The bike was perfect for a week of riding in Death Valley. After I returned home to the east coast, I realize that I left my Garmin cadence and speed sensors on the bike. Called them and offered to pay for shipping, they said that there would be no charge for the shipping. This shop provided a great bike and great service. I highly recommend them.

South West bike shop is outstanding. Thy are not just a bike shop . The owners have the up most integrity. There customer service between 1 =10 is 20. Thy spend time with your customers and the customers become their friends. The employees are great and their mechanics are outstanding. I have learned a lot about cycling and I'm past year-and-a-half from them. On Sunday mornings at 7:30 there's a group bike ride that leaves the bike shop great bunch of guys and girls I highly recommend Southwest bikes. My neighbor referred me to Southwest bikes. I had mountain bike tires and I needed tires for riding on the street/road and a tune up. I took my bike to the shop on a Friday and picked it up the next Friday. The bike looked like new. I also asked them to help adjust the seat and handle bars to the right height of my body and he did. I asked the associate if he could assist with putting my bike on the car bike rack because I had a sore back and could not lift. He did and I truly appreciated it. The workers were professional and social distancing and masks were worn by all.

Bought a hard to find men's bike on line because all bikes in stores and shops are gone. Brought pedal assist bike in to Southwest Bikes in a big box Picked it up all ready to go. So appreciate them. And they gave my womens bike a once over. Definitely recommend. They are busy, so be oatient. Worth the wait.

Bought a bike thru amazon, needed lots of adjustments, Pat Sablan from Southwest Bikes adjusted the brakes, the forks, made the wheels true, tighten the bolts where needed, and fill up the air in the tires while I waited. You would think that would be it of the low price for the adjustment, he also attached a bottle holder and bike lock holder I bought for no additional price. Pat and all the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, so impressed that I am writing this right after coming home from Southwest Bikes, Thanks again Pat

Top notch service. I broke a brake cable on my rolling handicapped walker, and went in to get a cable and some other miscellaneous parts to fix it, because they are the same a bike brake cables. The gent who helped me took a look, got the necessary stuff, and asked if I would like him to fix it for me. "Sure" said I, and in a few minutes I had a good brake again. Cost was more than reasonable in my estimation. The crew in the shop was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed a sincere interest in my circumstance. I am an old "used to be" rider, and while I watched and waited, we chatted a bit about bikes and how the sport is different from when I was involved in it; and enjoyable experience. They get a five star from me, and I will go back when I need something in their field of expertise.

I took my bike in to them on Tuesday and ask if they could check my tires? Garret helped me get the bike from the back of my SUV. My husband and I tried several times to put air into the tires and did not succeed. He said let us try! So after a while he came out and said it seem to be holding the air. But if the tires would leak then we might have to buy new tubes for the tires. The bike was dusty from being in my garage and he said let me wipe it off for you. He even lubed the chain! I was so surprised when I ask about the charge. I left a very happy mature lady and I will take our bikes there for any maintenance we need in the future. This bike store was like our neighbor hood one I grew up with. They were just there to do the best for you then. The customer service is the BEST!!

I use my bike to get to work. Two of my spokes broke on my back tire and it was rubbing against the brake. I only had two days off from work and the back log for repairs was almost a whole week! I explained my situation and my bike was ready the next day! The owner was extremely courteous and professional. This is my new stop for everything bike related.

2 yr resident of Las Vegas and this was the greatest customer service I have experienced. 1st time customer. Southwest Bikes ::: I was met at door by Dan, he unloaded the bike from rack on truck and asked me what I needed. Bike got 2 new tires and 2 new tubes. I was very impressed with the quality and condition of their road-bike fleet. I had a great time (okay, intense suffering, but it was worth it..) riding the Charleston Loop up Lee's Canyon way high into the mountains - the views were incredible and it was one of the most unique rides I've done. I will definitely be returning to Southwest Bikes when I next visit Las Vegas. And I hope to get out on one of their Salsa gravel rigs someday too - they have a great bikepacking selection!

The customer service at this bike shop is the best. I met the co-owner today and I let him know I was just looking. He let my 7 year old son try one of his bikes out in the parking lot and he was so helpful. My sons birthday is next month so I'm still debating on the bike he showed me because of the price. But I have checked Wal-mart and ToysRus and their bikes seem like junk compared to the one my son tried today. I might just fork over the money for a bike my son can have for life, instead of a cheap one that will fall apart in a year.

