Reviews of Bike Blast Las Vegas

Bike Blast made my stay in Vegas a worthwhile one. Very easy booking, contact and clear directions for pickup. Everything organized smoothly and as described on their website. Bike was in good condition and I was provided with clear directions for my trip at Red Rock Canyon. Definitely worth trying should you be in Vegas!

Have used Bike Blast twice now on my semi annual Vegas poker trips and also to see the Nashville Predators defeat the Golden Knights. Have taken the self guided Red Rock and River Mountain rides. Both are solid rides, but personally enjoyed the River Mountain loop tremendously. Matt has been great taxi/tech both times.

Great way to go for a ride while in Las Vegas. They will pick you up at your hotel, provide a bike, and bring you to the type of trails or road riding you like.

Bike Blast was a blast and really helped me explore new areas which I never would have known before. I did three days of ‘semi guided’ tours where Matt picked me up at the hotel and provided expert guidance and information, along with great bikes (road 1 day, mountain 2 days ) and all the essentials (helmets, tire repair kits, water , snacks , etc). Day 1 I did road riding at Red Rock National park, day 2 mountain biking in Red Rock canyons, and day 3 rail trail to/from Hoover dam and surrounding area. I highly recommend all three , and hoping your experience is as epic as mine. See photos.

Rented a road for two days, the bike was great and the service and delivery was also smooth. I will give 4 stars due to some lacking communication, as I emailed them three times over a few days, as I had a question about the rental. They never got back to me, so I was a little on the unknowing side, which was a little confusion. Apart from that, overall happy experience.

Signed up for a MTB tour of the Cottonwood trail system out by Red Rocks. Everything went as smoothly and pleasant as you could want. Rafael (sp) picked me up at my hotel where I joined a few other guests and we were off to the trail head. Rafael did a great job of providing the bikes, gear, water and snacks. He was a great guide for three hours taking me in and around the valley trails. Had a blast and would totally recommend riding with Rafael again!

I just rented a bike; did not go on one of the guided tours. Their prices were basically equal with the local shops (one was about $10 cheaper) but the bike delivery meant more time to ride and was just so easy.
The "next day" rental means they drop if off late the day before your rental date (mine arrived at 4) and was due back by 5 p.m. the next day. This was not really explained on the website, but they followed up with a call to explain. It allowed me to do a dawn patrol ride (more details below).
My 105-equipped BMC Gran Fondo was in perfect order and they provided a flat pack with CO2 cartridges (most folks just give you a pump), water bottle, lights and helmet. The helmet was a little uncomfortable and basic but I guess that beats bringing your own on the plane.
Now, when they set a drop off/pickup time, they expect you to be there waiting. I thought they'd send a text or call and so the driver was a little miffed that he had to call. My fault of course, but just know that they're very punctual and expect you to be ready and WAITING.
NOTE: if you're in the area, the Red Rock Canyon ride is glorious (and low-traffic) at sunrise. I was expecting more of a climb but I guess I've done too much Colorado riding. Anyway, the pink light on the rocks and formations was magnificent and the tarmac is just butter smooth. It's also a one-way drive so you can fly around curves without worrying about oncoming traffic. There's an overlook park near the entrance and a couple places to park along the road which would, presumably, allow you to enter for the $5 bike rate instead of the $15 car rate. Not knowing better, I paid the $15 and parked there by the fee station. Learn from my mistake!
Overall, I'll work with them again when I'm back in Vegas and would recommend them.

My wife and I came to Vegas for our anniversary but still wanted the chance to ride. We found Bike Blast and were happy with their reviews and gave them a shot. Rob took us out and I think it's the best money we have spent in Vegas so far. The bikes were perfect for the riding conditions. He was an awesome guide and new how to push us. We also got some sweet nicknames out of the ride. Thank you Rob and Bike Blast for the great hospitality.

