I recently brought my fatbike in for a tune up and cleaning; I had been having issues with shifting for a while that were plaguing my Riding. Shortly before this visit, I also stopped by hoping to check out some pogies. During the initial visit, the staff member working near the front was very helpful and brought me to the pogie selection, and provided helpful insight citing personal experience. With his help, I found the best option and am very pleased with my purchase. I mentioned the need for a tune up, and he encouraged me to bring my bike in. Days later when I finally brought my bike in, a different staff member inspected it immediately and Listened well to my concerns. Within 5 mins, he determined my cassette and chain were worn out, as well as a shift cable that was overly stiff. He provided a quote and timeframe for repairs, while also pricing out the most cost effective way to write up the work order. To my surprise, the repairs were completed 2-3 days ahead of schedule and $30-$40 cheaper than anticipated. In addition, I had a rear pannier rack previously installed to my bike. The mechanic found an alternative way to mount the rack that made it more rigid / secure, and corrected this at no additional charge! Needless to say, i’m super stoked with the service! Thanks to the team at Freewheel Bloomington! This is the best my bike has looked or felt since I’ve owned it

I was so impressed with Tim’s efforts to work with me to find the perfect bike. He listened to my concerns about the first bike I tried and sought out a different one that would suit me without me even asking him to do so. Everyone at the store was so friendly and helpful. I knew I’m lucky they had this bike in stock and I’m very much looking forward to riding it!!

The most pleasant purchase/customer service I have ever received..Salesman(Jacob) went above and beyond to help me get everything that I needed. Even researching and offering suggestions/options to make sure I had exactly what I wanted and was within the budget I was looking to spend. Helped me load the bike and has kept in touch and checked in for feedback even after the sale..I drove 4 hours to buy from them and will do so again and again..Bike selection and components are excellent and service is top class. Thanks guys- youve got a new customer!

Absolutely fantastic customer service - was having an issue with pumping my tire with a new pump I had just purchased when I had brought it home. Called in to see if I could bring my pump and bike in, since I know bikes shops are extremely busy this time of year and they said “no problem!” Turned out to be user error (as I expected, but wasn’t have any luck with online searches)🤦🏻‍♀️ but the staff helped, absolutely no judgement, and I left with a better understanding about maintaining my bike. Highly recommend!

The number one reason is the professional knowledgeable staff. They simply knew the answers to ever question we had. The second reason is the large in stock inventory of bikes and accessories. On the service side we needed a part and they were able to locate the part, install it and the other accessories we purchased the very next day. We appreciated the call that exceeded our expectation when the bike was ready for pick up. The third reason is that each item we have purchased from Freewheel at the Bloomington location was explained to us, was demonstrated if we needed that and we were allowed and encouraged to try on each item or take the bike on a test ride in the parking lot or on the sales floor.