I was at Findlay Honda today to drop off my car, there were no available loner cars available. I figure I can walk down the street and get a Lyft after getting a burrito at Roberto’s. As I’m walking I see this nice little bike shop. I figure I’d walk in and check it out. An hour later, I’m riding home on the 2019 Scott Aspect 950 Size Medium in Black and Bronze with a big grin on my face for 9 miles all the way home. Though I’m heavily tattooed and don’t look like I ride bikes, you’re absolutely right! I don’t ride bikes, I’m more of a motorcycle guy. As of today, I ride bikes. I don’t think anyone considered I’d just come in and actually leave with a bike but I’m happy and feel good! This is a lifestyle choice and I’m glad I made it. Ted helped me and was very helpful. We have searched high and low for an XXS Scott, really didn’t matter a lot regarding the model. The only shop near us was in Austin and couldn’t really provide what we were looking for....a great price! We were visiting Las Vegas as we used to live there and wanted to say hi to the guys at the shop. In conversation, Rocky pointed out an XXS Scott Addict, price was awesome so after a night of talking it over we purchased it the next day with the help and guidance of Robert Thompson. Only problem was how would we get it back to Texas cheaply. They suggested Bike Flights. I went online and it was very easy and not to bad of price. Thanks to Gene and the gang, they boxed it up and it was on its way. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. My wife rode it this past weekend and was the best ride ever. Southwest Bikes is where you want to go for anything cycling related. The service is awesome, the staff are professional and friendly. They truly want to help people that come in to the store no matter what you need help with. If you have staff they will answer them and they will give you good recommendations based on what YOU want instead of trying to upsell you. They have done work on 5 bicycles for me and I've had a great experience everytime. That includes 3 mountainbikes a cyclocross bike and a road bike ranging from 1 to 19 years old and work from a basic tune up to wheel builds, drivetrain and suspension upgrades. All of their work is amazing and they get it done quickly. If you have questions about gear you will get great advice. Tell them about what you want to do or issues you are having and they will make great suggestions on technique or gear that can fix your problem. If you are new to riding they will help you learn how to do that too. This place is the Holy Grail of Las Vegas Cycling. Rented some snowshoes here and found the process questionable. I went to the store in person and was told that I had to fill out all the information for the rental online. Basically, I had to stand in the store filling out all the information -address, name, credit card, etc on my tiny phone screen on a not incredibly user friendly website even though I was physically standing in the store. After filling out everything online they printed out paper forms which had to be signed. Not everyone in this world has a smart phone, if you are going to force people to fill out everything online do what rock climbing gyms do for instance and provide tablets for people to use.

I walked into SW Bikes a week ago, total noob, after purchasing (and immediately busting tire on) a crappy Walmart Huffy bike. The salesguy was super nice, didn't make fun of me for being completely green and obviously out of my element. He put me on a Bianchi Torino... it was immediate love. The price was out of my range, so he put me on a similar model at a lesser price, the Bianchi Cortina. Still out of my price range, but I couldn't believe the difference riding a light, well-made road bike compared to a bulky, too-small Huffy. I'm a 5'11 woman, so the Lady-Bikes at Wally were way too small for me. I needed a commuter bike to get me from home to work (3 miles one way) on a daily basis and get me back in fighting shape. I returned to the shop a few days later to rent a road bike for my birthday and take the Cortina on a spin around the lot. Still in love. I lingered near her when I came back the next afternoon to return the crotch-abusing road bike I'd borrowed. This evening I went back, cash in hand, and purchased my very first "real bike". I am SO excited. I road it home from the shop, complete with a blinky light and water bottle thing, which the guys threw in for me. I may be a noob, but this is the most fun I've had exercising. I can't WAIT to get up early and ride my bike to work. I recommend this bike shop 100%, they couldn't have been more up front and honest about the kind of bike I need and never once tried to upsell me or pressure me into buying.

Lockdown got me back on a tired but faithful 26"Kona FS MTB from years past. Flats, garage kept and overall neglect for years. Asked for gold tuneup ($200) because I just wanted it trouble free to get back in the saddle. Dropped it off amid the quarantine and it was ready to go 24 hrs later. Mechanic brought the bike out talked about what he did and only charged me $110ish because he said my bike didn't need that much work. Basic tune up, a cable or two, brake bleed, and new tubes (I know go tubeless). Gotta love that. Bike rode like new again and I saved a little coin. I used to do all my own work and really felt like I needed a pro to give it a once over to get me back to green light status. Feeling better about my mechanic skills now but if I ever need repairs again that I can't handle, I'll be back at Southwest Bikes. Thanks guys.