What a great way to see a bit more than just the strip when visiting Vegas. I've used Bike Blast twice now - once riding solo on the River Mountain Loop and this time riding with my husband in the Valley of Fire. Both times have had exceptional service with pick up from our hotel, drive to the drop off point, set up of bikes (which are great quality road BMCs), nutrition and water and pick up and drop off at the end. Couldn't ask for better service and can't wait for my next trip to explore more! We proudly wear our Bike Blast jerseys around our home town of Brisbane, Australia and recommend them to all our friends travelling to Vegas.
Chris Williams
Rob was awesome. Great time out riding. Convenient as you don’t need anything. They pick you up and take you back. Plenty of water and snacks. Bikes in great shape. Highly recommend to get away from the strip and do something fun for a few hours
Ted Daniel
My wife and I did Red Rock, 3 hour ride. Our guide Jeff was awesome. I am a more advanced rider but he was able to balance both our levels with trails that we all enjoyed. The bikes were very good, full suspension and he was very knowledgeable in the sport. The packs which had bars and water were great. The scenery was incredible. Pickup was on time and we got a full ride's worth. According to my fitbit I burned 1600 calories.
Next time I'm in Vegas this is a no brainer. Can't wait to come back.
Tina Givens
Bike Blast was the highlight of my Vegas trip. My guide Manny was so warm and friendly. I was picked up from my hotel and brought out to beautiful Red Rock Canyon for an amazing ride. If I'd had more time I could have ridden all day out there. Beautiful scenery. Next time I'm in Vegas I will skip the Strip and spend my days on a bike from Bike Blast. Wonderful experience that I highly recommend!
Matthew Pavlinich
Bike Blast had the bike at the hotel for my arrival and picked up at my convenience the next day after my ride. I did a solo, unguided tour and was very happy with their service and products. It's a great way to see Las Vegas and explore the area. Highly recommend!
Purchased t-shirt quality was better than I expected.
Bernd Marquardt
My top recommendation if you want to escape Vegas for a moment and Do some biking. I did the Red Rock Canyon and the Valley of Fire with them. You get picked up at your hotel and drive to the destination of your ride. Once there, you get your bike, water, snacks, a map and recommendations. The ride itself is for about 3 hours. The guides are knowledgeable and very nice and I always met very interesting and nice people on the rides. If I go back to Vegas I will ride with Bikeblast again.
Eric Ross
Great Service. Great Bike. Awesome Experience. Pick me up promptly at the hotel and even waited an extra 15 minutes at the end to bring me back. As we drove to location they gave me some tips and history on the Red Rock Canyon. On top of that they gave me a free energy powder to put in my water. Thanks Bike Blast.

Pros: Hotel pick up and drop off was easy. It was a fun Vegas adventure away from the strip, but not too far.
Cons: We completed waiver and financial agreements online, but were required to do that again on paper...not sure why.
Our driver for the semi-guided tour seemed to not be enjoying his day. He got us from point a to b, but wasn't friendly or personable and at times seemed annoyed by our group, but we all have bad days, so maybe it was his.
In our group of 9, two people requested carbon bike upgrades, but didn't receive them.
One person in our group purchased a t-shirt, but didn't receive it (and forgot to mention it upon completion of the excursion).
One bike (of 9) had brakes that were not working properly.
Overall, we had fun and made memories, but based on the other reviews I read, I expected more. Not sure it's worth the price.

My wife and I were visiting Vegas with work friends. We're more of the ecotourism types and were so glad to have found Bike Blast as an option. We were able to secure a Saturday morning tour with ease for a 3.5 hour tour.
Rafael (Rafa), our guide, was on time and pleasant. He was very attentive to the pace we wanted to go at, took a ton of pictures, shared stories, and cracked lots of jokes; super cool guy to ride with. At one point, my wife who likes to take picture on random large rocks, was escorted by Rafa to the top of a hill so she could get her pic. All the while Rafa was right behind her ensuring her safety and on the way down he was guiding her through the safe path. Whatever he's getting paid, they should double it.
The quality of the bikes was terrific and the quality of the guide even better. We'll be sure to do this again next time we're in Vegas.

Bike Blast was wonderful. I arrived in Las Vegas and I wanted to enjoy a one-day bike ride. The options I found with my internet search were overwhelming, and Bike Blast proved to be the Best! The bike itself, the location, the level of support, and the guidance were all perfect! I would recommend Bike Blast to anyone who is from out of town and looking for a nice cycling experience in the Las Vegas area!

The lower cost of the bike hire reflects the quality of the bikes. I tried to hire a Focus Sam C, but given none were available, I settled for a Focus Jam (alloy). This was my mistake, I didn't do enough background checking on this bike. It wasn't anywhere near the spec of bike that I was looking for to support my style of riding.
The bike arrived with a very well worn back tire, which BB offered to fix the next day. I signed up for a 3 day hire, and asked for a refund after day 1, which they didn't agree to. I returned the bike after day 2 and went to McGhies in Blue Diamond to get a higher grade bike for my third day of riding.
If the bike was in better condition, I'd have given Bike Blast 4 stars. If they'd agreed to refund me at least 1 of my 3 days hire, I'd have given them 5 stars.
Their bikes are fine for Blue and Green trails, but didn't give me the confidence I needed to take on anything more aggressive.

