Awesome local bike shop in the heart of NOLA. Walking distance from the French Quarter. Great rental experience. Will definitely go back when we visit again.

I'm not incredibly bike savvy, having only moderate knowledge of parts and maintenance. Had a break on my bike that I thought meant major repairs but they fixed me up for under 10 bucks. So it's very honest of them to help me out with my problem when they could likely have sold me on something far more expensive.
My ugly abomination of a bike is at least rideable once more!

Had a great experience with the staff here. Came in not so sure about what I needed and felt confident and more educated when I left. Very knowledgeable and patient staff. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike. They have pups too!

I'm usually not one to write reviews, however, this honest business has certainly earned it. In my week in the French Quarter, my partner and I were able to easily see in half a day what we could see in nearly 2 days of simply walking around from where we stayed. The bike rentals were totally worth it. The bikes were quality with more than reasonable rates compared to other substitutes in the area. When returning the bikes, I left accidentally left something of considerable value and received a call about an hour later from the shop owner. This man runs an honest business with a quality service. 10/10

The two men working in the shop were very friendly and very helpful. I purchased some Schwalbe Marathon E Plus tires 700cx47mm (which I love) and they very quickly stopped what they were working on to fit these tires for me.

Beware. I very seldom post reviews such as this but my experience today was so unusual, and so plainly abusive of visitors, that I feel I need to share this story. My wife and I have visited New Orleans many times, and we have rented bikes here before. Today we rented 2 bikes. We rode to Tulane campus along Magazine and St. Charles. At some point on the way I sensed my front tire was flat. I stopped to refill twice but it kept leaking. I called the shop. No, we are only two here and cannot help, he said. Maybe your wife can ride back and get another inner tube, he suggested. I said that was rather an illusory solution as we were at Riverbend, about 6 miles away. He said “illusory”? “Are we talking Borges?” Yes. Snarky, just like it sounds. I said I would find a repair shop and asked if he would deduct the cost from the rental. No, you are the rider and this is your responsibility he responded. He implied this was my fault for not evading whatever caused the flat. If you have ever ridden a bicycle on the streets of New Orleans you will realize how silly it is to blame the rider for road hazards. I thought that a professional and empathetic response would have been to acknowledge the inconvenience and extend the courtesy of a rental adjustment. But no. After a token concession following my return I thought it would be fairer to just have my equipment upgrade removed and returned. So, we both lost. I paid $19 for a new tube and the full day rental rate. The owner still had to repair the flat. The only person who felt good after this was the stranger on a mountain bike to whom I gifted a brand new inner tube. Oh well. It could have been handled so much better by all involved. Just don’t expect much here. You can likely find a more supportive and helpful staff elsewhere.

I rented a road bike from these guys in February 2019. It was a steel Jamis Quest...a brand I'd never heard of in my life and, frankly, reminded me of my Schwinn when I was in high school. That said, if you have never ridden the streets of New Orleans you'll need to know a steel bike is what you'd like. The roads are an adventure!
Anyway, the bike worked great for a one day, 50 mile ride. The guys in the shop love bicycling, though I can see why there are some reviews not so positive. I suspect they have a hard time with some of the tourists. Nevertheless, I found them knowledgeable, fun and more than competent.
NOTE: I brought my own lights, garmin, pedals, shoes and helmet.

Super cool bike shop on Frenchman. We bought two bikes from there a couple of years ago and love them. We have purchased several accessories and are always happy with the product and service. Recently I brought my bike in for a couple of wear a tear issues. They gave it a tune up on warranty. So cool, I bought an awesome bike rack that was expertly and timely installed. I love this place. They also have bikes for rent and a really cool shop dog!

New brakes, lubed chain and gears, straightened rear rim, very fair price and finished work sooner than expected. Awesome.

During this pandemic, my boyfriend and I had visited several bike shops in the area and this was the only one that had a good amount of stock and were the only ones that treated us with respect. The others were rude and tried rushing us out the door. We found a great deal and definitely returning for all of our bicycle needs.
