Store is off Austin street, has a fancy store fascia, but can only be accessed by appointment. Me and my son of 4 year old were denied entry. Both my son and I were dissapointed, we just wanted to look at some bikes. We both had masks and there was hardly anyone in the store. What's the point of having a bike store which one can't visit? What's the harm in looking around for 5 mins? Why can't an on-spot appointment be possible when traffic is low with an hour to spare? I am baffled!

Service staff was friendly, helpful and understood what I needed done to my son's bike. Sales staff was also friendly and helpful in looking up and searching the bike I was interested in. It was good to learn that this time around, ordering from Trek was not going to take 3-5 months like in the past. According to the sales staff, my order would be in the store within 3-5 days (excluding memorial day holiday). It would be nice if Trek would carry some other decent quality products beside Bontrager (for regular folks who are not into bike racing etc.). Overall, I highly recommend Trek Forest Hills to anyone looking to buy new bikes, or maintain any bike brand they already have. It would also be nice if Trek had some promotions. Sadly, with my purchase and bike servicing business, I got no freebies or gift. Even car manufacturers will throw in a gift here and there. Something for Trek to improve on.

It was my first time visiting this location but I recently moved and this is now the closest to my place. I had an issue with my gears slipping and I took my bike to the shop. They practiced solid Covid requirements and that made me feel safe. James took my bike in and examined it. He determined I needed a part replacement. Fortunately it was in stock and he quickly replaced it and get me back on the road.

When I wanted to buy a bike it was great to pick out the model online and find out what stores had the bike! This prevented me from wasting a lot of time going to a store not knowing whether or not I could actually purchase a bike. The service I received from Gabriella Sanchez was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the bikes and accessories. The accessories that purchased were installed immediately and we're done with care.The second most important thing is that all the accessories I needed were at the store. I did not have to order anything online or go to another place to pick them up.The two bike technicians, one of them being Josh, very nice and helpful and caring!To summarize this experience was amazing because,Quick ability to track down a product that I wanted to purchase, availability of all the accessories in one location, and amazing customer service both at the sales level and at the repair level!

I had order My equipment to go bike riding early Monday morning, but I order my equipment late Saturday and they were close on Sunday July 4 due to the holiday so I was no able to pick up the equipment on Sunday July 4. First time I encounter with what Excellent customer service is. They went out of their way just to deliver My equipment to my house on July 4 so that I wouldn’t miss My bike ride on Monday. So these guys are AMAZING! I came in and got 2 new tires today. Great price and the service desk was really helpful. Like they took care of all of it while I waited and gave me some tips on avoiding flats and inflating tires. They have a pretty good selection of accessories you may need. If I ever make the leap to an eBike, I will absolutely buy it here. I don't love the other bike shop in the neighborhood so I was glad my friend reminded me this place opened. Great addition to the neighborhood. I highly recommend it and I will absolutely be back!!!

James Atienca is outstanding. He remembered me from a visit 8 months ago, honored a small pricing discrepancy (tag vs. computer update), and the store is immaculate. Last summer, he made sure my computer was working properly- by replacing it even though I had bought it elsewhere (still in warranty, though). He takes responsibility and makes things right for the customer. Jennifer is an excellent saleswoman and took the time to ensure my son was properly fitted and happy with his new bike. She showed him several versions and colors and listened to a 10 year old like he was the only person in the world.

I had my bike serviced here. custom wheel build and they guaranteed me a 24-48 hours finish on the wheel build. My bike is not even trek but they took care of it. Bike came out flawless. Will come back here again to get a roadbike. People here are really accommodating, i love the customer service here. Hopefully after this pandemic they will have more parts and items in stock.

This place is amazing! My friend and I bought a bike here the other week (Dual Sport 4 & FX 6) and they were super friendly/knowledgeable. Came here yesterday to drop my Bike off for a tune up. Store is clean and has a great aesthetic. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Picked up my bike today and rode home. Bike felt like new and shifts like butter. I usually go to a bike shop in Mineola where there is a bike club with techs that deal with higher end road bikes. So glad Queens finally has a high end bike store I can reliably go to.

I had a flat tire that I needed repaired. When I went to the shop, they had me wait outside for social distancing inside the store. The wait was about a few minutes and I had an immediate team member inside come and speak with me. He assessed the bike and was confident in repairing the flat in 20 minutes. I would highly recommend stopping by this shop if you need any tune ups, flat tires, or use of the service shop. Just be sure you are respectful and wear a facemask during your visit.

Update: I received a call from the manger and had a nice conversation in attempt to rectify the situation. Ultimately my buying experience here did not work out, hopefully it does for you. I've been looking to upgrade my road bike for the past couple of weeks and Trek happens to be one of the manufactures that I was interested in. I did my research online and found the exact model and trim that I wanted. I called Trek Forest Hills on a Friday afternoon and specified exactly which year/model/trim/size that I was interested in and wanted to schedule a test ride. The sales rep tells me to come in given that they have it in-stock and it is available for a test ride. I took off work early to visit their showroom and when I get there, the previous generation is rolled out for me… I have basically the same conversation with the sales rep and explained how I wanted to test ride the current generation as it is completely remodeled. The rep goes to the back and confirms that the bike is actually not built and it would be ready earliest by Sunday. At this point I just figured it was a misunderstanding and I told them I will call to confirm that the bike will be ready before i come in again sometime during the week. On Monday morning I call to confirm that the bike is built and ready for a test ride which the rep said it was. I arrive 30 minutes after the phone call and the same bike they wanted me to test-ride on Friday is rolled out.. now I'm having the same conversation 4 times (twice over the phone and twice in person) and went there two times for nothing. This whole ordeal was a HUGE waste of time. Although the reps that i dealt with were apologetic and I felt that they were genuinely mistakes, something like this should not have happen let alone once but twice is unacceptable and extremely frustrating.

10 stars (out of a possible 5). The service and support at this Trek are superb. This review is about the outstanding walk in service I received 2/20/2023. Walk in with broken spike and was fixed up within minutes. Also deserve a nod about the original sale (first month of lock down 2020) I was able to work with an exceptional sales rep and pick out the bike and options I wanted over the phone. Very patient and discussed the options. Didn’t miss a beat. Had bike delivered and built to my spec at store. Allowed contact free pick up before the vaccine was even available. We all know trek is a great bike company. It’s also nice to know they hire and take care and retain such talented staff. Well done Team Trek!