I was in Las Vegas for CES and needed some time out of the madness and so booked a bike tour with Bike Blast. I originally ordered a full guided ride, but bein gthe only one, they switched me to a semi-guided ride (in essence I got driven to and from the Red Rock Canyon and told where I should ride) which turned out to be perfect because you cannot get lost on the Red Rock road. In return, they upgraded my bike to a carbon framed model.
Everything worked as smoothly as I could have hoped. I was picked up from the Wynn Tour Bus area, taken to Red Rock (took about 30 minutes) briefed and got setup and was then left for 3 hours (as agreed) to do my ride.
I was then met promptly and returned to the Wynn in time to get changed and go and get my flight.
Very straight forward operation with a decent bike that was setup well and operated faultlessly, that gave me somelovely memories that were the highlight of my week. Would highly recommend Bike Blast.

I traveled to Vegas for fun with a couple friends to check out the city and attractions, but I also love to explore the surrounding nature of the cities that I visit. Bike Blast had me covered because we took tours of Red Rocks Canyon, the Valley of Fire, and Mt. Charleston on road bikes. That's plenty to see for a single trip but they also offered tours of Hoover Dam, The Strip, and Sloan Canyon on mountain bikes that we couldn't pass up. We got to see everything that we had on our list via bicycle (and a few places we didn't originally plan), which was such a nice way to see more than we could have if we were just walking/hiking. The surrounding scenery that sometimes gets overshadowed by the The Strip and nightlife in Vegas is worth checking out and Bike Blast makes it a pleasure.
They transported us to and from the Hard Rock hotel and had our bikes ready to go, with only a few minor adjustments needed to make them ride well for our needs. It couldn't have been easier.
The tour guides know their stuff about the history of the tours and they also have great recommendations for the nightlife that kept us entertained.
If I had to recommend one ride while you're in town it would be the Valley of Fire. The scenery is breathtaking.

I had booked a guided road tour, which had to be cancelled due to low registration (I was the only one that day), but Bike Blast switched me to the guided MTB tour instead. In my case, this was a minor issue, as I enjoy both road and MTB, and would have done both had there been time.
Geoff, our guide for the MTB tour, arrived on time at my hotel, and texted me promptly to confirm he was at the pickup location. He had preselected a general area for us to ride, but checked with us re: our ability levels and route preferences before choosing the specific trails.
All of the gear was as advertised - bikes were solid full suspension trail bikes that were suited to the terrain, and we were offered bottles and/or hydration packs, with or without an electrolyte mix. Geoff also had granola bars and nuts for the ride, and carried extras for us for a mid-ride fuel stop. There was plenty of extra water for post-ride hydration as well. He even packed extra layers that we could use if required, as the mornings had been almost frosty - not expected in Vegas!
Geoff did a great job leading us through unfamiliar trails - he called out specific obstacles or technical sections, as we were intermediate riders. The route offered a great mix of fast and flowy through the Yuccas and Joshua trees, as well as some climbs and descents of the hills in the area.
The bikes were well-maintained - I had a minor sag in my dropper post over the duration of the ride, but it returned to the top position easily. Brakes and shifting were smooth and solid.
I would definitely book through Bike Blast again - great day all around!

I had an opportunity to go on 2 Semi Guided Tours with the Bike Bast gang! I am a bit pickey about things so was not sure how this would go but figured to give it a shot. My first day was at Red Rock Canyon in the afternoon! Man it was hot but a great ride! Would have been much better in the morning but it was the best we could fit in! The Next day we did the Mountain Loop and that was awesome! Being a guy from Chicago I don't have the elevation gain you can do here so it was truly memorable! The guys were super nice and cared about your needs and experience! I would recomend them and next time I am in Vegas I will use there service again!!
Great Job Guys!!!

I had to cancel in 2017 and had they allowed me to have a credit for a ride which I used March 18th. There were only 3 of us including our guide (who I forgot his name). Great ride and really nice guide. I was the "slow one" as I'm not in shape but he was very accommodating and also helped another fellow rider (not in our group) who had a busted chain on the trail. If I was in that situation I would have certainly appreciated what was done rather than walking back a long distance. Bike was pretty much brand new and again had a great time.
Brian Gartside
Outstanding service. Rented a road bike (BMC gran fondo) They dropped off at the hotel and picked up right on time for both. I rode to Red Rock Canyon which was spectacular. They gave me great advice on the route (Take Sahara out of town due to bike lanes) Pricing is also reasonable. Definitely will use again when in Vegas
Bryan Miller
My ride experience was great! Dameon picked me up at the motel right on time. He and I rode at my pace which was great. We saw wild horses on the ride at Red Rock Canyon. It was a beautiful area different than anything I'd ever experienced. My bike was really good also. I would highly recommend! Great time!

