Recently, I rented an #RTCBikeShare bicycle and toured Downtown Las Vegas. The BCycle App made the renting and riding experience so easy! I purchased a day pass for $5. The pass gave me unlimited 30-minute rides for 24 hours. I had to dock the bike every 30 minutes according to the system rules. The app made it very easy to find the other bike share stations. If you do not dock the bike within the 30 minutes then a charge of $4 is added. I did decide to ride the bike without docking for a couple of hours and it came out to eight bucks per hour. Even at that price, I consider it a really good deal! Downtown Las Vegas has truly grown with so many new restaurants, bars and super cool murals that make for great photo ops! I love riding bike share systems whenever I travel to other cities and I'm really happy that Downtown Las Vegas offers such a fun and affordable way to get around downtown.

Rented 2 bikes for a few hours. Good time - especially the Ebike - pretty peppy. We used them to scout the area outside of Fremont street and the bikes worked great.
We did have problems with the card scanner - had to scan multiple times, but finally worked.
Someone mentioned the 26 charge. We were told this would be refunded - haven't checked if it was or not.
Hint - make sure you don't leave your phone on the bike phone holder. I did and got all the way back to the room before I remembered. Fortunately it was still there!

It sure would've been nice to know that the 30-day pass is ONLY access to renting the bike. You still get charged for "unlocking" the bike each time you take a bike out. You get charged a fee for your first 30 minutes, and then you get charged every 30-intervals thereafter. Kind of SNEAKY!

The bikes are nice and it's very easy and affordable to rent them. Best way to get around the parts of Las Vegas that has stations. However, there need to be stations in a more widespread area for it to be truly useful.

it really doesn't say how much itll charge you beyond the $5 of a 24hour pass, after the first 30 min it starts charging you more. for 2 hours I was charged $26. just a heads up

Absolutely love it and I hope to see more of the bikes and bike racks for more of the downtown Las Vegas area.