My mountain biking group decided to go to Zion through Las Vegas this year. This was an opportunity for me to do a road ride out of Vegas. I rented a bike from Bike Blast. They showed up at my hotel on time. I had two alternative routes. The driver/delivery person from Bike Blast helped me choose and got me started in the right direction. I had a great ride out and on Scenic Drive at Red Rock, and a great day.
Davide Volpi
Great service and good quality bikes at reasonable prices. Got my bike delivered at the hotel and was assisted in making sure that the pedals match my cleats and with saddle heights etc. To my surprise, the bike came with two water bottles, so that was very handy. At drop off, I just needed to leave the bike to the bell desk and everything was taken care of. Highly recommended.

I needed to keep training during a conference in Las Vegas so I rented a bike for 4 days from Bike Blast. The bike was delivered and picked up from the hotel very conveniently at no extra charge. Great BMC GF02 road bike, slightly on the heavier side but I was cheap and didn't spring for the upgrade :-)
I managed to forget my own pedals attached to the bike when I returned it and realized this only an hour before having to leave for the airport. Still they managed to get the pedals to me before leaving.
Only complaint that I have was the reflectors in the wheels which made the bike wobble/jumpy when descending at speed, but I could have removed them myself had it been a real problem.
Really great service, thank you guys for making my legs "not shut up" during my stay in Vegas.
Kirstin Johnson
We had a great ride with Bike Blast. Their bikes are in great shape, they were very prepared with snacks and water. It was nice to be able to enjoy mountain biking without having to bring all our own gear. We would definitely do this again.

An amazing experience! My guide Adam picked me up right on time from my hotel. After a quick discussion about what type of off-road ride I was looking for, Adam drove me out to a great trail that was well-matched to my skill and fitness level. It was challenging and exciting. The scenery was breathtaking. I learned some new skills, especially how to approach technical sections and he was great about warning me if there was trouble ahead. This guide knew the trail backward and forward. I was never worried about getting lost which I now know could be fairly easy to do in the desert hills around Vegas. The BMC 29'er was easy to adapt to, well-balanced and predictable. I ride a Santa Cruz Bantam at home and felt totally comfortable. All-in-all, it was totally worth the expense to have someone take care of all the details so that I could enjoy a great ride in a short time window. I will never forget my Vegas mountain bike ride. Cheers Bike Blast!
Mark Ross
Equipment was great, trails were amazing and Geoff did a perfect balancing act of length of time on the bike and level of challenge. Got to use a dropper post for the first time ... very nice.
Geoff was also great at coaching me through some of the technical challenges on the trails.
Add in some desert hares, flowering cacti, mountains and a perfect blue sky it simply couldn’t have been a better experience.
Thomas Hayden
Took an unguided tour at Bootleg Canyon. Went off by myself (not smart) and got in trouble on backside of mountain after I got too far without enough water. No other riders on trail that day I collapsed due to dehydration and heat. Dizzy and with spotty cell service, help was far away as I contacted 911 and they were too confounded as to where I was (no definable address except GPS) and who had jurisdiction to help. But Matt at Bike Blast rallied his troops(Matt, Jeff + 1 other heroic rider) as I holed up by a small rock outcropping. It took Matt over two hours to get to me but without all of them I would still be there as a monument to foolish preparation. Word to the wise in Nevada. I initially rode 2 1/2 hours using up a full water complement but collapsed trying to make it back around mountain after water ran out. By the time I was rescued, I drank TEN water bottles worth(over a gallon) of water to rehydrate. I mountain bike 40miles/week back in Florida. The desert is no joke. Thanks big time to Bike Blast!!
Rob Humphreys
It was great in theory, and our guide Manny was excellent, but the bikes were in bad shape. All 3 of us, guide included, were supposed to have tubeless set up, but they had put tubes in the tires from a prior trip and didn't convert them back to tubeless. The terrain is very rocky, so tubeless is necessary. We each had a flat tire at some point in the ride, and so we used all 3 spare tubes. We then had to head back to the van earlier than expected because we didn't want to get stranded. I realize flats happen, but it seemed like the company was a bit lazy by not bringing the MTBs back to tubeless before our trip. Beautiful area with knowledgeable guide and very good logistics .

Not only was this some of the best riding I've ever done, but I would never ever ever had known where to go or how to get there without these guys! Not only do they bring the local knowledge of the rides, they totally set you up with the best gear. I brought shoes, pedals and a helmet, that's it! They took care of all the rest - a sweet bike with Di2 shifters - picked us up right at the hotel.
I'm not a big Vegas guy, but I would come back just for the riding. And I would definitely call these guys up again.
Just remember to drink a lot. Oh and bring a camera - amazing landscape!

This is an energetic group of people renting reliable bikes.
I was a cyclist who had only one full day in Las Vegas. Therefore, I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to find a rental place, rent a bike, take a long ride, and then return the bike.
Bike Blast made it happen! They delivered right to my hotel a high-quality road bike, with a little toolkit and 2 water bottles on board. That was great, because that saved me from having to literally run over to the gas station to buy my own water bottles. I had such a blast on that thing, that I rode to Hoover Dam and back in late July. I almost didn't want to give the bike back, haha. After my ride, Bike Blast picked up the bike at my hotel.
In all my phone and in-person conversations with staff members, I could sense that they really know their business and they're enthused about what they do. I'd rent from them again.
Andrew Hyde
This was a great experience! I chose the mountain bike semi-guided tour, and rode at Cottonwood Valley. The bike was very nice and just right for the trails. The guide was helpful in setting up the bike and explaining the trails. Would definitely go back!
4XTRAIL
Had a great experience renting a BMC mountain bike from these guys earlier this week. Hotel delivery and pickup included made it very convenient. Raphael took his time to explain the bike and even pre-filled my water bottle. The BMC bike was the nicest I've ridden. Highly recommended!
Bob Duncan
A phenomenal way to get away and see some amazing places! The guided tour is well worth all the knowledge you will get dropped on you, plus they are super guys to ride with. Definitely ranks up at the top of places I've been fortunate enough to ride. The bikes were also a pleasure. BMC really did some good things with them.
Tom Krupsky
These guys are great! Timely delivered a well tuned, well equipped ride at a reasonable price. My sunrise 5 hour ride through Redrock Canyon was the highlight of my Vegas vacation. Well done!
Steve Coe
Great service and excellent equipment. My colleague and I rented road bikes for Red Rock loop, ending up at Blue Diamond for pickup back to Vegas. Met many interesting characters at trailheads along way and in BD. Did not spot any wild burros, unfortunately, but they're definitely out there!
Eric Wimmer
Great experience! Excellent service, fantastic and well cared for equipment. Two great days of cycling while in Vegas! Very friendly staff that worked hard to accommodate everything we needed for a great ride! Will use again next time I’m in town!
Owen Valentine
5 stars. We ran into an unexpected hiccup with a bike at the trailhead and bike blast was able to get me on a new bike asap, it delayed the start of my ride but they did everything they could to make it a great experience
Sam Bowers
Pickup on time , good equipment , great guide . I would use them again.
Greg Rauch
Great service! Great bikes and gear! Matt was super helpful and provided wonderful support for my day rental experience. If you are visiting from out of town and want a cycling experience par excellence with rental gear, this is the place to go!
Nick Konwerski
Very impressed with this service. Bike Blast went above and beyond to make sure my ride was great. The prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely be a repeat customer!! Thanks Bike Blast!
Scott Freeman
Great ride to Red Rock Canyon. Bike Blast folks were very courteous and professional. Highly recommended. Thanks guys.
Adam H (Adamage)
I just did a Next day rental. No tour. Just a self ride. Quality mountain bike and timely drop off and delivery. Will definitely rent again.
Alexandra Czuckowitz
Perfect after a long conference in Vegas. First time mountain biking and Manny adjusted nicely to my level and cheered me up. Will book again 2018!
Luke Bergey
Excellent bike rental! Awesome fast reliable delivery service! Just as promised! Met me as I was riding back to my hotel to pick up the bike. Amazing service! A+++
Cas Jager
Great service, great value for money and tours are really nice. I would recommend every biker visiting Las Vegas do do at least a tour.
Craig Elwell
Superb service. Dropped off and picked up exactly as promised. Decent bike, everything you need to go explore. Even gave me a map.
Joe Fuller
Rates and bike were ok. Service seemed like they would rather not have to deal w customers. Unnecessarily complex rental agreement. Next time, I’ll try someone else.
Joel Wing
Great BMC road bike. The guys were very accommodating with delivery and pickup from the hotel. Good prices too!
Chen Landau

(Translation) Even though I am a Japanese person who does not understand the language, I was treated very kindly. Also, the BMC Granfondo GF 02 I rented was a great experience with good specs. I went around the Red Canyon, a natural park near Vegas, but it was unusually stormy weather, so I hope it will be fine next time.
